The expansion is not revolutionary in any way, but it makes Cities: Skylines an even more complete city builder. [12/2015, p.61]
Although not revolutionary, After Dark still brings some great new features to the table.
After Dark is a well made expansion to Cities: Skylines. It introduces some eagerly awaited novelties: there are new buildings, new transport solutions, and a night-day cycle (which is really interesting and enriches the gameplay). You can wonder whether this add-on is worth its current price-tag - fans don't need to persuaded but everyone else should wait for a discount.

Okay, where to start... I loved parts of this game, but frankly the broken death mechanic renders it unplayable after a period of time. The developers response: working as intended. Basically they've built such a mind-numbingly simple civ model that it can't handle different play styles.

For a cheap expansion, it really helped me get back into Cities. The cities look great with the lighting, and they added several new building types to the game. Definitely the best city sim since simcity 4.......

A decent free upgrade for the game that has been so good. The night shift is not only eye candy, but also changes the cites operation to create a more dynamic and vivid world. After months leaving, back to see my city in this new dimension is a great joy.

After Dark is a good expansion to a solid game. It does not alter the experience of the core game, but definitely adds to it in various and interesting ways. It is well worth your time and you will spend countless hours in your new 24/7 cities.

A good expansion pack: the price is just fine, as it adds enough to the gameplay to keep the player entertained for a long time.

After Dark won't make you learn the game mechanics anew. It's mostly a collection of models and small, more or less successful improvements. The biggest addition is not the new specializations and building, but the day and night cycle, available for free.

After Dark is a pack of DLC that allows the user to specialize zones, to promote tourism or increase tax revenue with some downside associated costs to crime and traffic. There are a handful of new buildings and ways of tinkering with your city that adds a fair amount of value. However, by far the biggest improvement to come with this DLC - a day and night cycle with gameplay effects - is available for free. You don't need to buy this DLC to enjoy a beautiful night cycle in your cities, but if you enjoy the game you'll probably be interested in the stuff this DLC has to offer. Paradox has said that they wanted to make all DLC optional, so that users won't feel like they're feeling compelled to purchase the DLC for the full experience. In this, I think that they've succeeded, as a night cycle was most of what I was hoping for in this title upon release - and again, it's free. That said, I was more than happy to shell out 15 bucks for this DLC so that I can support continued development of this awesome city-builder. Cities: Skylines remains the top city builder on the market right now, and it just got a whole lot prettier.

All that SimCity would had to be. This is almost perfection, great community, great workshop, in one word => excellent, let us see many future improvements.

The idea behind that Game is nice and well thought through, but the performance is trash. I mean my Pc is getting as hot as if i play GTA V or the Witcher 3, like srsly? This game is very bad optimized for the Pc, apart from that the Game itself is nice, looking forward to some perf. Patches.
