Star Wars Jedi: Survivor7
Mar 27, 2026
It's a game with a solid story, improved gameplay, and great graphics, but the terrible optimization really ruins it. I've never before encountered a game with such severe memory leak issues.

The Long Dark8
Mar 27, 2026
The immersion this game achieves is impressive. If you're looking for a realistic game, I don't think there are many others besides this one. This is both a good and a bad thing, because you'll find that in certain situations you're completely helpless and unable to do anything to save yourself, which can be frustrating for some players. But in return, it's a very interesting experience that most games struggle to replicate. It's not a stressful or frantic game; planning and preparation are key to survival.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach8
Mar 27, 2026
Very well! Visually and technically, Death Stranding 2 is one of the most impressive games now: stunning landscapes (ok. Almost empty), excellent facial animation, an atmospheric soundtrack, and expressive performances. The story has become deeper and more emotional, but in places it still follows the structure of the first game, and some twists are easily predictable. Nevertheless, the ending leaves a powerful impression, and the philosophical themes of loneliness, connection, and loss are presented with Kojima's signature style.

Machinarium6
Mar 27, 2026
*It's not a masterpiece. It's an interactive adventure disguised as puzzles that, once solved—and all of them completed—make Machinarium a one-time game. The puzzles have an unbalanced difficulty level. It features a decent soundtrack, but the gameplay—focused on solving puzzles—is limited. The way it "tells the story" is charming: cartoon-style animations depicting the characters' experiences. A simple ending to an equally simple story. A short game with no replay value.

Late Shift8
Mar 27, 2026
It's not a game. It's an interactive movie with an interesting script and more than acceptable development. It may not have the most elaborate script, but it manages to create a certain empathy with the protagonist. The positive aspect of this movie is the possibility of reaching multiple endings, which, of course, will depend on our choices—and there are quite a few of them. Completing it and reaching all the endings can take around 8 hours, so at full price it might be expensive per hour played; but with a good discount, it's very reasonable and the experience is satisfying. Its format (pre-recorded HD scenes) has a reasonable technical advantage: it can be "played" on computers with limited hardware without any problems.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider7
Mar 27, 2026
Shadow of the Tomb Raider doesn't stand out for its captivating story; in fact, it's slow and might lose its appeal after a couple of dozen plays. It could be described as rather unpolished, failing to combine action and role-playing elements in a more satisfying way. It does offer some gameplay improvements, such as the ability to configure specific difficulty levels, perhaps most noticeably in the platforming sections. In combat, Lara Croft puts up a good fight against Trinity's military wing, but not so much in the bland encounters with the natives. There are a number of side missions aimed at doing favors for the natives, similar to the previous Rise of the Tomb Raider, but these are much more monotonous and consist mainly of running around delivering items to them. They clumsily lengthen what is already a high level of boredom. While not a bad game, I would recommend it to the most devoted fans of Lara Croft. Those who aren't fans will most likely find it boring.

Terminator: Resistance8
Mar 27, 2026
Terminator Resistance is a very good action game with RPG elements, making it an entertaining experience despite its length (around 15 hours in a single playthrough). It ties into the beginning of the first film. I enjoyed it for its combat, upgrade options, and emphasis on the machines. Its popularity among Steam players shouldn't be surprising, as it's fun despite its simple gameplay and story. With a small budget and no media hype, good games can still be expected.

Mafia II: Definitive Edition4
Mar 27, 2026
The "Definitive Edition" is simply NOT A GOOD JOB. Despite including all the additional content from the original Mafia II and some graphical improvements, it contains glitches and even crashes to the desktop. I can't recommend it as software, although if you want to play Mafia II, it's the only purchase option, even though it includes the original.

Terminator: Resistance - Annihilation Line9
Mar 27, 2026
A DLC that offers the same gameplay as the base game, though in my opinion, with greater spectacle and tension: we're behind enemy lines, which means a greater enemy presence and, therefore, more frequent engagements. It's not essential for understanding the base game's story, although it does introduce a key character in Terminator lore and expands the protagonist's experiences. While the "Annihilation Line" DLC isn't groundbreaking, it's fun because it keeps the action going. It's not technically perfect, and this is noticeable in some specific areas where there are frame rate drops and issues with ragdoll physics, but these don't detract from the overall experience.

