Battlloon
Like many other eShop multiplayer titles, BATTLLOON is a decently fun, unique, and budget-friendly supplement to more complete multiplayer experiences like Super Smash Brothers Ultimate and Mario Kart 8. However, it is bested by many of its download-only peers–you are doing yourself a disservice if you pick up BATTLLOON before investigating alternatives like Ultimate Chicken Horse and Towerfall. Still, it is by no means a bad purchase, provided you are okay with a bare-bones but good time.
While the gameplay itself is fun and the simple presentation and aesthetic fits, not being able to set your own game length, choose which stages to play, or really alter any of the mechanics dramatically takes away from the experience. Making matters worse is the absence of a single-player mode. Not to put too fine a point on it but I don’t think Battlloon does enough to stand out in an ever-more crowded Switch eShop. For some cheap and quick entertainment, it barely does the job, and even then I think you’re better off just letting this one fly away.

Game does not work. I purchased this for my son from the Nintendo eShop. The game opens with a welcome screen advising you to “Press L+R” to start the Tutorial, but does not respond to the inputs. Restarting Switch, re-pairing joycons and deleting/re-installing the game made no difference. L and R buttons work perfectly fine on all other games. Waste of money. Don’t bother.

What Battlloon does well, it does extremely well - offering up a simple arcade battle royale experience. Get a bunch of friends together, and you’ll have fun. Unfortunately, the lack of additional content will only allow the fun to last for a little while. But, for those of you that are looking for a couch multiplayer game, this may be right up your alley.

Fun for around 1-3 hours, after that it gets pretty boring... I believe the right solution is adding some more content, maybe like a different mode or a custom mode maker and for the love of god please add a stage selector it would help a lot. The graphics look really good
