Seasons 1 and 2 were excellent. I didn't connect with the last two seasons; they took the show to the bottom of the Mariana trench.

This show follows the sit-com style, but that doesn't mean that it's dated or irrelevant. The characters will inspire you, make you cry, and frustrate you at times. Excellent acting, especially from Justina Machado! Themes that are frequently discussed in the show:

This show is probably the most thought-provoking, emotional, and intense show that I've ever seen. Not only are the characters lovable and relatable, but they are also SO dynamic. I've probably laugh-cried at least 20 times because of this show.
