DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I have never played a game that was this broken and unplayable so long after release. I haven't even been able to get passed the second age of a single playthrough because of the ridiculous amount of gamebreaking bugs and crashes. This game is the only piece of software that has ever blue screened my current computer too, and it more than meets the recommended software requirements. By far. You literally cannot progress in this game because the game will constantly get stuck after you press "next turn". Feel free to google the issue: "Next Turn Civilization vii please wait". You find this issue goes back a very long time and is just not getting fixed. It completely breaks the game. This game is broken and the bugs that have broken it have been around since release. THEY ARE NOT FIXING THEM. You play 2 hours of this game, you cannot get a refund. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Legitimately, the most generic and barebones shooters I've ever seen. The levels are pretty much just walled in playing fields that leave everyone out in the open, so if you like shooters that promote strategy forget that Idea. The animation is garbage. The visuals are terrible. And the premise of playing as hamas, glorifying terrorism, is probably even dumber than the actual gameplay.

Really great historical 4x game. Probably one of the best 4x titles I've played in the last few years.

So I see the good people of metacritic decided to post a fake score of 9 for me on this game when in reality I never even scored it. For that reason I'm filling up the required text box and giving a 0. Not cool metacritic.

Best horror game of 2017. Characters can be a little bland at points, but overall the game is sufficiently creepy with an interesting story and very entertaining gameplay.

Another great game in an awesome 2017. This year has been amazing for gaming. Hellblade is an intense trip though a land of death and mental anguish. It tells the story of celtic warrior woman who has lost her lover to a viking raid. She suffers from severe schizofrenia which is only exacerbated by this loss. She has journeyed north to the viking lands to bring back her lover from the underworld. This game is somewhat short, but for 30 dollars on release day, I'd say its well worth a play through. There are no side quests in this game, and the level design is pretty linear. It all seems to come together and work pretty well though. The story is intense and exciting, while draining and deeply interesting. The audio in this game is really something innovative and fresh. I really recommend having a good set of headphones if you plan to play this game. The actual game play consists of puzzle solving and vivid, flashy combat. Its probably some of the best looking sword combat I've seen in a game to date. And as a whole, the game is very well presented with fantastic visuals throughout. Beyond that, there's not really not much else to this game. It tells a brutal story filled with norse mythology and it does it well. Pros: -great innovative audio -exciting flashy combat -interesting and engrossing story -well worth the price of 30 dollars on release -fantastic visuals -No bugs that I noticed cons: -short -somewhat simple gameplay with no sidequests, leveling, inventory, or progression system

This game isn't perfect. It doesn't have the best graphics and I've run into a few minor bugs. Nothing serious, but a little annoying. That said, this game is amazing. Simply amazing. The art direction, the soundtrack, the story, the engrossing environments. Amazing. This is one of the best games I've ever played--and my top game of the year so far for 2017. Besting my previous fav of 2017, Horizon Zero Dawn. It's criminal that this game is rated below a 9, and I can only guess that's because its visual quality isn't on par with the aforementioned Horizon Zero dawn. Because the quality throughout every other aspect of the game sets an extremely high bar. I've told people this probably has one of the best, if not the best original sound tracks of any game I've ever played. And while I know that might sound a little over the top, I think it might be true. i've found myself going back to certain locations in the game, just to hear the local music play. What I think I like most about this game though; it feels unique. The game play is rich and interesting and and the story does a great job of making you feel for the characters while not making you watch a ton of really long drawn out cutscenes. The voice acting is top notch as well. The little comments the characters 2b and 9s share with each other, while not long winded, are poignant and effective. And the sub-quests are thought provoking and interesting, while not distracting from the main overarching theme of the game. I don't know what else to say... Do yourself a favor, play this game.

I've played about 110ish hours at this point and I can easily say this game does not deserve a 4.7 user score. There's a lot of obvious anti-EA haters posting negative reviews here. The idea that this game doesn't even merit a 6 is ridiculous. I feel the game is worth probably around an 8 or a high 7. I gave it a 9, however, to try to offset all the ridiculously low and undeserved low scores. Although I know there's already so many negative reviews, my one review won't make a dent. And as for people finding reviews helpful here... Basically if you write a positive review, the haters just mark it unhelpful--when they themselves are people who probably haven't even played the game. I find it ridiculous that people saying the graphics are bad when they're easily the best in the series. And while the animations have their issues, they are not nearly as bad or widespread as people would have you think. Recent update also fixed a lot of the major animation issues. Whats good about this game: -The gameplay is fun and feels very polished. If you played previous mass effects and dragon age inquisition, you can see this game as the natural successor. -It looks beautiful. Some of the best in space graphics I've probably seen in a game. On world, the detail is even higher and the game definitely feels next gen. -In general i think the voice acting is pretty good. I like the lead actress who plays sara. And while this games lead female doesn't share the same serious tone as her predecessor, to me it still feels right. This said, there are some questionable casting decision for voice actors. Notably the female krogan in Nexus and your turian tempest crewmate, I think her name is vetra... although its admittedly hard to think of either races as having females.. so maybe thats why they sound weird to me. -the leveling and power progression system feels rewarding, diverse and interesting. I also like that it does not lock you into one path and it is very easy to respec. -First crafting system in the mass effect franchise What I don't like about this game so far. -While the animation isn't as bad as most reviewers would have you believe, it could definitely use a layer of polish. I think its unreasonable to expect fully animated faces with expressions for every dialogue interaction in this game considering how many dialogue interaction there are, however I do think more of an attempt should have been made in certain areas. Compared to other games out now though, I don't think this game is too far from the standard. I say this after having just finished horizon zero dawn. Also, I'd love to see zeldas facial animations.... O wait, there aren't any. -The UI, while generally fine, has its annoyances. Its definitely better than some of the previous bioware titles though... -Decision making throughout the game hasn't felt very impactful so far. -A lot of minor little bugs, some of which have already been patched and I would bet most will be almost nonexistent in a couple weeks time with subsequent patches. Haven't finished the story yet, but it does not seem as epic as the previous titles in the series. At the same time though, it definitely has the Mass Effect feel and sense of exploration and discovery is very good.

Would be a great game if it wasn't a buggy piece of sh$@. Every 5 minutes I find my units either getting stuck in terrain, getting stuck behind walls they could easily go around because of bad pathing, or falling through the terrain because of badly done collision. Not only that, but this game has some serious stability issues. It has been released for a long time now, yet it still suffers from crashes nearly every 10 to 20 minutes of play. What makes that even worse, is that you cannot save in "red zones," and these red zones are where the majority of the gameplay takes place. I would love to say this is a great game. It could be terrifically fun, if it wasn't excrutiatingly painful because of how buggy it is. F$@% this game. Thats my review
