A weird cross between a mediocre indie comedy and a bad philosophy paper, I Heart Huckabees has a lot of ideas but doesn't really know what to do with them

A solid cast and some intriguing plot choices doesn't save this sophomore effort from just being a fairly average comedic entry with nothing to really help it stick around in the mind.

A decent, if a bit amateurish, independent debut based around an all-timer lead performance from a young Jeremy Davies, that is sullied by an ultimately unnecessary tinge of controversial subject matter.
