Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater7
Nov 26, 2025
Gotta say, the new Snake Eater looks amazing. The graphics upgrade is wild — the jungle feels alive, and the updated controls make sneaking around way smoother than the old **** honestly? I kinda wish Konami had the guts to go all in and rebuild it like a proper modern remake. It’s super faithful, maybe too faithful. Feels more like a remaster with a shiny coat of paint than a full reimagining.Still, it’s a solid way to experience one of the best stories in gaming. Just wish they took a few more risks — Snake deserves that much.

It is not perfect, but I love that Capcom is willing to try something new, and this game feels very fresh gameplaywise

Terrible port! I can deal with the dated graphics and poor optimization, but a game-breaking bug in the last chapter killed my save, totally ruining the whole experience for me."

I really liked how they mixed in a bunch of RPG stuff in the game and being able to tweak my playstyle was awesome. The game looks good, runs well, has loads of cool stuff to do, and the story is solid. But, I gotta say, the whole Atreus part didn't quite hit the mark for me. Kratos' fights are epic, but Atreus' gameplay feels off, like it's from a whole other game. The story and dialogues just didn't grab me, and Atreus' fights were kinda meh and boring. Plus, Atreus himself wasn't very likable. If they make a sequel, Sony, please don't make Atreus the protagonist.

The combat system is undoubtedly a significant improvement over P5 and traditional turn-based RPGs as a whole. The Unreal 5 graphics are also impressive, and the story is as good as you can expect from a JRPG. However, there are a few pacing issues in the late game, and the difficulty increases significantly, requiring grinding to reach an optimal level and classes. Despite these flaws, it remains an excellent JRPG in recent years.

Metro Awakening VR7

This is undoubtedly one of the best VR games on the market; however, if it were a flat screen game, it would be lackluster. The graphics and atmosphere are top-notch, truly delivering the immersive metro feel that players want. The gunplay is solid, adding to the overall experience. Yet, beyond chapter 5, the game loses its momentum. The repetitive use of recycled maps, endless corridors, and the frustrating ghost encounters in the late game kill the overall experience. Perhaps these limitations are due to the constraints of the Quest 2 hardware. If a sequel is in the works, I hope it will aim to meet the standards set by flat screen Metro games.

Plot is very generic, and the game is woke as hell, but the combat is very good, graphics and map are beautiful. So, I will still give it an 8.

People say this game is like Zelda and I do agree, but the puzzle part is just not so great in this game. Almost half of the puzzle feels like a chore to do rather than fun. The boss fights on the other hand are the best part of this game. I think I have just forced myself to get through the puzzles just to get to those fights, they are truly epic, and I have yet to find any other game that has done it this good. Overall, this is a good attempt to standalone AAA game. I have spent 28 hours to beat it, but I feel like a lot of it are just padding. If I just count all the good parts, this game is like 10 hours.

Combats are fun and challenging, taking down enormous machines is very satisfying. Graphics is awesome, exploring in this beautiful map is a joy. I really love the underwater city part, it wows me. The story is pretty bland though, characters are uninteresting generally. Plus, all those woke stuffs that were forced into this game makes me think that the developers and the writer were not taking this game very seriously. I had to skip through a lot of the dialogs to keep myself from falling asleep. Also, the game is a bit too grindy for me. All of those upgrades, challenges and side quests are getting way too repetitive in mid-late game. It could have been an easy 8 or 9 without the above issues, what a shame. Hope the next game gets better.

Same old ****! After so many yakuza games you would think that they would come up with something new but NO!! They still give you the same old map which you have played at least 7 times before in the old yakuza games. Combat is just as boring as ever. The only good thing about this game is the plot with the new detective narrative but even that gets old half way through the game. Overall it feels like a lazy attempt from saga to recycle old games and resell it as new.

Great game design. Hard to believe the game was originally made 30 years ago, but I wish this remade would give us some additional tips so we don't have to spend so much time backtracking.

I had very low expectation for this game. I thought I could still enjoy it a little while waiting for other AAA titles to release, but I was wrong. The story, characters, missions are boring as expected, but the most disappointing thing is the combat. They put a a health bar on top of every enemies like a rpg game so one head shot isn't enough to kill an enemy. That make this into a very slow paced game and make it even more boring than it already is.

I didn't like any of the soul games but this one is an exception because it gives players options to summons and find good gears when they are stuck with a hard boss. This alone makes the game so much more enjoyable for me.

The system is overly-complicated, can't complete the game without looking up for guides. Power-leveling /money grinding is also a must. The world is huge and it does look epic at times but it just isn't rewarding enough to keep me exploring. What I like is the music, its awesome throughout game. Also, adding mechs battle keeps the second half of the game fresh and that is what make this game very unique to others.

Why the hell would they put a health bar on the enemies heads like those stupid loot shooters? That's not what we want from a FC game! I thought this is suppose to be a sequels of FC5, but they have changed the gameplay so much that it doesn't feel like a FC game at all. Now I feel like I am shooting with toy guns.
