a great return to the series, amazing ambience, dungeons, and level design, but the bike desert holds it back so much. it's so unnecessary. would be a 9.5/10 game without it.

Beautiful game that spikes my cortisol more than any other. I didn't feel any of the satisfaction that hollow knight gave me after overcoming a difficult part, the game just feels unnecessarily mean. But it has gorgeous visuals, great artstyle, and HEAVENLY music. It's like an abusive relationship.

great story mode but with how much rockstar shoves online down your throat you'd expect that part to actually be good.

this is the second best game in terms of fun factor for me (only behind tf2.) seriously, its a masterclass of game design and DOPAMINE!!! it feels unfinished in its current state though, will update the review when more stuff gets added.

this game is amazing. ctitics hate it because its different and hard. rain world has the most immersive and asthetically pleasing atmospheres of any game imo. the difficulty adds to the immersion, as you are not the main character, but just a little guy trying to survive in an ecosystem. the environmental storytelling is also perfect. however, this game is not for everyone, and trying to brute force your way through it will only end in frustration. I always found that the game's "unfairness" was never truly unfair because it relies on your ability to adapt to unexpected situations, a skill that you get much better at the more you play. as always, the game is not perfect. but its one of my favorites for sure

very good game. cool mechanics, good graphics, and interacting with the characters is **** 2 playthroughs are the same. also vampire guy is hot. however, this game is also extremely overhyped. i went in with extremely high expectations and ended up being dissapointed because it wasnt really a life-changing experience like they say. i blame the fanbase. (this game is still VERY GOOD!! just not perfect.)

best controlling mario kart game ever. each mini turbo is like an instant dopamine boost. karts, characters, and items are very well balanced, and deluxe fixed everything wrong with the base game.

absolute beauty in every frame, amazingly crafted platforming and puzzles, and a heart-crushing story to neatly wrap it all together. also, dan fornace worked on it. love that guy. i cant deny the jank of this game though, some aspects of the physics system are very buggy and will have you dying for no reason. also, it's a bit shorter than I would like it to be. if this game had a few more years in the oven, im sure it would have been a 10/10.

The artwork, music, worldbuilding, and gameplay are all excellent, literally HOW was this made by 3 people? hollow knight has no major flaws imo, just a few minor frustrations, but they don't matter in the grand scheme of things. SHAW!!

extremely fluid controls, level design is amazing, artwork and animations are to cry for, story is to bawl for, and left me with an existential crisis. 11/10.
