Replayed the game almost 10 years after release and this game frustrates me so much. It had so much potential with the story and mechanics (like the gunplay) but falls short because of the gameplay loop, which is very repetitive. The gameplay consist of like 30 hours of taking the city (it gets boring after the first 2 regions) and a couple of hours of actual missions (which were great btw). Mafia III also suffers from being full of glitches. Crashes and certain game-breaking bugs are common. Nonetheless, I recommend this game. I think you still can have fun, especially if you don’t mind a repetitive gameplay loop.

Well, the game is very buggy. The bugs aren’t necessarily game-breaking but very annoying, forcing you to replay some stages like 10 times or just straight up rage quit. I enjoyed the story when I played the original but this version just **** the fun out of it. Stealth is practically impossible, some mechanics are lacklustre and the UI is terrible (you would think they would change it since it’s a 2012 game but oh well). Honestly, you’re way better off just playing the original. Even though, it has the same flaws, I think it’s to a lesser extent in the original.
