Days Gone8
Jul 11, 2026
Days Gone Remastered delivers the most technically polished version of the game, with significant improvements to lighting, frame rate stability, reflections, and DualSense support. Nights are now genuinely oppressive, and new modes offer modest replay value. However, character models remain untouched, the performance mode on standard PS5 shows reduced clarity compared to the PS4 backward-compatible version, and visual bugs persist. This remaster doesn’t reinvent the experience but is a solid update for fans — though it feels more like a symbolic gesture from Sony than a renewed commitment to the franchise.

Jul 5, 2026

That’s not to say this 2024 do-over is unworthy of one playthrough, especially now a month after release that many bugs have been ironed out. It has entertaining moments of visual splendour jostling against creeping dread but ultimately is a glimpse of unfulfilled potential.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps9
Jun 14, 2026
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is everything you could want from a sequel to Ori and the Blind Forest. It isn’t a revolutionary new step forward for the series by any means, but it does an excellent job of building upon all the core concepts that made Ori and the Blind Forest so fantastic, whilst also adding enough new features to justify its title as a sequel, rather than an additional DLC expansion. If you haven’t played through Ori and the Blind Forest (you should), Ori and the Will of the Wisps is worth jumping into regardless, as it polishes the Ori formula to a shine and is an incredible experience in its own right.

DOOM: The Dark Ages9
May 22, 2026
DOOM: The Dark Ages is a fantastic new beginning for the prolific franchise. While the sound mixing is lackluster and the soundtrack fails to reach the same heights as previous entries, the narrative and gameplay makes up for it. The story is a thrilling blockbuster that will have you grinning and at the edge of your seat from beginning to end and the gameplay, while more grounded than DOOM Eternal, is extremely fun due to the great gunplay, new weapons, unique mech and dragon segments, open levels, and melee focus. Id Software have delivered once again, and I can't wait to see where the franchise goes next.

Still Wakes the Deep7
May 10, 2026
Still wakes the deep is overall a fun but not that scary of a horror game. It's short but straight to the point, no filler. The voice acting is the best out of any horror game I've ever played. You can really feel the emotions of sadness and fear in the main characters voice. Overall a fun linear horror game that I definitely recommend.

I can see that while I play, The Outer Worlds is everything needed and expected from a first-person RPG, one that can then be expanded on in the future, with innovative systems, original worlds, and unexpected characters - they now have a hub to fit into. The problem for players is: why play this game instead of waiting for the one that fully escapes the shadow of Fallout?

Despite clunky animations, repetitive gameplay and some technical issues with the Xbox Series X version, I completed The Medium twice. The game is quite good. Yes, it has its disadvantages, but absolutely every game has them. The plot is not bad, the gameplay is generally excellent, the graphics on a good video card are simply incredible! The fact that someone does not like to study the map and the activity on it does not mean that the game is ****. The characters are interesting, there are interesting twists, the ENT is well spelled out and the locations are all unique and distinctive. I'm not saying that this is the game of the year, but I can't call it one of the worst either. Those who like magic and clearing locations will clearly appreciate it!)

THE LEGEND OF HEROES: TRAILS TO AZURE is one of the most enjoyable RPGs of the year. It has a great story, with a captivating cast of characters and a unique setting. The battles are intense and the strategy involved in battles is rewarding. The artwork is gorgeous and the soundtrack is beautiful. The various side quests add to the overall experience and the game is full of secrets to uncover. In addition, the game is incredibly replayable, with new game plus content unlocking after completion. Overall, THE LEGEND OF HEROES: TRAILS TO AZURE is a must-play for any RPG fan and is one of the best RPGs of the year.

Outriders8
Sep 29, 2023
I really like Outriders and I think it's great to see a game like this launch. It's very rare these days but companies try something new. Normally games tend to play it safe and give us the same thing we have seen before just with a new coat of paint. Outriders has a great story that keeps you interested. The amount of different weapons and gear you can find on your travels. You get the choice of different classes and each class has different builds. The game even promotes trying out unique builds. You can create multiple characters and replay the game in different ways. I believe the devs will also continue to expand on this universe and I really hope they do as there is unlimited possibilities in the world. 1 thing I would criticize is that I wish there would be some puzzles or something to give you a break from shooting. I just feel like I'm running and shooting all the time. Don't get me wrong the combat is great but even the nicest foods can get dull. Keep up the awesome work.

Payday 35
Sep 27, 2023
The most obvious is the no offline mode, which means you cannot pause the damn game even when solo, not to mention getting kicked out of the game and not being able to play when there are issues with the server. getting past that, the game is very barebones, not much to do, there are only 8 heists which is ridiculous, (i know more will come with dlc and updates but i don't want to have to wait). There are only 6 heisters too. The whole concealment aspect of stealth has been removed, all guns and armor have the same concealment, which effectively negates the need for more than one loadout which makes the game considerably more boring. Obviously, they have replaced the whole concealment thing with public, private, and secure areas, meaning the guards wont touch you depending which area you are in, but its worse as how are guards meant to not notice the bloody ar15 under the guys jacket even in public areas???????. Gun modification is boring, There no need for modifying for concealment anymore, but modifications are now simply unlocked as you level up, unlike the randomness of either getting a gun mod card at the end of the heist like in Payday 2, or spending continental coins on them. That also brings me to continental coins, there are none. alongside that, there is also no safehouse. The outfits you can buy are very generic and boring. There is also a lot less enemies which removes the craziness feeling The ui is also considerably basic, and misses things like skip buttons and lack of indication as to what difficulty your on, im not gonna list them as i cba. There is also no saw which makes loadouts very boring There is some good however, the graphics are considerably better, the npc now have facial movement, the public, private, secure areas do add a nice touch to the game, alongside the new lockpicking. unlimited zipties was a long awaited feature, and the ability to trade hostages for extra time before an assault is good too. being able to move dead guards before answering their pager is handy also.

