Cookie Cutter is a well down Metroidvania that keeps you pushing forward. Bosses can be tough but keep you coming back because they are not cheap. Level design is well done and abilities although standard fair for a Metroidvania are perfect for ability locks and keeps the gameflow good with rewarding backtracking. I would call it a AA+ game and such a small Studio making it is amazing. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Awesome animations, perfect soundtrack and great action gameplay. Fighting gives a pure hack'n'slash feel but in a metroidvania genre. The unique concept art and a perfect level design complete the overall picture. A must have not only for all lovers of metroidvania genre, but also for who loves action and fighting.

Great game, always fun with an addictive combat system. The exploration and the map are very well made. It's hard to believe that it is a work from a very small indie team.

Just one of the most stylish recent indie game out there. Loved the animations, the combat system and the art inside.

Great throwback game, I like the color palette,bright colors that pop out, sometimes almost too much going on the screen at one time with all the animation, and characters are great, just a good mash up of so many things, I just cant get the hang of the perry in the game so I just dodge around!

Amazing art, like, REALLY amazing, a solid attitude that doesn't get right in your face but instead amuses and intrigues you throughout the game, banging combat and top notch sound. The levels are HUGE and the map does a fair job of helping to keep you on point, despite a couple of instances where I got totally lost. The boss fights are utterly badass - just the right amount of challenge that means you don't cut straight through them but instead get a real sense of achievement when you beat them. It might not be absolutely the very best metroidvania ever, but it's pretty close. Probably the best this year.

Wonderful blend of action combat and classic Metroidvania. Beautiful animation, inspiring main character and so punk rock. Highly Recommended!

Cool little Metroidvania with plenty of action and fun areas to explore. The art style is excellent, the combat is fun, and it's refreshing to play as a protagonist as unique and badass as Cherry. Frankly, it's cool to play as a female who doesn't look like a sex doll for a change. The only thing preventing this from earning a higher score are the bugs -- there are many, *many* bugs, most are just annoying, but some quest/trophy breaking. It's clear this game was not ready for release and needed another month of play testing. Still, even with the hiccups, it was a joy to play. Took about 30 hours on a very thorough playthrough.

only worth 10 dollar. - 10 - 14 hour long. -not polished meh 2d Metroidvania, cringe story, annoying bad glitches, sometime control not responding will, very repetitive combat with bad ai enemies, bad parry, little enemy types, bad bosses and bad open ending. -only good speed movement, level design, gore and its Metroidvania.

Sadly, not good. There's some excellent animations here and there... but they're interspersed with some awful "flash like" stuff that it's very offputting. YMMV about the art style, but I personally detest it, especially the atrocious main character with her weird proportions and poses and those cartoon stumpy legs. Worst protagonist in the history of metroidvanias. Controls are kind of floaty and unreliable; annoying to navigate and jump on platforms. The parry feels its cheating and you get hit when you're not supposed to be. Combat just isn't fun. Fatalities could have been great... if only you were able to see what happens, since they're super fast and unintelligible. Not recommended.
