A first- or second-date flick, after which there can be some Cheesecake Factory and maybe a peck on the cheek, no harm done. What Happens in Vegas is pleasant enough for all of that (and it sidesteps all that "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" raunch).

Sadly, about the nicest thing I can say about What Happens in Vegas is that I didn't hate it - although I suppose that's something.

Before the Hangover, there was What Happens In Vegas. It didn't get the same cult following simply because it was billed as a romantic comedy, but it was almost as funny and has a cameo by Zach Galifinakis. The story is about a couple of friends getting drunk and hooking up in Vegas. After a drunken marriage, Diaz and Kutcher gamble, winning 3 million dollars. They go to court, being that they want and divorce and don't wanna split it, and the judge played by Dennis Miller puts the money in escrow, forcing the couple to live together for 6 months. That's when they find out how different they really are. This movie is hysterical, fun, and much better than the previews which by no means do it justice. If you like comedy and you enjoyed the Hangover, check it out!

I was surprised to see such bad reviews for this one, i liked it, i thought it was great. It was funny all the way through, and i think it deserved much better reviews than it got.

It's a story that feels familiar at best, hackneyed at worst, which is surprising and disappointing, as director Tom Vaughan also made last year's "Starter for 10," a charming British coming-of-age comedy.

While Diaz and Kutcher make their clichéd characters as likable as possible, you can bet on this: Any movie named after an already-stale ad campaign isn't likely to gamble on the unexpected.

The screenplay by Dana Fox (she was one of the rewriters of "27 Dresses") devolves into a series of humiliating pranks that always give the upper narrative hand to the male lead. Talk about depressing. I mean, that's what male screenwriters are for--to unfairly stack the deck against the female leads.

Because its director, Tom Vaughan, brings nothing of interest to the movie, including filmmaking, there isn't anything to say other than to note its insulting ugliness and ineptitude.

What Happens in Vegas. Happy marriage! A very interesting comedy from Tom Vaughan! The two main stars of the film, Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher, portrayed their characters well. The story itself is of course incredibly funny, but at the same time it adds a little drama to the picture. The hero Jack Fuller (Ashton Kutcher) wants to prove to everyone that he is no longer a boy and can be responsible, but at the same time continues to be this boy. Joy McNally (Cameron Diaz) is also trying to prove to everyone that she is not as boring as everyone sees her and whether she succeeds or not, of course, you can find out by watching the wonderful comedy “What Happens in Vegas”.

This movie was not entirely boring but it was pointless. I was looking for something to not have to think too much about while watching, and this is one of those movies for sure. It didn't really have much funny moments but I did like the messages of the movie about love, money, and happiness.

This movie is so stupid in almost every way. Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher have pretty bad character development due to what immature idiots they play. They don't make a very good couple either. The gags, the jokes, and the dialogue is stupidly sexist and vulgar.
