A film of great hilarity, humanity, idiosyncrasy and grade-A, eyebrow-singeing raunch.

From the first overheated moments of Bridesmaids...it's clear we're in for that rarest of treats: an R-rated romantic comedy from the Venus point of view.

10 years on and I still think this is one of the best films of the ensemble cast comedy genre. Its witty and fast paced but still has a heart. The characters are charming and believable and the film portrays each individual with thought; each archetype goes beyond simply being in the story to assist the plot, it is evident that each character has it's own story. The character of Helen is excellent and serves as the "love to hate" character, and Kristen Wiig's Annie is the perfect underdog character, but not without her own flaws. This is a must watch, and deserves to be rated amongst classic comedies.

No matter how many times I watch this movie it just never gets old. One of the best comedies. Period.

The movie is smart about a lot of things, including the vital importance of female friendships. And it's nice to see so many actresses taking up space while making fun of something besides other women.

Wiig has the natural beauty and self-deprecating expressiveness it takes to be a star comedienne; she spends much of Bridesmaids looking like a slightly girlier version of Lucinda Williams.

Wiig's natural and savvy instincts to go easy, and let the audience come to her, serve her and Bridesmaids well.

If this sounds like a typical date movie, worry not. It's very much an Apatow production-though the crasser additions, like his already-notorious food poisoning scene, feel painfully forced.

By the time two hours had dragged by, I felt a lot like I had sat through a five-hour wedding.

Very funny, Kristen Wiig is hilarious and so is Rose Byrne. I recommend this for everyone who wants a laugh.

O filme é bom porém genérico, as vezes arranca uma risada singela e muitos momentos que te dão extrema vergonha de olhar(mas não é vergonha engraçada), a historia tem muitos furos nas relações, elas são mal construídas entre os personagens.

Bridesmaids will get in your head with its raunchy feel and shocking scenes, but its not as appealing as some say. It turns from comedy to drama, and then more comedy. The direction it goes is as predictable as a hyper kid with a sugar rush.

How on earth did this movie earn itself a BAFTA, an Oscar and a WGA nomination for best original screenplay!? "Bridesmaids" is a lot of things but definitely not original. Or do all those other 2000 romantic comedies with the same plot exist only in my mind? I don't think so. "Bridesmaids" is a failure, a cliche movie for women, just like all those Chuck Norris movies are cliche movies for men.

its way too long and predictable. Here and there some good jokes but its not enough for justify the garbage they feed at .Bunch of clumsy women trying so hard to make jokes but in the end i felt pity for writers and the actresses
