The worst Silent Hill game made. The only good thing about the game is the design and the backstory. The design is very good for 2008 game, and the story of Alex Shepherd is very interesting. The worst thing about the game is the combat. It's almost unplayable how bad it is. I just can't believe it. I found myself psychically angry a lot of times because of the combat, it horrible! All in all, the game had a potential, and good backstory, but had a bad developer.

First impression: Not so great game. Last impression: Amazing game! This is absolutely the best horror game ever created. Hell, one of the best games in general ever made. This game is more than just a game, I just can't explain it. Everyone should play it.

Absolutely amazing game. I've read some bad reviews, but still decided to play and it was the right choice. This game has everything, except of scare element. The game is just not scary enough to be called "Silent Hill". It has excellent story and excellent new characters. Totally worth playing and I recommend it to anyone who loves action, adventure or horror games.

Very fun, scary and hard game. Even tho I was playing on the easy difficulty, the puzzles and game in general were really really hard. I can't imagine playing on hard. A bit odd and not so great voice acting but all in all, great horror game!

The game's plot is slightly different than original game's plot, but it does keep the same story and characters and I really like that. Graphics for the WII console are great! Easy to control, shoot and aim. Amazing game.

I liked the game in general, but it just isn't scary to be a Resident Evil game. Graphics are amazing, no doubts, voice acting as well, but I just can't get over it. This isn't a horror game, it was "a beginning" of Resident Evil 6 - action game rather than horror game.

What can I say? Masterpiece. First game that I literally conquered! If I was counting how many times I played this game, it would reach 100, no doubts! Just amazing! Can't even describe it. Amazing!

I was expecting much more when I bought the game. The game is just not scary, it's more action game to me rather than horror game. But I still enjoyed it.

I didn't find the game scary, just because of the graphics, but I'm sure I would find it more scary if it was on the newer consoles. Even tho, I was scared in some moments it still wasn't enough to call game scary. I can just say this: "The worst voice acting ever!" The voice acting is so bad it's actually funny. But, who am I to judge, it's 1999's game. Anyways, amazing game in general.

I do not understand, why do people think that this game is bad? Sure it isn't scary, but other than that, the game is really good. Of course it failed as a horror game, but it didn't failed as an action game. The game play, controls and plot is really good.

I finished the game 10 times, getting every single ending. The game is fantastic, great voice acting, story, plot and game play. The graphics are amazing for the WII console. Controls as well. Only thing bad about this game is that it isn't scary. Silent Hill franchise was known to be one of the best horror games franchise (until Origins came out). But this one, not scary, sure the chase scenes are actually pretty scary and do scare the player, but, other than that, not scary.