Somerville7
Sep 23, 2023
Somerville is weird. Much like Limbo and Inside, I don't like those games and Somerville is exactly the same as those games. Somerville is a third person puzzle adventure game where you're trying to find your family after aliens attack and you get alien powers that can be used for solving puzzles. No puzzle you solve in Somerville is ever that engaging and the game falls flat on the gameplay side. The story as always in these games is weird and is intentionally vague as to what is really happening at the end of the game. There are multiple endings, some which required some secrets to uncover, and this is the most engaging part of the game. But 90% of the game is just walking through solving puzzles until you get to the end. Overall the game is just meh but it was quick enough that it didn't feel I wasn't going to finish it.

This is an incredible experience, but I'm not so sure that it's an incredible game. 10/10 on the visuals, voices, and exploration of psychosis. Maybe 6/10 for the puzzles and combat? At some point you realize that the only way to survive is to dodge continuously, trying to get a whack in here and there. Multiple enemies were basically hopeless. On the other hand, I haven't played a game that has stuck with me like this one, forcing me to think about it weeks later. Flawed masterpiece, perhaps.

A solid 7. It's not mindblowing but it's definitely a solid game. I liked the melee combat, though there was some potential for more/better weapons as well as some more enemy variety. Alienation8
Aug 28, 2023
The good -Action: Really nice coop twin stick action, perfect controls and some nice touches that always keeps the adrenaline going, the random horde in particular is really fun, -Random challenges: This is another nice addition, all levels hace random challenges that nets you gear and exp, these are not varied because every one of them involves killing something, but they are challenging and makes grinding not tedious. -Gear upgrade system: A nice streamlined version of gear upgrade that lets you focus on the action. The bad -Missions: They are too few and all of them have generic objetives; outside of the little hints of story that each provides, they are pretty much interchangable, -Short campaing: While the game offers theoretically endless content (weekly challenges, ultimate gear upgrading, ark ship time trials), most players will not keep playing after the 2nd playtrough, and that can be achived in as little as 10hrs. -Not enough of everything: basically the game needs more missions, more weapon types, more grenade types, more end game content and at least 1 more class. Veredict: A nice little game, haves some issues and its very short for the deep rpg systems that it haves but is really fun specially whe playing with friends.

Journey is as deep or as shallow as you want it to be, and yet it is always its unique self. Journey is one of the games you get funny looks for missing out on, it made that big a splash upon release. I jumped on the bandwagon very late because I refuse to touch anything console related and Journey took the long way round to get to the PC, but now it's here and I made the time. We're only talking 90 minutes per playthrough, after all. According to a casual survey of The Discourse, Journey is a lot of things to a lot of people: A tale of transcendence, a religious allegory… For me, during the first two thirds of my first play through, Journey was one thing: Flow: The Game.

Before you do play this game, I need to bring you back down to reality, because this is not some hidden gem classic that everyone on the internet makes it out to be… Don’t get me wrong… Vanquish is a really fun game... Here is my HONEST, 100% Non Biased review of The Game Called Astral Chain: “Astral Chain reminds me a lot of games like Nier, Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, and much more. And with this game, I believe it takes all of that inspiration and evolves it into what we have now. This game is really good, The Characters, The Story, all pretty much flow very well. The Combat is pretty damn good, as well as the graphics. Now I do want to point out that yes this game is 30 frames per second, but I believe that doesn’t diminish the overall picture for this game. I do also want to point out a couple of things: The legions and being to switch between each of them with ease is really awesome, u can call out your legion to perform pretty sick combos or use your legion to navigate places that are harder to reach on your own

To save a rather huge wall of text, I'm going to wrap up my problem with this installment quite quickly: You can't see the connection from your choices to the endgame. Your choices throughout the five different character pieces basically changes who's there at the end. But there's absolutely NO way to see "Oh making x choices means this character's not there." It just doesn't follow-- the ending honestly feels like a complete non-sequitur. Play it to get ready for Season 2, but it's just not going to have the impact of Season 1.

Jun 26, 2023
o, charging $20 for a DLC that can be completed in around 3 hours is pure greed. If you want to complete the optional filler content (collect posters and the board game) you can add another 1-2 hours for a total of 4-5 hours. If you don't care about the optional side-activites, the value for money is very low here. Speaking of side activitites, the breaking boxes mini-game etc, I think the whole thing just felt too "arcadey". As for the story, it's basically just a small back-story about Yuffie, but it doesn't take the main story forward in any way. The final boss was cool, but the rest of Chapter 2 was basically just a gauntlet of fighting.
