Cyberpunk 20776

Cyberpunk is delvers impressively from a story and world perspective. The attention to detail in these regards is generally exceptional. There's a few spots where the specific events are rather confusing because the CDPR cut part of the quest out and they never went back to remove it. But those events are few and far between. the way they integrate Johnny silverhands was unique and well done. Voice Acting: There is SOoooo much voice acting and most of it is well done. I noticed the man behind Johnny Silverhands wasn't the best voice actor in the universe... but let's be honest here. Did ya expect anything different? I mean you've seen at least one of his movies right? The only thing that surprises me here is that people we're surprised by KR's voice acting. While the voice acting added to immersion it also removed some as well. Because you no longer have a running log of what was said and what you said on the screen... It can be difficult to fully appreciate the choices your making. Polish: This game just wasn't... at all. There's so many bugs in so many places I'm amazed it was released in this state. I understand games will have bugs... but this is extreme. Combat: This can be quite a bit of fun however some of the coolest stuff is locked behind leveling. Getting headshots, mid air, with enemies all around you with time slowed down is deeply satisfying. There's also various weapon modifications that can change how you approach various situations. Progression: hard felt like it was hard, partly because I didn't realize I was supposed to be questing in a different part of town. Anyhoo, You can feel you're character is getting better in the world in which they exist. non-linear story: They get some points deducted here because you generally have no idea if your choice actually made a difference. From what I've read it IS possible to change the outcome but it's not obvious to me, at all, while playing the game. Every time I've save scummed, ON MANY QUESTS, the outcome is almost always the same. AI: there is almost 0 intelligence to anything AI related. Some of the worst I've ever seen... ever. NPC's on the streets are clearly an after thought. Car AI behaves as if they were made by a college student in a last ditch effort to pass a class. CP gets an F here. Crafting: They didn't play test this enough. Who the hell thinks it's ok to click and hold the craft button, wait 1 second.. then rinse and repeat that literally 100's of times.. WTF. pure cancer. CP gets a C here because crafting is cool and it does add to the game... it just needs some QOL. Breaching: This is pretty cool, had a ton of fun with it. I wish you could do more with it but I'll take what I can get. CP gets an A- here. Balance: It's clearly not. The stats are multiplicative and no recalculated from the base... I'm not sure if I have a problem with this so I'm not going to grade it. TBH, It's fun thinking about the different types of characters you can build because of this. Economy: It's a static economy and I didn't expect anything more (I mean why is that need in an RPG?). Trading: They get an F here. Jesus guys, So many QOL's missing on this. I don't want to trade equipped items, so don't list em by default. there's no quick sell for the kajillion items you have. You might argue that QOLs aren't that important but lets be honest here. When it comes to trading, beyond making an integer move up or down, it's all QOL. Pace: the game tries to rush you due to the story, I don't think it actually makes good on that threat but it's still kinda annoying. Why didn't you guy's say thing X will cause extreme problems for you 1 year from now.. That was a pretty foolish imo. Weapons: so you get pistols, machine guns, snipers, and shotguns. there's alot of different types of those weapons mentioned. It'd be nice if there was some more imaginative weapons? like a bouncy bomb, how about a beam weapon? How about an acid soaker? a flame thrower? a taser? sure, you have weapon effects that will shock or start people on **** you don't have weapons that throw fire or emit electricity visually. If you're looking for the next GTA, keep looking. If you're looking for a great rpg, you should buy this game.

It's not just like pillars of eternity ... at all. It's short, incomplete and unbalanced. It has the makings of an amazing game and has a great story. A generally unexplored perspective that leaves the player at a cliff hanger. I'm just going to go down the list of all the reasons on why you shouldn't play/buy this game. - it's short for an RPG and even shorter when you consider the price at release - the classes are insanely unbalanced. I won't say which because "spoilers". - there's a tiny number of side quests. - Additionally, there are no side quests exploring your companions unless you purchase the DLC. Admittedly, there's quite a bit of dialogue that one can choose to have (AND SHOULD) to understand them better. - the spires were either an afterthought or incomplete. It's so obvious it hurts. - despite how this game is advertised.. It's fairly linear. - Complexity and difficulty were lacking. - First playthrough was 18 hours and I tried to stretch it as far as I could. There's some replay value to this game and I'll probably do it again just to explore the other major faction. But judging by the first playthrough, I doubt it'll add much value. - It felt like they were trying to pull an EA. And by that I mean, release an unfinished game and make more money off of several DLCs. I thought Paradox was better than that. 0_0 I don't know how this got a 7.8... It doesn't deserve it, tops this is a 6 out of 10. There is some good in this game. - I enjoyed the story. - I enjoyed the thought of using the spires. - I loved the companions and their back stories. I hated how EA, eerrr I mean, Paradox didn't' exploit that. - I enjoyed the concept of archons and what role they played in the world. - I love RPGs in general. Don't buy this game.

This game is bad, real bad. The good: Massive scale fast paced rts simple to play the bad: Super imbalanced, It's like the devs spent exactly 0 seconds balancing this game... More than half of the units are useless Titans and god weapons are so absurd OP AI is awful pathing is worse than most games made 20 years ago I don't know... it's just a bad game. I'm happy that they delivered on creating something and I would recommend this for LAN games against HUMANS only. I would also set some verbal rules like (don't create any titans, don't create second level artillery) because all of this is SOOOOO game breaking imbalanced. Seriously don't buy this game unless you're playing at LAN party :).

Total War: Rome II3

I'm late to the game on writing this review, but I just want to make sure no one wastes their money needlessly. This game is OK at best. It's not terrible, but you'd be better of just buying the original RTW. The interface on this game was designed by Helen Keller. Which means truly few things come intuitively and all these interface and control issues show their wicked teeth during battle. I have no Fing idea what my troops are doing. I just don't. There's almost no facilities in the game to show me what they're doing. I'm constantly, CONSTANTLY accidentally moving my troops. That alone is a good enough reason for me not to play this game. The camera issues existed with the old version of Rome total war but I managed... for over 400 hours of gameplay. I've played this game for maybe 20 hours, but I knew the camera was **** within the first few seconds while I was trying to stage my troops for a battle. YOU JUST CAN'T ZOOM OUT FAR ENOUGH. WHY WOULD DO THAT!!!?!>?! WHY!>!>!> wtf is wrong with you morons. seriously? Trying to get your troops to stay in formation is actually impossible with RTW2. It's just so sad how they managed to screw up something so fundamental. Why is this important? Well, it guts the S out of RTS(Real Time Strategy ), because your formation is what you use to: - form a defensive line - flank the enemy - regroup in a **** fashion - be able to actually watch the battle instead of a big blob of troops the pathing and combat in this game is comically bad. about 10 percent of your troops follow your orders, about 30 percent are tripping on LSD, the rest are just sitting in the back wondering where the hell they are. They nailed morale in the first version of RTW, MOST of the time, units ran away because they were suffering truly terrible causalities. In RTW2, if someone, somewhere, does something (this includes baking a cake), your army will surly flee. I didn't really enjoy the ability to select how your general leveled up. It just doesn't make sense... think about it. If you're general inherently enslaves the people he captures... that would give him personality and leadership traits of a slaver. My question... should I have to select that trait now that he leveled up or should he just get those traits because HE'S ALREADY DOING THEM. Leveling in RTW was superior in every possible way to RTW2. The political aspect is slightly more mature imo with RTW2. That said, no one cares.... It's an RTS and the banner on every one of these games says "Total War". I wonder who your target audience is? They must care about fictional politics a lot... or maybe they prefer the RTS part of RTS. Pretty disappointing game... I don't think people should buy this.
