BUYER BEWARE In order to play online, you need an EA account. Turns out EA deleted my account and support said to reactivate the account using the email address that created the account, but I'm using the account... So I thought maybe I created my current account with a different email address and then changed it to my current email address. The support page says in this case to change the email address of the new account. I changed the email to something else, tried to reset the password of the email which would have created the account, but it says the account doesn't exist. The problem with this is apparently there is no way to unlink your PSN account if the EA account has been deleted, which is possibly the most idiotic thing I have ever heard. Especially seeing as there is no way now to recover my account.

Pokemon Sword5
Nov 25, 2019
By far the weakest mainline entry into a series which is well and truly starting to show its age. 400+ cut Pokemon from previous games due to a reported "lack of resources" and in order to focus on improving the game elsewhere. Pokemon Sword and Shield lack any meaningful innovation and any additions feel like an afterthought and incomplete - the Wild Area being the biggest example of incomplete and unfinished. The 60 odd new Pokemon mostly try to fill the void of the 400+ cut Pokemon, by reusing previous ideas and repackaging them as "new". The story is about 15-20 hours, depending on your approach - most of which is filled with busywork, cut scenes and an overabundance of dialogue. The forced EXP share ensures once you have a team of 6 Pokemon, that they will all level up together. Gone are the days of having to train each Pokemon individually and as such, you don't get the opportunity to form a bond with any of them. Overall really disappointing and I can only recommend to the fans who play each entry into the series religiously upon release.

A improvement over The Division (after update 1.6) in every single way. A tactical rpg looter shooter that is an absolute blast to play.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare4
Oct 26, 2019
The story is OK but very controversial and seems to go for shock value more than actual story. Multiplayer at this stage is the worst "boots on the ground" experience yet. The time to kill is 0.4 seconds, but for you it's much longer. Same crappy connections as every year, except the guns do more damage, meaning turn a corner = insta death.

Anthem0
Mar 4, 2019
Update: Score has been changed from 4/10 originally, since BioWare started banning players for using in-game methods to obtain loot - something they deemed “ruins the experience” of other players. ITS A PVE GAME!!! Also the game is reportedly bricking PS4s just by playing it. Even the game itself doesn’t want you to play it. Anthem is the latest new looter shooter IP, but incredibly fails to learn any lessons that have been learned from Destiny and The Division. Anthem has an average story that lasts around 15 hours - which is disappointing coming from Bioware - and a severe lack of unique, or even interesting end game content.

Far Cry New Dawn3
Feb 20, 2019
On paper, a piece of Far Cry 5 content that uses it's existing world and assets, while adding RPG elements sounds pretty interesting. In reality, it's a full priced game using the same world and most of its assets in a previous full priced game, combined with some broken RPG mechanics that were clearly added as an afterthought. This is a game that should have been released as a $15 DLC for Far Cry 5, or as part of its season pass. OR Ubisoft could have done what they did with Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, and release it as a standalone product for $15.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 46
Oct 31, 2018
A fun game when it works, but with all the bugs, crashing and progress wipes, for a studio as experienced as Treyarch, is completely unacceptable. it's hard to shake the feeling that it's a game that was rebooted and rushed for release in 6 months, and the lack of quality is telling.

Destiny 2: Warmind5
Sep 30, 2018
Shorter story than Osiris (which was 2 hours) and the plot is pathetic. Escalation Protocol and the new raid lair are enjoyable, but the core issues with Destiny 2 remain and this feels more like a side-step rather then a step forward.

Destiny 2: Forsaken8
Sep 30, 2018
For the first time since The Taken King, Destiny manages to capture the magic that the series has promised but failed to deliver. People will argue that this is the version of Destiny 2 that should have launched, and it's hard to dispute. But if you're willing to give Destiny another chance and can afford the price of entry, Forsaken brings the best Destiny experience to date.

Destiny 22
Oct 28, 2017
Despite far exceeding recommended specs, my experience with Destiny 2 on PC is filled with random freezing then crashes with no error codes. South Park: The Fractured But Whole7
Oct 17, 2017
Some changes have been made to the combat system when compared to Stick of Truth, which you'll either love or hate. The rest of the game is what you'd expect from South Park. While that's not a bad thing and fans of the series will get their money's worth here, it would have been nice to see some more variety that what we have come to expect.

