Having put about 15 hours into this game, I can confidently call it what it is: fun garbage. Don't waste $60 on this broken game. Wait for a sale. When the game decides to work (which, flip a coin each time you boot it up), it's fantastic... but there are far too many issues this far into the life of the game to warrant a recommendation to buy it right now. I just spent the last 2 hours trying to play with 2 friends. We got in TWO matches and received credit for ONE of them. Both games featured multiple dropped players. Stay away from this POS until it's fixed.

One of the best looking and most exhilarating games you can play on Xbox 1... This game beautifully borrows the exploration of a Far Cry / Assassin's Creed game, mixes it with driving mechanics from Need for Speed, and throws in the combat made popular by the Batman: Arkham series, while making each of these things seem unique to this game. It does have it's flaws - audio is a bit laggy, some of the character models feature a rogue glitchy-looking animation here and there, combat isn't overly challenging and the missions can feel repetitive from time to time. That said, these flaws are forgiven by a BEAUTIFUL environment, incredible music and SFX, and exhilarating gameplay which includes seamless transitions between vehicle combat and human combat. There's something to be said for a game whose sound effects can pump you up... reving up the engine of the Magnum Opus for the first time is an incredible feeling, and each upgrade you through onto your blossoming rig adds a level of satisfaction for progression-driven games like this that's rare to find any more. If you loved Fury Road, or if anything I said above is interesting to you, stop reading these reviews and go try the game. It's a game that essentially went from not being on my radar to one of my favorite games on XB1 within the first 10 minutes of playing the game.

Take the style of Mass Effect, throw in a very basic version of a loot system from Borderlands, some beautiful graphics, one of the best soundtracks/voice acting in years, and cap it off with the first person action that Bungie is famous for and you get Destiny. I get the hate for this game, but you're most likely going to hate this game if you put it on a pedestal. I went into Destiny with ZERO hype and little in the way of expectations and I LOVE this game. This game is best enjoyed with a group of friends online, but the "solo" campaign is pretty fun in its own right. I will say that I wish the levels were better fleshed out with more to explore, and I also don't care for a lack of a rotation on multiplayer maps, but these negatives shouldn't deter from playing this incredibly addicting game. I'm giving this game a 10 because the unwarranted and ridiculous 0's and 1's it's getting. If you think this game is a 0 or a 1, you're either a troll, or you've never really played a 0/1 kind of game. I'd realistically say this game is at an 8.5 FYI. Fight on, Guardians.

I wanted to like this game, but the story line is painful, the controls are quite off, and there's nothing about this game that makes it worth a single penny. If you can get it for free, go for it... but expect to get what you pay for... nothing.

Check this game out while it's free... otherwise give it a WIDE berth. The controls are awful and there's no real motivating reason to press through the campaign.

Great intro into next-gen for me. Graphics were quite nice, even on my 1080i tv, especially the lighting elements. Gameplay is fun as well, once you get the hang of where and when to use your different powers. The only two things holding this game back: poor camera angles (especially when you're surrounded by trees) at times and less than stellar AI from time to time (there are instances where hiding behind a piece of cover high above the enemy will preclude them from flanking and allow you to pick them off 1 by 1). That said, still a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience that validates your decision to pick up a PS4.

People bought this game? I got it for free with PS+ and even still I feel ripped off. Laggy, unresponsive, incoherent, embarrassing are just a few words I would use to describe this game. It's garbage. That's not an opinion, that's fact. If you think this is a great game, good on you, I wish my standards were as low as yours. Don't waste your time or money on this unfinished product. If you MUST play soccer, give Fifa a try.

This series is the reason I bought a PS3 back in the day, and it's the reason I just purchased my PS4 this past weekend. I will mention that there is not much in the way of differences between 13 and 14, but even the devs admitted they haven't even begun to tap the potential of the PS4. That being said, it's still a gorgeous game and the small tweaks to RTTS have made it all the more fun to play. Of course, if you don't own last year's iteration of The Show, you should consider picking this game up as it will have more than enough to keep you satisfied until next season. Well worth the price of admission; and with that, I return to the virtual batting cage.

As a fan of Pokemon since Red & Blue way back when... I find this game to be insulting to me as a fan of Pokemon. Dangling 3 legendary Pokemon behind a boring, content-lacking, point and shoot game is hardly worth three cents let alone three dollars. Prepare to shake 3DS over and over again to build up Play Coins unless you want to wait days to get all the dream orbs necessary to catch Landorous. You should also prepare to replace your "a" button as you'll continue to get the same dialogue over and over again before each "mission". The only positive side to this game is the ability to insert other DS games (Platinum, HG, SS, etc.) to catch additional legendaries complete with their hidden abilities once the main (3 hour?) "campaign" is finished. If you absolutely need the Therin trio, but the game... if not, STAY AWAY!

At this point you know what you're getting yourself into when you buy COD DLC. However, the 4 new multiplayer maps are quite fun (with awesome care-package drops to boot) and the new guns are a "blast" to play with. This certainly adds a bit of refreshment to an already addicting online experience and it's a must-by for COD-enthusiasts. For the casual gamer, if the game has held your interest for this long there's no reason not to try this out if, for no other reason, than to break up the monotony of playing the same old maps again and again. It's not always worth the $15 price tag to get new COD DLC, but this time around you're definitely getting a good bang for your buck. Until next time, I'll be hiding in the cabin in Fog trying to get my Jason care-package.

