Minimal story, loads of racing and surprisingly good handling/physics, the customisation isn't too bad and you can tune a fair bit if you want to, which definitely helps with the drifting. The music isn't the kind of stuff I'd go out of my way to listen to but I don't mind it at all, bass heavy varieties of electronic music. Definitely worth the price even though there are holdovers from the mobile game, stuff which I guess would have been microtransactions or time gated, gladly everything is purchasable through the in game currency and there isn't the option to pay to win which is always a good thing. I'd recommend it even though it looks like it is going to be at least a distance grind if you're a trophy hunter, could have been way more trophies too for stuff like road discovery and purchasing all house etc. Slightly more in depth livery customisation and more options in the photo mode would have been nice, and I don't get why tyre wear is a thing as I haven't noticed it affecting the handling in anyway, overall you'll definitely get your money's worth for £25.

You get the hang of it relatively quickly, and the Icons and many other things are pretty similar or exactly like American Fugitive, I assume a bunch of those guys made this, even though it's a different developer name.

The Last Stand: Aftermath8

It grows on you, you become overly familiar and sometimes create epic moments and sometimes look like an idiot for dying lol It can be a deceptively long platinum if you're unlucky, I'm on my second playthrough after getting the platinum on my main account a year or so ago, I'm replaying games where the platinum was relatively enjoyable on an alt account so on that basis I'd recommend it. The mechanics make sense relatively quickly so stick with it.

The look and sound are pretty good, and the handling makes sense once you get the hang of it. The game overall feels dull after a while though, the red diamond times may break me too, even with all assists turned off lol worth the lower price point but overly repetitive relatively quickly.

Pretty good, but the wokeness kind of ruins it in parts.

RIDE 56

Ride 5 looks and feels better, I got the game 3 days early and decided to go for the platinum, the grind is almost unbearably monotonous and the game has had various patches that don't seem to make it possible to complete, and 1 actually made it way worse. The endurance races are hit and miss if it puts you down to 20th from 1st and sometimes the races won't even finish, I know a few people pretty much have 1 trophy left and at least 1 unobtainable time trial is impossible to get within a few seconds of the bronze time. I would have been done with the game by now had it been playable from start to finish, but here we are, waiting around for patches, I know some people have brute forced it but I'm not willing to repeat an endurance race multiple times hoping "this is the time it will actually work as intended". I f you're a casual player I'd recommend it as I'm sure by the time you get to the potential problems they will have been fixed, but still totally unimpressed with the day 1 until now experience.

Not a bad game, looks good, plays well, the only downside is the in game economy, avoid if you think this will be an easy platinum. You get 70 coins for winning a race, which will mainly be online against a few people that can't take an L or complain when they try to crash you and they come off worse lol 70 coins for winning a race which can take seconds or up to 5 minutes, and you need to have earned 100,000 for a trophy, and the gears are worse! The single player is fairly short and I imagine a large amount of people won't be able to get the unleashed time in a lot of the time trials.

TT Isle of Man: Ride On The Edge9

I don't understand why the user reviews are so low? I suppose it's people just giving it a go and expecting loads to do. I've played ride 1 and 2 and tourist trophy on the ps2 a fair bit, this game has good handling and graphics and a good sense of speed, makes you appreciate the real riders even more. Haven't started the career yet but have done a few laps of the TT course and it's definitely not an easy game, even though I have automatic gears and medium brakes/wheelie/stoppie etc. If you like a challenge and like bikes, it's worth having in your collection. will have to try it using the psvr as a screen too I think, even though it's scary enough on a t.v.!
