Well, the game is very buggy. The bugs aren’t necessarily game-breaking but very annoying, forcing you to replay some stages like 10 times or just straight up rage quit. I enjoyed the story when I played the original but this version just **** the fun out of it. Stealth is practically impossible, some mechanics are lacklustre and the UI is terrible (you would think they would change it since it’s a 2012 game but oh well). Honestly, you’re way better off just playing the original. Even though, it has the same flaws, I think it’s to a lesser extent in the original.

Unfortunately, I couldn't progress through the main quest due to unresolved bugs in the game. If Ubisoft releases an update to fix these bugs, maybe I'll consider it. In short, don't buy this game; your buggy gaming experience will be incomplete. ...

Game has a very lengthy prologue, mediocre pacing of the story, weak main protagonist and the worst ending in the series. Combat is pretty alright. Optional objectives are completely absurd, often making you go out of your way to do them and prove to be annoying because they're often very specific. I didn't the game that much. Would recommend for the story, but don't expect much when it comes to pacing and gameplay.

This game has too many flaws. Firstly, the Desmond Miles mission simply ****, it's not fun and the story bores the hell out of me. The ending of the game isn't that great either and the choice given to Desmond makes zero sense and is almost equivalent to "Would you rather have 1 million dollars or have dinner with JayZ?"Secondly, the game's biggest flaw is the world design. This game is simply too big for it's own good while having almost nothing to do. Combine with the fact that horses feel really bad to ride and I find myself simply teleporting to the start of every mission.Connor isn't that great of a character either, he has almost no personality and is angsty. The voice actors for the native characters and Connor himself just isn't that well done. I understand them wanting to use real native Americans for the voices, but it genuinely just sounds like someone reading a book outloud. That being said, the combat is really nice though. There's a nice variety of enemies that requires a completely different approach and actually gets me to use my brain instead of simply running through all of them just like I did in the Ezio trilogy. I do wish the different type of enemies look more distinct though as I find their whole get-up to look very samey.

When I played Brotherhood, I thought it was the worst Assassin's Creed game, but AC III managed to change my mind. AC III is deadly boring, with extremely tedious missions. The story is really just thrown in for the sake of it, and the combat and parkour are worse than AC Revelations, in my opinion. To cut a long story short, when Ubisoft created AC III, they didn't feel like working, as usual. Ahhh, I miss Ezio.

This game is the definition of mid. While it has some interesting elements, like the new parkour system, it fails to provide a good story and engaging gameplay. Even though we're talking about the remastered version, I don't think this game looks particularly good, and for some reason it liked putting drops of blood on faces, even if the damage wasn't that bad. I hate Connor! He is a crybaby, who refuses to do what has to be done, a huge downgrade after Ezio. The gameplay is fine, there are improvements in the parkour and the fighting system, which at first I didn't like, but later got the hang of it. I'll say that this full synchronization thing is ridiculous here, now you need to do like 3 separate things to 100% a level. My biggest problem is with the story, though. Despite the setting of the past storyline is the War of Independence, it is boring somehow. Most missions are too general, at least the actual war sequences are cool. The present storyline also falls face flat on the ground. I am genuinely pissed off that the game has not one, but two terrible endings, one for each storyline. Side activities and other things are just fine, nothing crazy, I haven't even finished them, since the game just constantly disappoints me. How could I summarize this? Is this a bad game? Kinda, but still better than the earliest parts (it has variety thankfully). Did I expect more? Definitely, especially after the Ezio games. It might be worth a try, but you might be disappointed.

Connor's story is refreshing and varied. The historical setting feels unique and is a welcome departure from previous entries in the series. However, the narrative of Desmond continues to be a point of contention, as his storyline has consistently failed to capture my interest throughout the series, and AC3 is no exception.Visually, the game holds up well for its age, showcasing a well-designed environment that enhances the immersive experience. Nevertheless, the abundance of features can feel overwhelming, particularly when many of them are not adequately explained. This lack of clarity detracts from the overall experience, making it challenging to engage with the game’s numerous mechanics. The side activities, such as hunting, feel underdeveloped and fail to provide a compelling reason to dive into them. This lack of motivation extends to the overall gameplay, which is disappointing. Combat is overly simplistic and lacks challenge, while movement—whether on foot or horseback—often feels clunky and unresponsive. In conclusion, while Assassin's Creed 3 offers an intriguing story and nice visuals, it falls short in gameplay mechanics and the execution of side activities, leaving much to be desired for players seeking a more polished experience.

