This game definitely lived up to the hype, while it lacks the interconnectedness of DS1 and the massive build variety of DS2, DS3 makes up for it with its amazing levels, bosses, and weapons. This game perfected the combat of the previous souls games with fun levels, cool side quests, and better lore. The only negatives I can say are pretty nitpicky, a few of the bosses didn't feel fun to play against for different reasons but they were all optional bosses. I also really hate the fact that some of the coolest weapons are locked behind the end game / DLC which is very sad but there are still many amazing options early game. If you like DS1 and tolerated DS2 you will absolutely enjoy this game. While it doesn't do anything unique, it's nearly perfected the formula.

Great franchise, great game.Every fan of Souls-like games has to play this **** beginners, you have to give it a chance; like all Souls-like games, it's difficult and frustrating at first, but it's a great game.

Dark Souls 3 is an absolute 10 out of 10 masterpiece! I absolutely love Miyazaki and his brilliant vision for this incredible trilogy conclusion. The fast combat rhythm, epic boss designs, and hauntingly beautiful world atmospheres are unmatched. Fighting legendary Lords of Cinder feels spectacular, and the intense soundtrack gives me goosebumps every single time. Miyazaki is a true gaming genius who never fails to deliver perfection. Best game ever made!

Dark Souls III made the most of out its game mechanics. Its boss fights were the most exciting, the most cinematic, and the most challenging before From Software continued on to make Sekiro and Elden Ring. The lore and the ending of Dark Souls III are fittingly somber with a glimmer of hope.

I just started playing and I've been trying to beat the first boss and when I failed multiple times I looked up how to defeat him it tells me I have to stay close to him but that's a lie. The mechanics doesn't work for the game. I don't understand why you have a game to where you can't defeat the first boss. I don't understand why there is misleading information.

This is the best Dark Souls game and probably the best FromSoftware game, on par with Bloodborne. From the start on there's this magic atmosphere that **** you in, like the Firelink Shrine Music and the dialogues that don't feel like filler content. DS3 Bosses are one of the best if not the best in the entire Soulsborne with the DLC's cooking in particular in this regard. The combat feels challenging but not unfair with a lot of enemy and weapon variety that incites you to replay this game. Locations are great but some of them feel the same because they are the same color-wise, DS2 was much better in this regard. Overall DS3 is like Elden Ring but with a better story and atmosphere. 10/10 must play.

Best of both worlds of Dark Souls 2 and Bloodborne, with its own innovative QoL and level design decisions.

masterpiece. This game is superb in every respect—it has absolutely no flaws. The sound design, bosses, and balance are incredible, and the emotions the game evokes are simply extraordinary.

I love this game I don't know how to explain how it felt playing this game for the first time but I go back and play it and I get this random short feeling deep in my chest that reminds me of when I first played it and it makes me happy that it was so fun but a Slight melancholy feeling of reminiscence on how fun it was and that I wont be able to play It Again for the first time. It matters the way you play it the first time but if done just right way it will stay with you for the rest of your life

Best feeling gameplay in the series, best level design, best story, really feels like a love letter to the rest of the franchise, and was my introduction to it all. There's no feeling quite like going from taking weeks to beat the Abyss Watchers to beating them in minutes without getting hit.

As always the best level design and atmosphere. The world is done so well. There are a lot of cool and memorable bosses including epic arenas and music. Sadly there are some frustrating encounters against enemy mobs but that's part of the series. Story as always almost non existent but good lore. It was pretty short with 20 hours compared to bigger RPG's but I'd always rather have quality over quantity. There was no real innovation but still a solid game even if it's almost 10 years old.

This game holds up very well today. The best part of this game even compared to the other souls games is the boss fights they are absolutely amazing especially in the ringed city dlc.

Absolute perfection, it's criminal to see people saying DS2 is better, it's totally subjective to say a game is better than other but objectively, DS3 achieved what DS2 failed to do.

Dark Souls III is one of the greatest game I've ever played. Yes, it is now 10+ years old and even so, it is still fun to play it for hours. Dark Souls III end the cycle started back in 2011 in an amazing way. The story is complex but truly engaging, boss design, weapons, area and combat. The only drawback is the way they handled questline, quite a mess tbh. Highly recomend this.

The faithful sequel to DS1 and DS2, Dark Souls 3 is the final game in the trilogy, which brings some incredibly faithful gameplay, world-building and many other aspects that DS1 nailed so well. The lore and writing of DS3 remains as good as you'd expect from FromSoftware, carrying that dark, medieval fantasy writing filled with melancholly stories in the game. The level design is a bit simpler than the other 2 games, and provides a more linear experience, yet the levels are filled with so many secrets, and there are still some alternivate paths the player can go to reach the end. I'd argue this game has the best individual legacy dungeon design. One of key aspects that makes me always recommend this game; the boss fights are easily some of the best in the series. Boss fights in this game had huge effects on the industry as a whole, providing some incredible action gameplay, visual storytelling, and some of the best boss OST going. Play this game.

A great ending for the trilogy. Top tier bossfights, great lore, fluid combat and a lot of unforgettable moments. World design may be underwhelming compared to the first game, but It's really worth it, especially for those who played the previous games.

worth playing and checking out if u have played elden ring and want more of the same. boss fights are amazing especially if u are checking out the dlc. my only problem is the areas in the game are pretty tricky to get through if ur killing all of the enemys so a lot of people sadly JUST fight the bosses and skip the areas in the game. if ur getting into the souls games this is the first one u should play.