DOOM6
Mar 24, 2026
*Although intense, it becomes repetitive in the short term: killing hordes of demons from beginning to end, without any real purpose. It lacks a balance between the how (the gameplay) and the why (the story). *Because they did an excellent job with Wolfenstein. I expected something similar with Doom.

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition8
Mar 24, 2026
To avoid stating the obvious: L.A. Noire is like playing GTA V but with a logical approach; it's played calmly and thoughtfully, without being overly complicated or frustrating. It offers great action sequences—but without mindless shooting—based on real crime cases (like that of Elizabeth Short) in the city. In L.A. Noire, there's no point in doing stupid things; it's a step above Rockstar's "star" games.

Call of Duty: World at War8
Mar 24, 2026
One of the last truly great Call of Duty games. It stands out for its gore and frenetic action, but above all, for its extremely difficult (and masochistic) "veteran" difficulty, characterized by the enemy's impressively accurate aim, in stark contrast to the dreadful AI of your teammates. This, combined with the charming "go first" mechanic, effectively turns your character into cannon fodder. Recommended for fans of classic CoD games.

Thief6
Mar 24, 2026
This new version of Thief is a far cry from the quality of those released in the late 1990s or early 2000s. While the stealth mechanics work well and are challenging on higher difficulties, they seem like a mere pretext for creating a game that would bring the series into the modern era. And they failed, as a truly simplistic script is hardly enough to recommend the game. Years ago, we saw Dishonored borrowing elements from previous Thief games; years later, we saw Thief borrowing elements from that game, as a gesture of diplomatic gratitude. The result: a diminished Thief that, apart from its visuals, falls far short of its predecessors.

Lost Horizon8
Mar 24, 2026
Underrated by "experts" (of course, it's not a AAA title), though not by most gamers, it's a very good graphic adventure with puzzles (some logical, others based on chance, and a few almost absurd or nonsensical), an entertaining story, and a beautiful setting. The downsides, in my opinion, are some puzzles that must be solved exactly as the programmers intended and its lack of replayability, since there are no choices or challenges beyond what the game presents. Even so, its script makes it very entertaining. Despite its shortcomings, following the story makes it worthwhile.

This War of Mine7
Mar 24, 2026
TWoM is a game designed to make you feel bad; it's not really fun. After all, war isn't fun. Given that, it doesn't make things easy for the player at all. The problem is that it doesn't get many things right in its programming, resulting in a series of arbitrary or inconsistent events (mainly related to illness or emotions). The assignment of activities is clunky, and the gameplay is quite rigid. The AI makes the characters into simple zombies who don't do anything on their own. If there's anything positive about the game, it's that it might appeal to sensitive players. I recommend this game because it's a challenge... a mechanical challenge. You routinely repeat what its gameplay offers until the game arbitrarily ends (it has no plot, no character development, except for the war outside through what's reported on the radio), and the challenge of preventing the Tamagotchis from dying has been created. The most interesting aspect of the game is its difficulty: Resource management must be meticulous due to scarcity. The game's concept is interesting. However, it shifts from being purely fun to a challenging experience where the player struggles to survive. The AI is poor; the characters are essentially avatars with virtually no capabilities. The game doesn't allow for assigning specific tasks, making it quite repetitive. Inventory management is impractical. It functions like a locker and has no impact on the character carrying it. Trading works similarly, limiting the number of items that can be exchanged, regardless of their value. Characters can be injured or sick arbitrarily. This is a clumsy way to add difficulty.

Crisol: Theater of Idols4
Mar 20, 2026
It feels like two different games in one: one with a fantastic atmosphere, and another that completely ruins the experience with its awful gunplay—damage to enemies is poorly represented—the bad weapon balance, and the repetitive, uninspiring gameplay. It's a shame they didn't focus on the essentials, because it has potential for a sequel. Atmosphere: 7.
Gunplay: 3.
Gameplay: 4. Poor.

The Bureau: XCOM Declassified10
Aug 27, 2013
If the developers had not called XCOM then critics had been benevolent. Maybe they expected a common shooter like BF or COD, but They were surprised because it was a tactical action game. The AI is high quality, because the enemies react as they should, although sometimes surprising reactions from teammates. I totally recommend it.

Dishonored2

As a dear friend said: "This is the Frankestein of the videgames, it takes parts of another games (The Thief, Deus Ex, Bioshock) and does not do a serious story like those". I say: Many game makers just wait for sale success instead quality success.

Dead Island8
Sep 25, 2012