I played this game twice, once at launch and again in 2025, when I went for the platinum. And my God, what a chore. Everything about it felt awful. The story didn’t hook me, Connor was unbearable, a character consumed by hatred who never truly evolves beyond his anger. In my opinion, he’s just poorly written. Some missions were enjoyable, but that’s about it. The world wasn’t even beautiful, I never once felt the urge to stop and admire the scenery. Honestly, this is a game I’d rather forget, given how much it made me suffer.

starting with the positives since it won’t take long pros: the modern day plot is great, when the combat works it looks great and is a lot of fun, the world on the remastered version is nice to look at whilst still looking dated i would say it stands up well with the remastered version, haytham is a really good interesting character. cons: the intro is just too damn long, i understand the story they wanted to tell had to begin at this point but it’s simply too slow paced and frankly boring, the parkour is much more shallow than the previous game and the world is clearly not built with parkour in mind, tree parkour is fun and looks good however it’s very rarely useful outside missions, boston is one of the most bland cities in video game history, when combat works (which is rarely) it is boring and not challenging yet somehow manages to also be frustrating as certain enemy types are not well explained by the game making them impossible to defeat early on and lastly, bugs are everywhere in this game, some examples of bugs i encountered fairly early in my playthrough: connor didn’t respond to my inputs around 20% of the time i was trying to parry, connor refused to climb easily climbable objects, some bushes don’t let you hide in them half the time overall: this game is not very good, it’s very buggy, the world isn’t built well for parkour and the combat is either boring or doesn’t work. despite all this if you are a fan of the AC franchise it is still worth playing in my opinion to simply experience this chapter of desmond’s story, the modern day is the most enjoyable part of the game and i would recommend it just for that. thanks for reading.

I don’t care what other people scored this game or say , I enjoyed it completely. The visuals and recreation of the revolution era are amazing. The game is not perfect but I had lots of fun and enjoyment . The story was well done and the other game included (Liberation) is also pretty good. Don’t mind the haters , great game!

It's ALWAYS something. That may sound like it doesn't mean a whole lot, but hear me out. I've recently begun my journey towards the platinum trophy (like all AC games) and I mean absolutely no exaggeration when I say that not a SINGLE mechanic, object, thing, location, NPC, is unbroken. Every single little thing in this game has an incessant habit of simply not working for no arbitrary reason. Let this game be an eternal example on how NOT to design a game because it is downright terrible. Unity on launch was less buggy than this "remaster". Calling this a remaster is an insult to every remaster, it is BAFFLING how they got away with this. Do yourself a favor and just play the original on PC if it's still available, stay far, FAR away from this version. It is complete garbage.

Clunky control mechanics, when reloading a gun it takes so long. I could stuff a Thanksgiving Turkey quicker than how long it takes to reload a musket or shotgun in this game.

Assasins Creed III Remestered en sevdiğim Assasins Creed oyunudur grafiklerde ışıklandırma dışında çok yenilikçi birşey yapmasada...... açık konuşalım en sevdiğim Assasins creed olmasına rağmen oyun aynı 2011 versionu ile h.çbir farkı yok aksiyon oyananış tamam bu bir remestered ama hiçbirşey yapmasanız bile bari grafiklerde güzel birşey yapsaydınız. güneşe bakıp ekranı kaplaması remestered olduğu anlamına gelmez

What a botch. Textures look better in some places and worse in others. Character models are inconsistent from cut scene to cut scene, as in they cut corners often to update only specific moments and not others, even ones that are in the same cut scene. It's super jarring. Bugs are everywhere, just like the old game, so the game is literally just a reskin, but it gets worse as there are constant issues with HDR that require you to reset your HDR off and on EVERY TIME YOU TURN THE GAME ON. New issues like HUD showing the same tutorial prompts constantly, which require you to exit the game and reload. The game itself is fun with a good storyline, but the tedious bugs and visuals make it a difficult experience at best. Not even worth $20.

I originally started playing this on the PS4 and gave up about 7 hours in finding it a very glitchy and buggy affair. A year later on the PS5 and either because of patches, or the hardware it was a much better experience. Graphically it looks great considering its age. It is somewhat let down by the combat and parkour which is massively dumbed down in comparison to the Ezio trilogy and later titles, but it works for what it is. Having already played Black Flag (And Rogue) I actually enjoyed the story as it filled in a lot of gaps and also gave us a what happened next. (I do think the trio are much better played in chronological order as opposed to release order) Overall a solid if not spectacular title that sets up the scene nicely for Black Flag.

