Through and through, a Bethesda quality RPG set in space. Take that as you may. The exploration isn't as seamless or as 'free' as it was made out to be before the games release, but the Starfield universe does have an absurd amount of content and things to discover, it just doesn't in the way people expected it to. It is not a universe simulator. It is just a Bethesda game. Set in space. That's it. If you've liked previous Bethesda titles and think space travel is cool, you'll probably like this game.
