Vertigo Games has brought the Arizona Sunshine franchise back from the dead and living its best afterlife. With pitch perfect writing, acting, pacing and outstanding action, Arizona Sunshine 2 offers some of the most engaging and accessible arcade violence yet to grace VR.

Arizona Sunshine 2 might not be the groundbreaking landmark the first game was, but improved gunplay, a fun companion, and rapid-fire jokes make this a ride well worth taking. Often tense, always fun, and sometimes emotionally impactful, Arizona Sunshine feels like big-budget entertainment. Just play by yourself the first time so your friend doesn't chatter through all the good stuff.

I truly loved this game. After playing AS1 and now the second installment, I must say that this game is much better. The graphics are more crisp, the improvements to guns and reloading are great, and the addition of Buddy was nice. In this sequel we see more and create more explosions. The addition of explosives and melee weapons was exactly what the game needed. All in all I loved every bit.

A good zombie slayer, heir to one of the first games of the genre in virtual reality. Arizona Sunshine 2 uses some references – dog à la Fallout, TLoU-style zombie mutations, mainly – to increase the fun and game solutions. It's a shame for a visual design that took into account the all-in-one versions of the game, especially in outdoor scenarios, and the graphic limitations are also felt on PS VR2 and PC. Better show, but not as much as it could have been.

Arizona Sunshine 2 convinces with its brainless action, its silly humor and the relationship between Buddy and the protagonist. It may not innovate and have technical flaws; even you can have seen all its tricks in other games, but what it does, it does in a very entertaining way: it's almost impossible to get bored with it.

Arizona Sunshine 2 improves on every aspect of the original to make this one of the best zombie games on the PSVR 2. The weapons have never felt better and make mowing down enemies a thrill. Although the horde mode is a little basic and you’ll encounter the odd glitch, the fact you can play everything with a friend improves the entire experience. With its dark humor and well-designed world, you’ll have a sadistic time annihilating foes on your trek through a post-apocalyptic world.

Arizona Sunshine 2 could have been one of the best VR games, but the developers made some weird decisions that get in the way of fully enjoying the game. However, they succeeded in what is most important - enjoyable zombie shooting. Buddy the dog is also a fantastic addition to the first installment.

A genuinely amusing zombie shooting sequel, that’s let down by clunky controls, too many bugs, and too little variety in its challenge.

Where do I start with this masterpiece? Well first off the game runs at a smooth 72 FPS the whole game on Quest 2. Now onto the story, the story is very strong from continuing off of the first. As soon as you meet Buddy you can't help but love him. The story does have some plot twists that I won't say here so you can experience it yourself, but they are amazing! I played with a friend so this made the game even better. The gameplay is very smooth and not hard to learn. This game is the perfect VR zombie game just like the first, would play again.

This is a game series that Ireally enjoys. Story was good but they don't make it feel emotion.Voice can be annoying sometimes.

Good points.
Shooting zombies is fun.
Gore is good.
Buddy the dog companion. Bad points.
Picking up ammo is frustrating and janky Some performance issues for me on heavily populated fights. You should be allowed more guns can only carry 3. Perhaps another gun over the other shoulder. Not much in the way of crafting and next to no customising.

The price is outrageous for 4 hours of playtime! Lots of bad design decisions, hardly any improvements on the predecessor, poor graphics, lots of bugs that make the game difficult to play, clunky controls..... Just like the first part, the co-op mode doesn't work properly.

Just bloat. Graphics are nice, dialogue is desperately trying to be Deadpool.Gunplay and weapons are far inferior to other titles like Pavlov. All in all unless this game goes down to 20 bucks it’s really not worth it. What a disappointment.
