Pro Evolution Soccer 2014

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 is very much what its name implies, an evolution. Konami have taken off the gloves and issued a very strong challenge to EA; whether or not this will translate to actual sales is yet to be seen as this battle will be fought over the coming year.

The new Fox Engine gives birth to a deep and engrossing soccer game. This is the best PES ever, but it still suffers from the comparison to its arch-rival FIFA in terms of licensing and options.

If you like that in-depth type of football/soccer gameplay, then you're going to find a lot of fun with Pro Evolution Soccer 2014. Just excuse its outer wrapper, which needs some major work.

Calling it a simulation doesn't quite feel right, but this captures the look and action of a football match better than anything else I've played.

Producing a game like PES for a new engine brings huge challenges, it would be impossible to have the same level of tuning of the prior version using the previous engine, but it is truly amazing what was accomplished on the first time.

The foundation is promising, but although PES 2014 is not a bad game, it's still far from the elite of the genre.

This new PES 2014 has made efforts in its gameplay, offering freer and more realistic actions, but it disappoints on the technical side. Slowdowns in front of goal are annoying, most of the players (except the stars) are unrecognizable, the public is poorly done... In short, we are still far, far away from catching the ogre FIFA.

A ten out of ten! I've never had so much fun playing a video game. It's so flawed that it's hilarious! It's the only game you can get a penalty because the opponent tackled his own player.

Prefería la jugabilidad de Fifa a gusto personal, pero era buena alternativa. Me lo regalaron con mi segunda PS3, por lo que poco tengo que achacarle. Alguna que otra partida con amigos cayó.

the realism is impeccable, the motion is wonderful at some points such as heading but is weak at others i.e. side foot shots, team editing in edit mode needs an upgrade, its been the same sort if thing for around 3/4 years and wasn't even that great in the first year of its usage. the lack of players scanned in is also something that frustrates me about the game.

Fui testigo de la debacle de PES. Es el peor juego de futbol que juegué en mi vida. Totalemte olvidable y ni hablar de la banda sonora (no tiene). Debería considerarse como el Juego Maldito de Konami.

Bola fora da Konami, o jogo tem uma mecanica ruim, travada e é extramamente chato de se jogar. Perto de muito para seu concorrente. Com certeza o pior game de futebol que a Konami já fez.
