The monetisation will put plenty of players off, but the free-to-play format means anyone can jump in and enjoy the sheer absurdity of some of its track designs. This is a bite-sized game, intended to be played in short bursts, so if you’ve been pining for something silly, simple, and completely over-the-top, there really aren’t many better options on PS5. Sometimes all a game needs to be is fun, and Asphalt Legends Unite is exactly that.

Not a super realistic racing game. Don't expect a simulator. It's still very fun though.

this game makes no sense. how am i 400 points above the recommended level, yet with multiple shockwaves AND WHILE WATCHING THE BOTS MESS UP i still only seem to catch up when the game “wants me to” i.e. when i leave and come back after a little bit the difficulty is very noticeably easier, and i also noticed a very sharp slowing in difficulty the first time i made a purchase. shady ****. not to mention the map design is ****. “hey let’s cover up this fork in the road while having it be 2 feet away so that it’s not possible to survive unless youve memorized the **** map wish i could give this website 0 stars for how **** the typing feels. **** ****. **** this website **** metacritic

An amazing arcade racing game, the gameplay is ultra satisfying, my graphics are huge compared to the relatively small developer behind it (Gameloft, the game is developed by their studios in Barcelona which has less than 200 employees), the game content is huge and diverse, and regarding the micro transactions aspect, you can unlock the best cars by playing relatively a lot and participating in events. for me the best "free" racing game (free to play, with optional micro transactions)

Being a f2p arcade racer it's likely that gamers already know what to expect in terms of mtx and passes etc. As a game itself it's actually rather enjoyable if you liked thinks such as Burnout with pretty simple mechanics to gameplay and I can't honestly say I've found the game that difficult if you've got an appropriate levelled car for the event. One of the critic reviews about rubber-banding seems to not be as bad as they suggest with me winning races so long as I race well and don't crash with me being victorious in races some way in front of the slower cars. The game is grindy, be warned but honestly as something to just pick up and play for no money at all it definitely delivers on the fun.

The new update brought the worst music in the entire series. The new music doesn't fit the racing genre at all! They also ruined all the contracts I had before the update. iiii diiii ooot ssss