Assassin's Creed III: Remastered: 7/10 The movements and animations are much improved, they are very good, a big leap in quality, everything is more dynamic. Still, the gameplay can be a little slow at times. The remastering doesn't do it justice, especially in terms of colours and textures, not to mention the modelling of the faces. Connor will unfortunately go down in the saga without glory, he has zero charisma and he's a bore to boot. Assassin's Creed III: Liberation: 6/10 It took me more than 6 restarts to finish the story in this fast-paced, glitch-ridden game. This game was not made in Montreal and was released before. Disappointing, but still a good basis for an AC.

I think AC3 gets a lot of heat for not rising to the greatness of the Ezio trilogy. It's not as good as the Ezio trilogy, which would easily get a 9/10 from me, if not a perfect score. But that by no means suggests that it is a bad addition to the franchise. The story is great and takes a different spin on the Assassin's from what we are used to up to this point in the series. Additionally, the combat system, I think is great. I played the original AC3 back when it came out on the XBOX360 and didn't get too into it. But I gave the remastered version a chance and I do not regret it. In addition to better graphics, the game seems to run smoother and quicker on better systems. I understand that it isn't for everyone, but I personally feel it is worth the play through if you are interested in the Assassin's Creed storyline. Also, I never experienced any bugs during my play **** least nothing game breaking similar to the other reviewers. If I had, I probably would knock it down a peg or 2....

This would be a good game were it not so insanely buggy. It crashes frequently and can honestly be a slog to get through. Plus Connor is not nearly as interesting as Ezio.

Pros - one of the best feeling combat systems in the series - the frontier is fun to navigate - the estate and its related stories are fun - the bait and switch beginning was a shocker on a first playthrough - the modern day takes you through some interesting vistas Cons - one of the worst feeling stealth systems in the series - Connor is a slow burn protagonist that gets interesting like three sequences before the game ends - this is the game that took the modern storyline into a back alley, shanked it and let it to bleed out ACIII is probably one of the more controversial entries into the franchise, in regards to what it has done to the story. But let us start with the good things. The combat feels fantastic. It is fast and responsive plus it is helped by Connors animations being some of the most brutal the series ever had. The enemy variety… all right, the three enemy types allow for a more fun version of the previous combat systems the series had, still allowing you to slaughter groups through a series of fast chained kills. Though now you need to press a single extra button to break the guard of the tougher enemies. The frontier is beautiful and fun to navigate through the ''natural'' convenient system of tree branches. The fact that it also changes with the seasons is also fantastic. Parkour getting overhauled where you can now perform quick vaults over low barriers also helps to make the game feel more fun. What is not fun though, is trying to pull off anything in stealth. ACIII was clearly designed to be a combat game. Nowhere else is it more obvious than during Act 7: Mission 3: Conflict Looms. For optional objectives you have to remain undetected on ships cramped with enemies and you also have to air assassinate a grenadier. If you ignore these and just fight everybody, this is a five minute mission. If you are going for the 100%... goooooood luck not getting frustrated to the maximum. This is also the game that ended the modern story with Desmond Miles. By getting rid of him in the end, Ubisoft ended five games of foreshadowing on one of their messiest fumbles ever. Every game that followed had nothing to add to the modern day storyline which is hilarious, as Desmond was clearly being set up to take the reins **** set in modern times, gaining skills via the Bleeding Effect. ACIII, a game that tried a lot of things, but ultimately fell a little flat. Still worth playing but other than that, kinda meh.

This was my first every Assassin's Creed game back on PS3 and I was really excited to get back and play this game. I like the American Revolution time period and how the graphics look better. It still was not good when I am climbing stuff as I would try to get Connor to move one direction but he would just move the opposite way. The most frustrating part is trying to get 100% completion. Those stupid story synchronization just made me made. Overall this is a good Remastered but it still had some problems like it did in the PS3 version. The dlc to the game was very boring to me and should not have been made. AC Liberation was pretty solid. The story set in New Orleans was nice change of area. Story could have been better but I like it a lot. Good game but was very irritating at some points.

Played the in late 2020 and as all bugs has been fixed I could say that this is one of the best story in the AC series. Graphics is also much better than in AC2 but not much better than in AC2:Revelations.
