Destruction AllStars may not be a killer app that sells you on a PS5, but anyone who owns a PS5 will be happy to add it to their library. It is definitely one of the best perks of owning a PS5 yet.

If Destruction AllStars was entirely focused on the driving and crashing aspects, this review would be a hands-down recommendation. I just wish it didn’t come to a complete stop as often as it does when you lose control of the car. It does interesting things with the DualSense’s adaptive triggers and has a satisfying loop but comes to a screeching halt in other areas. Lucid Games has promised at least a year of new content for the game following its release, so hopefully, things will be fixed over time. Waiting for a fix, however, isn’t how I like to enjoy games. Luckily, Destruction AllStars is one of the free PS+ games for February, so with an online subscription and a PS5, I would recommend downloading it to give it a spin.

Este juego ha sido injustamente denostado por la comunidad, y yo vengo a defenderlo como es debido. «Destruction AllStars» es un juego innovador que destaca por mostrar las virtudes de la PlayStation 5 y, creo que cumple con creces con las expectativas en este sentido. La retroalimentación háptica, junto con los gatillos adaptativos, ofrece una experiencia que es difícilmente replicable en otras plataformas. La premisa es sencilla: controlas a un personaje que tiene un coche personalizado, y tu objetivo es destrozar el coche de los demás contrincantes antes de que destruyan el tuyo. Para ello podrás realizar trucos y podrás usar el estadio y los obstáculos a tu favor. Los personajes son bastante extravagantes, pero tienen su propio modo para un jugador (modo historia) y ahí se ahonda más en sus personalidades. El juego, por desgracia, fue víctima de la guerra cultural en redes sociales, y boicotearon el juego por ser demasiado progresista. Insisto, el juego merece la pena y no deberíais hacer caso a los que dicen lo contrario. La única pega es que los servidores online a día de hoy están cerrados, pero tiene modos offline y bots, así que no te preocupes porque podrás probar el juego igualmente.

For now, the biggest selling point of Destruction AllStars is the fact that it's included in the PS Plus: at 80 euros we certainly wouldn't have recommended it.

Destruction AllStars is a game that should be offered to all PS5 buyers. If it justifies its place in a basic bundle, it certainly does not have the qualities for a purchase. Too repetitive to be fun in the long run, it could perhaps become more interesting evolving. But its reputation is unfortunately already known.

Out of the gate, Destruction AllStars is shallow and struggles to give players a compelling reason to stick with it for the long-term. But like other live service games, it's possible that Destruction AllStars will improve as the developers address fan feedback and add more meaningful content to the game. The foundation is there for Destruction AllStars to eventually be great, with reliable performance, beautiful graphics, and fun core gameplay, but there's a long way to go if it ever wants to reach that point.

Out of the 4 modes available at launch, 2 of them feel redundant and unbalanced. The single-player content is slim and if you want even a crumb more, you’ll have to pay, which leaves Destruction Allstars feeling like a clumsy, hollow product whose fun moments go by in a blur.

Jim and Lucid Games have done a great job listening to fan feedback to turn the lukewarm launch of this demolition derby game into another Playstation banger. Quicker cooldowns, smaller maps, rebalanced characters, and higher quality cosmetics all contribute to a much more fun player experience. Additionally, the poopy game modes like stockpile were removed! Great work and I hope to see even more new content!! LETS GO LUCID GAMES!!!!

It’s a free game. Nothing is locked behind micro transactions except for cosmetics. It’s not for everyone but it’s fun and enjoyable. People who are overtly negative are the same kinds of people who leave CoD matches because their team is losing. Look forward to seeing where they take this game. Great pick up and play game. Decent soundtrack too!

Destruction AllStars is like a combination of Rocket League and Destruction Derby. While on paper it may seem like a good idea, on execution game doesn’t deliver. It looks graphically stunning although I personally hate its visual style. The problem lies mainly with the gameplay mechanics. Maybe 25% to 50% of your playtime will be outside your car running, trying to get in into another car. And that part is really tedious. The car combat is ok, but it has been done much better by many other games already. Last, but not the least, game is further crippled by microtransactions which are required to unlock some game content. It may be a wise move by Sony to offer this as a PS Plus freebie and introduce some microtransactions, considering most people would be very upset if they paid full price for it. Destruction AllStars is not a good game and in a few months it will probably be a dead multiplayer game, despite being in the library of all PS Plus subscribers.

Nothing much to say .. boring game doesn’t worth a dollar in order for it to survive it must may be free . I can’t imagine anyone would be money for it . On the plus side great graphics great dualsense support
