the second feature film of ari aster was a downer for me. sure it has some good actings and cinematic values and brings something to the table for the horror genre, it lacks the climax that aster was able to pull off by the end of hereditary

dont get me wrong, this is definitely a movie to watch, and dicaprio plays extraordinary as always and the cinematography is revolutionary. but its the screenplay and the whole story that seems irrelevant to such brilliant acting and cinematography.

at first, the movie is strange, and it stays that way till the end. but as simple as it seems, the mindset behind it and what von trier sees in people, makes you more human and gets you thinking and maybe crying at the same time. prepare for a non-traditional romantic drama to watch.

the last of the golden heart trilogy is a beautiful sad take on a the life of a woman so gorgeous inside and out that you can't feel anything but empathy and sorrow throughout the film. it's so personal that you actually feel hurt during and after watching the movie.

this is specially a good one. it starts magnificently and shows us the odd mind of von trier and how he sees the world on a surreal journey.

one of the greatest movies I've seen my whole life. 3 hours worth every second. a one-of-a-kind film that makes you reevaluate whats good and whats bad and leaves you with so many emotions and sometimes helps you through it. I envy the people who haven't watched it yet, cause they have one of the most especiall 3 hours of their life to come.
