The Blacklist: Season 19

I really like the actors and writing. The plot seems to be solid. It gives you enough info each week to show there is some depth to the storyline. I find it entertaining, well acted and good writing.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D: Season 13

The writing reminds me of a disney show. Every is bickering like teenagers. The show is just silly and all the characters are unoriginal. It's not a good show.

The Crazy Ones: Season 14

Two words to describe this whole episode...PRODUCT PLACEMENT. This show was about McDonalds trying to rebrand itself in light of all the negative publicity and Kelly Clarkston trying to get her name out there some more. Robin Williams was typical Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar was not good at all. The writing was horrible and the acting bad. The show was 20 minutes and I couldn't wait for it to get over. The whole storyline has been done a thousand times by a thousand different shows.

Monday Mornings: Season 13
Feb 21, 2013
This show is bad for many reasons. The main reason is the premise of the show is completely unbelievable. Surgeons are not going to let themselves be grilled in a condescending way in front of their peers nor would legal allow it. Next, the writing is awful. The story lines are just cheesy and unbelievable while trying to be sappy and dramatic. My wife and I said to each other throughout the first two episodes, "This is just stupid." There is maybe one character I like but the rest are either too one dimensional and type cast or unrealistic like the Asian character that speaks in broken English like he's Yoda. The only good would be that some of the filming is artistic, but I'm not sure why. Overall, it's just a bad show.

The Newsroom: Season 11
Oct 26, 2012
This show reminds me of the arguments people have in their heads. They never lose those arguments because they create lopsided points and make their opponents like idiots. This show is one straw man argument after another. The lead character is a republican/moderat/democrat that simply does not exist. It's the same thing that use to happen on West Wing. The writer (Sorkin) has no idea how to really create a republican candidate because he doesn't understand the republican mindset. Every character is the exact same style just representing a caricature of a real issue and then they go from one dramatic speech to another. Unrealistic dialogue. Unrealistic events. Trying to make news reporting way more dramatic and important than it really is. Just silly.

Scandal: Season 14
Oct 26, 2012
The show started out with promise, but it has been reduced to a show where everyone shouts condescending speeches at each other. There are a few just whiny and awful characters that need to go. The main characters are good if they could have better writing. I hope the show gets back to a more realistic dialogue.

Terra Nova: Season 13

The first episode was simply boring. There was nothing new about it. The actors were bland, storyline pointless and very little mystery to it. I wasn't even blown away with the special effects. The most intense parts of the show didn't engage me. I couldn't care less about who lived or died. I'm not sure how much longer I could watch a show like this.
