I buy COD every year for my kids. I'm 37 years old now. I personally play most games on PC in a competitive clan. I stopped playing the most recent (Since WAW) COD Xbox releases after about rank 20 in MP. I do enjoy the SP campaigns though and getting achievements. I bought an XBOX One pretty much just for this COD: AW. I wanted to see if there was physics/controls/graphics improvements that would allow me to get back into paying MP on a console. After my first 4 hours of MP I think we have a winner. But here's how I play: 1) Only Hardcore 2) Only Objective/team based play 3) Usually with all players muted 4) I play to win, not for KD I play my way, and that involves attacking and defending objectives. Being as tactical as possible to help my team, knowing that I'll still get shot in the back regularly, and killed by those who are faster/twitchier than I. And you know what, I'm having a blast doing it. It has met or exceeded my expectations. I wish the maps were bigger and had less choke points - but otherwise I am very happy. The controller feels great too. Better than PS4 or 360, but still pales in comparison to a keyboard and mouse.

A true joy to play. Takes full advantage of the PS Vita features such as it's cameras and rear touch pad. Played the first two levels right next to my 10 year old as a sort of bed time story last night for both of us. Beautiful, fun, engaging. What more could you ask for in a game?

Myself and a handful of BF3 clan mates have established our Region and are spending a lot of time working together in SimCity learning the ropes together and cursing the ocassional Godzilla or Zombie attack that tears apart what we worked so hard to build. You will find yourself lost in the city and it's management and next thing you know it'll be 3am in the morning and you have hardly got up out of your gaming PC chair all night. Graphics are excellent, sound is perfect and alive. There's no plop it down and forget it. You must plan for adding jail cells and dispatch centers to your police station. You must watch where you plan your water pumping station based on water tables. And dont' get me started on healthcare. My sims are always ill and need more patient wings to my hospitals. I think I have a sewage/trash/nuclear radiation problem I need to go take care of right now. Still after only 2 sessions my city has nearly 200k fairly happy Sims with a 79% approval rating. Get this game, you won't regret it if you are a modern gaming with realistic expectations of what gaming is today. It's not a solo experience, at least not for me. And I woudn't want it to be. I don't care what DRM is or means, doesn't seem to be affecting my enjoyment, whatever it is. And BTW, no technical issues here on my end.

Battlefield 3: Aftermath

Aftermath DLC for PC takes BF3 up a notch; most noticeably by the inclusion of 4 new maps that are the best produced in BF3, and up there with the best Battlefield Series maps. They are medium sized maps that are maybe slightly smaller than Karkand, but much bigger than Grand Bazaar. Helo's, Tanks and new transport vehicles are also included. The new CrossBow weapon is a novelty - but once you unlock the various bolt ammo - it adds functions to your 4 kit loadouts that they would otherwise not have while only taking an equipment slot and not having to be your primary weapon. Playing the new game mode "Scavenger" is a fun way to unlock it. Scavenger allows you do "find" weapons on the map or you must use only your kits pistol and knife. The weapons range from lvl. 1 PP-2000 to powerful M-Tars and AKs. The CrossBow can be found. Otherwise scavenger is simply a Conquest. In closing this DLC is what DLC should be all about. Keeping a game fresh and fun nearly a year after release. BF3 Aftermath is something EA/Dice should be proud of.

Granted I only played the first level myself, and then my kids took over and enjoyed it from there. But it works, it's novel and the game and peripheral works well. The characters are nice HD looking and the levels are cute. I am very satisfied I shelled out $100 bucks for the starter pack, and 4 extra characters. I have a feeling we'll be looking to collect the other 23 over time.

Most amazing FPS experience ever. Running 4 servers w/ my PC clan mates who are BF2 and BC2 veterans. We are 60+ members strong and are all enjoying the MP immensely. =HOG= is our clan. I won't give it a 10 because nothing is perfect. Some things need addressed, but certainly DICE released us a working game that's a lot of fun and has amazing graphics and sound.

