Excellent port, I'm playing on switch 2 and the game can get upto 120fps on handheld mode, worth every penny best trails game so far.

Excellent remake of a 20 year old game that is now easier to access because its on Switch 2/PS5&PC, I have been playing this series since Cold Steel 3 on Switch and its amazing how not only the graphics have gotten better but the storytelling and gameplay has improved in every way possible, this game is similar to Ys Nordics in the fact that it is open world, really looking forward to Trails in the Sky 2nd chapter remake, my only complaint is how difficult it was to get a physical copy, in Europe at launch.

This is hands down my favourite video game of all time, I put 400 hours on the Wii u version and spent over 130 on Switch 1 and 40 hours on Switch 2, everything about this game is perfect in every way possible and with the Switch 2 the load times are faster. The new skells add extra fun to the gameplay.

(NS version), The in-house Nihon Falcom ports on Nintendo switch run very well on Nintendo's aging hardware, the strengths on this game is the characters designed by Katsumi Enami, in addition, this game has addictive side content called Märchen Garten, which has fun fantasy levels. However the problems this game has the pacing is slow and the voice work isn't always very consistent, sometimes the voices get really loud out of nowhere and then they get really quiet which can be irritating, apart from these flaws this game is fun and has a good ost.

Mid tier to good game: character design is cool, the gameplay is fun, the ost has about 3-4 nice soundtracks. The bad: 1: performance on Switch, would be higher if all platforms are the same. 2: lack of intrusting side quests and world building, 3: unpolished game, it has some really excellent ideas but isn't good at executing them. Overall the game needed more development time and the switch version needs some major patches. It has crashed 3-5 times.

Excellent JRPG, one of 2024's best games. I bought the switch version and performance is brilliant. Well done Nis America.

One of the best JRPG'S on Switch, performance wise; this game runs very well on Switch, music is excellent too, reminds me of games from the mid 2000s, this game is worth every penny. Hope Falcom ports all 'Trails' games to Nintendo hardware, as they are a very welcome addition to the excellent library of games on the Switch.

This game is an hidden masterpiece: if the player completes the game on the difficulty of their desire: the tactical gameplay is the best in the SPRG genre. I spent 240 hours tinkering around with different strategies, the music in this game that accompanies the combat is very pretty and suits perfectly for hours of mind-full strategies. Overall this game is my third favourite JRPG on Switch after Fire Emblem Three Houses and Xenoblade 2&3. Fe engage, is a pure example of strategies meeting the JRPG genre. the result: a masterpiece, don't be put of from negative reviews of this game, as with Xenoblade 2, it has its haters; mainly due to the so called Japanophile-arch types of these games. Fire Emblem Engage is my own GOTY for 2023. As a huge Fire Emblem fan, I bought the limited edition version of the game and I was impressed by the high quality workmanship.

This is Fire emblem in all its glory, a true hard-core SPRG, with full fleshed out warriors that dress appropriately for combat. The war in this game feels realistic, even through this game is expensive to pick up from eBay, it is definingly worth the purchase.

This is hands down the most unique video game in the history of humanity: Come on Nintendo port this masterpiece, onto your modern hardware for new fans to enjoy. This game is so damn good it will make the player fall in love with everything about it. Far better than any game on Switch. Makes me realise how special Mr.Iwata, was to Nintendo, this game is a testimony to the brilliance and beautiful person, Satoru Iwata, actually was, he is remembered with great fondness and affection by myself and hopefully all who play games crafted during his reign as Nintendo President. Please Nintendo, do not forget the amount of blood sweat and tears the developers and Mr.Iwata, put into this masterpiece to make it work on Wii U. I beg Nintendo please remaster this game.
