The plot itself was to my liking but the movie itself was comparable to Underworld. I prefer Blade over Underworld on both their debuts as a series. I have yet to see the sequels of either though. The costume was much more nicer in Underworld and I enjoyed the Vampire's sophistication in that movie but the action was much more in Blade by Snipes.
This movie was not entirely boring but it was pointless. I was looking for something to not have to think too much about while watching, and this is one of those movies for sure. It didn't really have much funny moments but I did like the messages of the movie about love, money, and happiness.
After watching Mission Impossible 4, and seeing Tom Cruise in action - this film had a similar vibe. Their was lots of action and his quirky personality involved. Although for some reason I have never been able to get myself to like him or Cameron Diaz. I decided to watch it anyway, and it was a fun action packed movie. I wouldn't say the plot or characters and all things else had any deep meaning I seek in movies though.
This movie is fairly interesting. Having had late night anxiety attacks at one point in my life - I totally know what Crank intended to be depicting with the constant need of adrenaline activity to keep yourself going. Although I have to say without Statham this movie would be nothing but a joke.
This movie was one of the best movies I've seen in 2011. It had a lot of action, politics and interesting use of gadgets. This movie was well worth the time and experience. I'm not a fan of Tom Cruise but he should take more roles with a Russian costume - it fits perfectly.
This movie could have been made more exciting ... It was interesting to watch.. and exposed interested information regarding the electric cars. I'd like to see how TESLA does in this game in the coming years - will it knock out the major competitors that initiated and killed its own electric cars that could have been great for everyone except those with a vested financial interest over all things else.
I'm not sure where the comedy was since its the genre I found this movie in. Expecting to laugh I was led into a drama of a movie that didn't make any sense. The story seemed to have had good points but overall the movie didn't piece together. Let alone, the genre and the description of the movie was not fitting - seemed very unorganized and lacking creativity.
The story wasn't the best, the action was great. Costume and accents where something new as I'm not a fan of the western style movies, but this was not that - it was a gangster style movie. Christian Bale did a great job for his character...
I really enjoyed this movie. I am now a fan of Natalie Portman - who played both naughty and nice in the same movie pertaining to her actual role as black swan. The movie left me confused in many parts but I do understand its use of psychology of those that delve into perfectionism. This movie was not something I looked forward to watching - but I'm glad I did.

There seems to have been a lot that was skipped in the life of a wrestler but this covered more than enough and exposed the many myths against wrestling and wrestlers. In also explains their chaotic lives in terms of how wrestling affects them. Memorable moments include the self slicing for blood (myth holds that its fake blood); constant travel means severed relationships of families and more closer to a group amongst wrestlers as family; and ofcourse the nature of taking steroids (health abuse) just to entertain since it becomes addictive. I was a wrestling fan as a child - not having watched it for about 8years now this was a refresher for me. Well done movie - felt like a documentary of a real wrestler rather than a movie.
I've been watching a lot of movies with young girls being used for the scare effect. I've seen many that utilize the overdone demonic-psychosis debate. If this movie was compared to the exorcism movies (Last Exorcism and Exorcism of Emily Rose) this movie is not worth watching. It seems to be along the same lines though. I didn't find this horrifying and it didn't keep me thrilled either.
After the first hour the movie lagged. The movie drew me in though at the beginning literally being too funny to fathom how they imitated the horror genre.
I liked the costumes, tabla-music every two seconds and the filming location (desert). Other than that, the story (concept) was too sci-fi for me. I did not follow along with this movie. The movie kept you in suspense. Watching it in the theaters is the only way to enjoy this movie. Now basing it on experience in a theater and having an great night out with my wife watching this suspenseful comedy movie (because it is nothing more than comedy) I give it a 10 for the heartbeats it delivers. This movie focused on the girl who would have sex and avoid emotional commitment due to her personal emotional reasons of being unstable. She ends up falling in love with this guy who was suppose to be a one night stand. The movie focuses on sex as an outlet of emotional anxiety and as well unravels the turmoils of being diseased and believing no one will love you because of it. I was left quite entertained throughout and it was a good change to the commonly anticipated romantic comedies.
This movie was given a 3 star rating for its comedy. As a horror or thriller movie it fails miserably especially considering we're in 2011. This felt like a movie made that could have been made and become popular in the 90's. This would be useful to a psychology student to watch and see the neurotic behavior of an individual who believes they are being chased by a ghost - but the fact the movie was called paranormal activity and had unexplained events - it fail's to even make that category. The only way I can see this movie having had any effect was in a theater with large sound-effects of door's screeching and big bangs. Lagged to an extreme. I have a hard time understanding how this movie became popular or critically acclaimed - now that's paranormal.
This movie keeps you interested and entertained. Their was nothing extremely memorable about the movie but this movie pointed out a lot of possible stupidity that the government may be functioning on from the intelligence agencies to the president. The movie poked fun at many things but I found it to be more of an exposing of some situations that are not always as it seems. I had a negative expectation with this movie hearing so much about it. I am not a fan of Ashton Kutcher on top of all that. I gave it a shot, I have to say, the movie was quite intriguing. It did keep you entertained following his mess of a life that is influencing his traumatized life to the point of neuroticism.
