Ridge Racer V is an excellent racer on the PS2 that showcases what the hardware is capable of in the graphics department. And the soundtrack is no short of amazing, as it always has been.

Ridge Racer 3D is a good adaptation of Namco's beloved racing game series on the Nintendo's underrated handheld, but compared to its predecessor, Ridge Racer 7, there are still some things left to be desired here.

Though Ridge Racer 6 is objectively a step up from its handheld predecessors in terms of gameplay, its graphics and soundtrack leave quite a bit to be desired. Not to mention, the AI in this game feels annoying rather than challenging in a fun way. Aside from some hiccups, anyone looking for an arcade racer on the Xbox 360 won't be disappointed with this one.

The PSP rendition of Ridge Racer is an excellent racer on the go, featuring high-speed drift racing through the streets of Ridge City and rural landscapes. It is jam-packed with an incredible soundtrack that can be listened to through the AV Player and plenty of content to keep players coming back for more. The driving controls feel great, reminiscent of previous titles in the series, but personally, the machines aren't as fast as I'd like them to be. The tracks can also be a mixed bag—some of them are smooth to race on, while others (looking at you Greenpeak Highlands) are practically hell on earth for lesser-experienced drivers. Aside from some hiccups here and there, Namco succeeded in delivering a well-made portable Ridge Racer game for Sony's once-only PlayStation handheld.

Despite being the last main game we have seen in the Ridge Racer series, Namco’s beloved racing franchise went out with a bang. Ridge Racer 7 stands as one of the best racing games on the PS3, with stunning graphics rendered in 1080p, running at a smooth 60 frames per second. The gameplay loop is simple yet engaging, truly pushing the player’s skills to the limit. Ridge Racer has never felt as fast and as exhilarating as it does in this installment, and the soundtrack and announcer amplify that feeling to an incredible extent. Ridge Racer 7 expanded upon the driving model that the series has always been known for, creating a uniquely challenging but satisfying to master game.

Aquapazza isn’t exactly the greatest fighting game you will find on the PS3, but I still think it’s worth a shot if you’re looking for weird yet interesting fighting games to try.

Sonic Frontiers was the right step into the direction for the franchise and I'm excited for what the future holds for Sonic.

Ratchet & Clank (2016) does a great job at capturing the essence of past games in the series. While the movie wasn’t so great, the game manages to do a good job at putting everything in order.

Giving Shadow a gun is almost like giving Goku a gun. I know it sounds silly, but he literally doesn’t need a gun if he already has Chaos Abilities at his disposal. I feel like they did it just to make Shadow The Hedgehog more edgy. However, I will say that the alternative endings are cool and makes the game feel more dynamic. Though trying to actually get all of these endings will be a rather bumpy ride.

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to overlook this game’s flaws due to the incredibly unresponsive motion controls, which is enough to declare Sonic Free Riders as possibly the worst Sonic game to ever exist.

Freekstyle is a fun game that gets repetitive real quick due to its small selection of courses.

Re-Volt is a fun yet chaotic racing game where you drive minimalistic vehicles through various environments with some Mario Kart-esque power ups thrown into the mix.

Striker here, I’ve come to tell you that Burnout 3 Takedown is an absolutely phenomenal game from the vast landscapes you explore to the massive amounts of destruction and carnage seen here on Crash FM. If I were you, I’d take myself to the nearest game store and pick this bad boy up.

Capcom Fighting Evolution is a great concept that was executed very poorly and it will not be worth your time.

Sonic Advance 2 is a vast improvement over the original game. I consider it to be the best game in the trilogy.

Sonic Advance is a good game, but it does have tend to have some rather questionable level design choices, including weird spike placement and enemy spawns. Otherwise, I would consider giving the Advance trilogy a try if you haven’t.

Everything about Dead or Alive 4 is beautiful: the combat, the visuals, and the sound. Combined with the insane amount of content and high replay value, gamers will certainly have a great time playing this game.

