Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure
The difficulty curve consistently escalates in challenge while remaining remarkably well-tuned, which prevents the frustrating roadblocks that hamper many lesser puzzle games.
Arranger entertains the player because of its restrictions, not in spite of them. The resolution to Jemma’s every conundrum rarely lies more than a few sliding moves away, as unimaginable as that sometimes seems. But it insists you think not just outside the box, but around the corner and into the spaces beyond the edge of the screen.
Arranger is a creative outing with a perfectly balanced sense of adventure. The light-hearted tone is coupled with the unique sliding mechanic to present something different and, most importantly, fun. This is a title worth checking out.

Avery fun and intuitive experience, I would say it doesn't mix it up enough with the mechanics nearly enough but doesn't overstay its welcome either. Its that typical overused indie humor but I found it to be charming.

What an awesome game! It made me feel super smart, while also with moments super stupid. In Arranger you move the area you walk on and solve puzzles that way. And they are round, so if you leave an area at the top, you’ll return at the bottom. With this mechanic, you’ll solve many many puzzles in this awesome adventure game. You’ll never fight with weapons in your hand, or open locks with keys in your pockets. The items lay around on the floor and it is up to you to move them toward the objective. It takes a bit of time to wrap your head around it, but it is so well done and unique. What took me the most time to get used to is that you can move items from within buildings outside by just moving them along with you. I also have felt stumped on some puzzles for a while, especially in the later areas and in the optional dungeons. What helped me when I was stuck was to remind me which info I had on solving the puzzle and what am I unsure about or what am I missing. There were like 1 or 2 puzzles I solved by luck by just moving around. However, there always is a solution, you just have to see it. The story in Arranger is interesting and funny. I love that they added a story that made sense and also made fun of that your character is the only one who moves around in such a weird way. You’ll meet a lovely bunch of interesting people, from good to evil people and from clumsy to skilled people. The variety and the amount of characters you’ll meet is crazy for such a short story, but they all fit in and made sense to be there.

Jemma "moves a little differently" in this world and that is not just fine - it's what gives Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure a double purpose in terms of both unique gameplay and narrative. It makes you think, and not just about the puzzles themselves, while you try to make everything fit, or perhaps while you are actually disarranging what was a bit too arranged. For this lovely adventure we're thankful, this is the game you all have to play this summer.

Setting Jemma on her fearless path in Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure requires sliding panels in every direction. Dealing with the puzzles alone would confound players, so the strong writing provides needed rest from the difficult solutions.

Players who enjoy casual puzzle titles are sure to find something to love in Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure. With its beautifully hand-drawn world and original puzzle mechanics, Arranger offers a compelling story world with engaging puzzles that are great for puzzle fans, both young and old. The world’s grid system creates a novel way to interact with engaging puzzles while also expanding on the story world. If you’re looking for a hardcore puzzle challenge, Arranger might not be for you, however, if you’re looking for a casual experience with colourful graphics to boot, Arranger will be a great fit for your library.

Arranger takes a type of game puzzle that is often irritating and turns it into something pretty cool – even if some of that frustration remains. It's absolutely gorgeous and full of interesting mechanical ideas, and though its core premise isn't the most exciting, it makes a strong argument for its own existence.

I really appreciate Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure and everything it sets out to do, as the concept is great, the story fun, and some puzzles thought-provoking. I just wish that it wasn’t so rushed, concepts were better explained, and that new puzzle elements weren’t abandoned as swiftly as they are introduced. You don’t get time to appreciate all that Jemma can do or the situations around her, and you’re left to stumble into new abilities or possibilities. If there had been a few more puzzles and framework, it’d been a stronger game.

The sliding puzzle system is boring. The tempo is too **** characters are not appealing.