Pitching is a blast. My experience so far is a bit short and mixed. Started with an online match with a relative overseas and it was unplayable, we quit after 3 innings. Too much pitching lag. Granted we were halfway across the globe from each other. (US and Singapore). Then I started a "my player" career. It's pretty fun and should be rewarded as I see it through. Seems identicle to "Road to the Show" mode in Sony's PS3 game. Then I drafted a franchise and started the season only to have the game lock up on me and freeze my Xbox. Techsupport has not responded to me in 6 days on that issue. Then I started a franchise with the Cincinnati Reds and had a good time setting the team up and playing the frist game. I lost, Prince Fielder hit 2 3-run HRs off me. Then I played a game of the "MLB Today" mode, CWS vs. CLV opening day. That was fun too, I won on Konerko and Dunn HRs and Buerrle was lights out. So like I said, very mixed. 2 bad experiences, 2 good experiences and a bad tech support experience. I won't comment on graphics/stutter and minor bugs. They are well documented in the MLB2K forums and likely will be fixed with a future patch. .

So I DL'd it on steam, 9GB and it took around 2 hours. Within minutes I was playing. I played about 5 MP matches first, then the entire first SP level. In MP I went 34-16 in those matches and ranked up to lvl. 6. SP was engaging and fun. MP was a blast. Played 4 on 4 for a bit then 16 on 16. Only tried assault kit. But used perks like BMP, HUMVEE and my favorite, Hellfire missiles. Once you save up 1100 Battle points you get 2 shots with the Hellfire. I only missed twice and say I'm about 8/10 with it. There is a comma rose for spotting and stuff, there are squads but I couldn't see how to spawn on the squad. Maps are a mix of big and small, most cool thing about them is tons of cover, in and outside of buildings and tons of ladders to climb and get elevated positions. Graphics look great, I'm running all on medium at 1440x900 10:9 aspect. Set up my controls exactly like BC2. Prone and crouch sprint and knife are all the same. I was typically in the top 2-5 on the server. I saw many clans already turning up their servers. But most were like KAOS #101 etc. What else? There's no destruction, but considering how softly and thoughtfully you want to move around in this game, that is cool. Most of my kills came from finding a good cover spot with my back protected and just killing idiots who ran runnin' and gunnin' like they were playing COD. I really liked the fact that in TDM and BattleGround you never had to worry about a guy spawning behind you, it kept the maps separated by troop concentration for safe spawning. I never got spawn camped, and almost always knew what and who killed me and why. First 3 hours impression.... I want to play more, but gotta get to work soon. I found nothing too odd or glitchey. At one point in MP my controls went screwy, like my crosshairs kept wanting to point in the air on their own, so I restarted the game and it was fine. At another point in one map i couldn't jump up a little one foot step like it was a map error or something. Overall I'd find it hard to comparing it to BC2, BF2 or COD. It's kinda it's own thing, a little bit of all of them. Collecting those points and spending them on cool **** is easy, just watch the little meter on the right and when you get 1100 press 4 for Hellfire, or if you want to spend 250 you get 3 AT rockets. They **** vs. infantry though, or I don't know how to shoot them. Of course all that is cutomizable, I unlocked other things like flack jackets and UAV drones that I didn't even load out with yet. I'd say at 4am there was about 600 to 1000 people playing online. I am ranked 1256th on the leader board. Anyway ramble complete. If U get the game, you'll likely enjoy it. At least the first 3 hours. Who knows where it goes from here.

I am a parent and new to MMORPGs. My 7-year old son and I play the TT Lego games on Xbox and DS, and of course buy and build the toys. After 4 days playing online it has been nothing short of spectacular. The plotline/story makes a lot of sense and is even intriguing. Flying around on your rocket you visit shard worlds of the Lego Universe and defeat the evil forces that are trying to kill imagination. There is always something to do, or some achievement / rank up you are working towards. Collecting blocks, taming pets and customizing your 4 mini-figures is the best part for us. It took 3 hours to nearly complete the first couple worlds and join a faction for each character. 16 hours in 4 days and we have barely scratched the surface of what this game has to offer. Itâ