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror truly is an awesome GBA game and possibly the best Kirby game on the system.

Super Monkey Ball 2 offers great single player content as well as fun multiplayer modes. It has a rather steep difficulty curve, but once you get used to it this game is a blast!

Tekken Tag Tournament is an excellent fighting game that throws tag-team mechanics into the mix.

There is some fun to be had with this game, but overall Smash Cars is pretty lackluster.

Although I only played the demo, I did not like the game for what it was worth. The fact that it had to be the last MS game to ever exist is simply heartbreaking for me. However, I will say that it was a bit refreshing.

Despite the graphical improvements, the PS2 version of Arctic Edge is only slightly inferior to the PSP version since its online functionality was removed. Regardless, it is still relatively good racing game.

TimeSplitters: Future Perfect delivers an absolutely thrilling single-player and multiplayer experience.

TimeSplitters 2 is simply a timeless FPS game. This series really stood out from the rest.

TimeSplitters is a pretty cool game to say the least. The camera feels a bit awkward to control at first, but once you get used to it things will be a hassle.

For a Nintendo 3DS game, Dead or Alive Dimensions was quite impressive. The story is pretty enjoyable and the gameplay is fun. You should consider picking up this game if you're looking for a fighting game to play on the 3DS.

I love Dead or Alive 3, but there's one problem I have: there is no online mode. Fighting AI can get boring after a while so it would be nice to fight against actual players outside of local play.

Dead or Alive Ultimate is truly the 'ultimate' package of DOA games since it includes remasters of the first two games.

The original Dead or Alive was good for its time, but I don't think it has aged well even when compared to Tekken or Virtua Fighter.

ModNation Racers is easily one of my favorite kart racers of all-time. I love the "Play, Create, Share" aspect of this game.

While Tekken 5 took some steps into the right direction for the series, it also scarified some of its characters in the process.

Trust me, I tried to love Sonic Forces but I just couldn't... Something about this game feels so off compared to other 3D Sonic games.

Nadeo took everything that was great about both Original and Sunrise and put it into one fantastic racing game.

Trackmania Nations Forever is such a blast to play. Players can create their own tracks, share them online, and compete against each other for the fastest times. It's hard not to say no to a game like this since its free.

LittleBigPlanet 3 is good game, but the story is pretty lackluster and it was incredibly buggy at launch to the point where the game was almost unplayable. Thankfully, most of them were patched later on, though it still doesn't change the fact that Sony rushed LBP3.

I’m not a big fan of turn-based RPGs, but this game is still fun nonetheless.

Need For Speed: Underground 2 is a good game as with the original, but my main complaint is the URL races and Street X. The URL races drag on for too long, which absolutely kills the fun in career mode and Street X is underwhelming.

Need For Speed: Underground is easily one of my favorite racing games of all-time.

Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc was a joy to play especially as someone who isn’t too familiar with the series.

Rocket League is one of the greatest games I have ever played and it will definitely be worth your time.

Setting its console release aside, Tekken 6 on the PSP offers a great fighting experience on the go.

Tekken 4 was the last Tekken game to ever have a proper story that respected its former members or unique stage layouts. In terms of gameplay, however, it is practically the same game but with a few changes here and there.

The EO version of CVS2 is not nearly as impressive as the original, but it still is fun nonetheless.

This game is simply amazing, from the Capcom and SNK drawn art to the music.

While Tekken 6 isn’t my favorite entry in the series, it definitely is quite an interesting one to say the least.

Tekken 3 is possibly the greatest 3D fighting game to ever exist on the Sony PlayStation.

Tekken 2, while better than the original, isn’t nearly as good as Tekken 3 was, but this game still deserves credit.

I used to love playing this game back in the day, but now the community has become progressively worse. As long as you stay away from competitive, this game can still be fun.

Pacific Rift is a vast improvement of the original game. Each vehicle feels great to drive, and the tracks are pleasing to the eye.