I wish you could give "in-between" ratings, as I rank this as an 8.5. This game is incredibly difficult, and I LOVE IT. Every death teaches you something new, every mistake gives you a new twist to your strategy. For $10 you're getting countless hours of gameplay, a new experience each time, and near 100 achievements to strive toward earning. It's a wonderfully rewarding roguelike; that is, of course, if you have the patience required to learn the game.

All I need to say is, as of this writing, 805 users think this is a great game. I concur, and there's a near 90% chance you will to... if the user ratings are any judge. In all honesty, this is one of the most visually stunning games to grace the Xbox 360. Audio is superb with a soundtrack so beautiful that it's been playing on my iTunes on repeat for the past few months now. Voice acting is equally excellent, though I am NOT listening to it on iTunes... Gameplay is what you've come to expect from Bioshock although you're only able to carry 2 weapons at a time and have 2 abilities mapped at a time which takes a little of the OP feel that I enjoyed from the first Bioshock away from the game when you get toward then end. This winds up being irrelevant however, mostly because of how outstanding every other aspect of this game is. Simply put, stop reading my review and go play this game if you haven't already... and play it again if you have. Bring them the girl... wipe away the debt!

If you're one of the unfortunate gamers who won't have a PS3 in time to play The Last of Us in the coming weeks, this is a more than adequate (albeit entirely different) substitute. Many reviews state that this game is the best deal in the history of XBLA, and I concur. For $20 you get a game that mixes the joys of open world exploration in a post-apocalyptic city with the strategy of an RPG and the over-whelming terror of zombies. Every structure you find in the game is explorable and often contains supplies you'll need to survive the zombie apocalypse. Combat is simple, but fun. Items break down over time forcing you to decide whether to fight or run for your life. In fact, my only gripe with this game is that the game penalizes you for not playing all the time. By that I mean, every 24 hours your resources that you've gathered will slowly be depleted and the morale of your stronghold will drop as well. Basically, if you put this game down for a stretch of time, you essentially lose progress. It's a rather frustrating mechanic that makes me wonder if this is what the future holds for Xbox One... but that's a controversial topic for another time and place. For now, suffice it to say that it's shortcomings (of which there are a few) are easily over-looked with it's $20 price tag and hours of zombie-killing fun.

Since the 1.9 update was release on XBLA there is no doubt in my mind that this is one of the best XBLA games money can buy. Since I left my childhood I've always had a secret longing to play with blocks again, and Minecraft is the perfect excuse to do so. While the XBLA version will never be on the same level as the PC version in terms of game updates, it still has everything required to make this a worthwhile investment of your hard-earned Microsoft points.

While the controls don't carry over as well as they could from the PC to the XBLA port, Terraria is still the great 2D sandbox game people have come to know and love since its release on Steam. It's fun with friends or solo, and provides you with hours upon hours of mindless fun. If you're looking for a time-sink with a charming SNES feel along with one of the best video game soundtracks in recent memory, give Terraria a go. You might be quite happy you did.

I can't believe it's taken me three years in getting around to playing this gem ****. Having been unaware of the Monkey Island franchise until very recently, I was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful "HD" version of the 1990 original. It's a short(ish, depending on your puzzle-solving skills) game, but well worth the $10 you'll shell out for it. Each puzzle you solve gives you a sense of gratification that few games offer today. Not to mention writing that, in my mind, is on par with the likes of the Portal franchise for it's wit and incredibly fun humor. In a world where PSN/XBLA games are starting to take up more and more **** time, don't let this gem fall through the cracks.

I got this game on sale today for $4. Had I paid another cent I would've been furious. As it is, I've beaten the game within four hours today and have paid $1 per hour of fun. For a game that typically boasts a $10-$15 price tag there should be MUCH more content. While everything I've said is nothing you haven't already heard about this game I'll offer this: If you can get the game on sale (Like this weekend, 3/15/13 until 3/18) do it and do it with the knowledge that you're buying a $4 toy, not a game. That's what Little Inferno is: a toy. Sadly, this toy loses it's charm after the first play-through, and the "ending" is about as useless as a flat tire (and that's how it comes across: flat). Come to think of it, perhaps the $4 sale price is STILL too high. If you have $4 to burn (pun intended) and you haven't already played the Binding of Isaac (or another excellent $4/$5 game), you could do slightly worse than this somewhat charming game.

If not for the challenge, buy this game for the music, the visuals, and the narration by Super Mario himself. They kept this sequel challenging for those returning to the series and have made life easier by adding checkpoints for those looking for a more casual experience. Though you will find yourself repeating levels to unlock new characters, items, etc. you'll also find that each visit to an old level is just as rewarding and thrilling as it was the first time through. If you compare this game to Skyrim, you're going to have a bad time. FC3 is great for what it is: an open-world FPS that allows you to play at your own pace. With beautiful environments, fun and rewarding game-play, and relatively interesting characters you'll find it easy to lose yourself for hours on end in Rook Island.