Puto juegazo.

Round 3 of an already awful series. Glitchy garbage with no story. I wanted to see what the hype was about, and i was abysmally disappointed. Just goes to show you, just because a lot of people like something doesn't mean it's good.

Right behind Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3 is my second-most cherished souls-like. More linear than DS1, it shares more characteristics with the eldritch-horror game than with its direct predecessor. There are many memorable arenas and boss fights I vividly remember. The gameplay is also quicker and focused on dodging/rolling than the clunky Dark Souls with its focus on blocking and parrying. If you want to experience the whole series, be sure to start with DS1 and don’t skip DS2 (because you’ll probably not enjoy it as much after you’ve played DS3).

Wonderful level design besides one area early in the game, and it only gets better as the game goes on. For boss designs, every fight is good besides one early game boss like with the areas. Only takeaway of this game is how insanely easy it is. There was one boss that took me more than 12 attempts. There are two insanely good DLCs with some absolutely amazing bosses that are actually difficult besides one NPC boss fight that dies in 15 hits max. Ashes of Ariandel and The Ringed City connect amazingly and have great stories. I strongly recommend this game.

So did you like DS3 in the end? Very much! And I'm especially glad that I finished it without any particular rage quit. It has a good atmosphere, a captivating atmosphere, and the locations and enemies are varied (you have to think about what the best way to fight them is). Of course, you can go crazy and go all out, but that's not my style. The transitions are also nice, it's a shame they skimp on them so much... In any case, this game is a huge success, and since I didn't max it out completely, I might look back...

Incredible mood, tight combat, punishing but rarely feels unfair until you get into the late game. Its themes of stagnation and thematic moulding are really interesting and well-executed. Just an all-around stellar action RPG

Dark Souls III takes everything good about Dark Souls I and II and improves on it, except for world design, but it's good enough in every other way for that not to hold it back from 10/10 glory!

It’s a game that neatly concludes the universe established by its predecessors while striking an impressive balance between challenge and accessibility. The boss designs and attack patterns show remarkable improvement over earlier entries, and the worldbuilding, regional aesthetics, and artwork are all highly compelling. If there’s one drawback, it would be the somewhat linear feel caused by the forced use of shortcuts and the lack of organic connectivity between certain areas.

OVERVIEW: Dark Souls III is the conclusion to the incredible "Dark Souls" trilogy of games created by Fromsoftware. While this is an incredible expectation for the game to live up to, Dark Souls III not only delivers but hugely exceeds expectations. Dark Souls III is the most polished and evolved game in the series and has some of the most memorable bosses and moments in gaming history. GAMEPLAY: 10/10 - All games by Fromsoftware have incredible but simple gameplay, however besides Elden Ring and Elden Ring Nightreign, Dark Souls III has the most polished and cohesive gameplay out of all of them. The combat feels smooth and responsive and the exploration is compelling. STORY: 10/10 - SOUNDTRACK: 10/10 - Dark Souls III has a very strong soundtrack with very memorable pieces. In particular a song that stands out to me and most people who play the game is the theme for the boss "Soul of Cinder". This piece is a stand out track in it's own right, but it also masterfully calls back to Dark Souls I in a way that is certain to bring out emotion in anyone who plays through the whole trilogy. CHARACTERS: 9/10 - Dark Souls characters are always hard to review since they aren't as big of a part as they are in most typical games, however the ones you do meet throughout your journey are greatly written with amazing questlines to follow. GRAPHICS/VISUALS: 10/10 - Dark Souls III still looks incredible despite being nearly 10 years old at the time of writing. While some individual textures may look rough if you look closely, the entire image that the game presents you with is still jaw dropping every time I revisit the game. CUTSCENES: 8/10 - There aren't too many cutscenes throughout Dark Souls III, however the few in the game that do exist are memorable and get across what they need to. Overall, Dark Souls III is an incredible game that I would recommend to anyone who plays games, especially if they have played any of the Dark Souls games or "souls-likes" before. It still holds up very well in 2025 and I'm certain it will beyond that.

The level design of Dark Souls 3 is often just irritating and frustrating. When overcoming enemies stops being a real challenge, the game instead hits you with shooting or hidden enemies over and over again. Everything about this design feels less focused on honest skill and more on unexpected events, which makes me cringe every time. That said, the graphics, locations, and enemy designs are beautiful, and the music is epic. Still, compared to Sekiro or Bloodborne, DS3 feels like an irritating spam of cheap surprises. I highly recommend installing mods and beating this game with fewer rage inducing moments.

Has the same flaws as ds1 but doesnt have the same interconnection as the it . Although it give u the fast travel option at the very beginning . Pros : Looks good ,creative enemy patters , lots of build options . If u like playing difficult games its a good one . Cons : Same problems as all the other fromsoft games , the staple camera prob , input prob , and default controls are just unusual anyone getting used to it specially for pc players . Has the same level of enemy crowd as ds1 only harder . Some areas just force u kill the enemies everytime u pass it and as the enemies are harder it gets more tedious . Enemy AI is still stupid as hell .Has even less freedom than ds1 . It's a solid 6.8 if u include pvp , mods and everything . Plus there is a lot of youtube videos . But if ur only playing it offline and not using any sort of mods then its a 5.8