Gran Turismo Sport5
Oct 17, 2017
A tiny slice of what used to be a large pie. The refocus to online competition is nice, but not at the cost of the single player experience. Containing a limited number of cars and tracks, GT: Sport serves as a sample of the inevitable GT7, only at full retail price.

Destiny: Rise of Iron6
Oct 5, 2017
Destiny: Rise of Iron is a disappointing send off to a controversial game. Packed with less content than last year's The Taken King, Rise of Iron still costs $45AU on launch. Rise of Iron contains a volume of content closer to The Dark Below and House of Wolves, then the original Destiny or the fantastic The Taken King.
PlayStation 4
Oct 5, 2017
Destiny: The Dark Below3
Oct 5, 2017
Destiny: The Dark Below, the first DLC for Destiny is a criminally disappointing and lackluster mess that only seeks to push the remaining Destiny players away from the game. Apart from an OK raid, The Dark Below offers nothing new the Destiny experience and essentially ignores the last 3 months of progress made by players.
PlayStation 4

Destiny 25
Oct 5, 2017
Destiny 2 is an improvement from Destiny 1, but worse than Destiny: The Taken King and Rise of Iron. Those two expansions added significant quality of life improvements over the original game, but Destiny 2 contains none of these. Destiny 2 at the moment isn't a game for fans of Destiny, it's a game for fans of an FPS.

Halo: Reach8
Oct 3, 2017
Perhaps the best and most unique Halo since Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo Reach serves as a nice sendoff from Bungie to Halo. The inclusion of Halo 3: ODST's refined Firefight mode is welcome and serves as an option aside from the standard single player and multiplayer.
Xbox 360

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare5

Whilst the change in formula and movement system is somewhat refreshing, Advanced Warfare seems to do what Black Ops 2 did, but worse. Exo Zombies is a poor attempt at ripping off Treyarch's wonderful Zombies.
PlayStation 4
Oct 3, 2017
Call of Duty: Black Ops8
Oct 3, 2017
A refined version of Modern Warfare 2, without all the **** Call of Duty: Black Ops is one of the best entries in the series, and provides a touch of magic from Treyarch who are clearly the leading Call of Duty studio.
Xbox 360
Oct 3, 2017
Call of Duty: World at War8
Oct 3, 2017
Call of Duty: World at War is more of a side-step then a step forward in the Call of Duty series. Reverting back to it's WWII roots, World at War brings the multiplayer formula from CoD4 and essentially puts a WWII skin on it. The introduction of Zombies serves as a positive sign to come for the series.
Xbox 360
Oct 3, 2017
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare9
Oct 3, 2017
A revolutionary masterpiece, Call of Duty 4 brings the best multiplayer since Halo 3. Boasting a great albeit short single player and a magnificent multiplayer, CoD4 serves as the most revolutionary console FPS since Halo: Combat Evolved and Goldeneye 007.
Xbox 360
Oct 3, 2017
Call of Duty: Black Ops II7
Oct 3, 2017
A positive step forward for a series seemingly on a downward spiral. The introduction of League Play is welcome, however Zombies is a significant step backwards from it's predecessors.
Xbox 360
Oct 2, 2017
Call of Duty: Ghosts3
Oct 2, 2017
This year's Call of Duty follows the same formula as the previous entries, but this installation is the worst to date. Completely ignoring the progress made by Treyarch's Black Ops 2, Call of Duty: Ghosts is a poor attempt at a cash grab from a series that is on life-support.
PlayStation 4
Oct 2, 2017
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 26
Oct 2, 2017
A good single player combined with an OK multiplayer, makes this game an OK sequel to the brilliant Call of Duty 4. A lack of post-game support is deplorable and effectively kills the replayability.
Xbox 360
Oct 2, 2017
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered5
Oct 2, 2017
A remastered version of a classic, Modern Warfare Remastered shows it's age. Knowing this, Activision used this game as a cash grab, with overpriced micro-transactions and content locked behind a paywall.
PlayStation 4
Oct 2, 2017
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare4

Another year, another Call of Duty. Although this time, it's the worst in the series. The only positive thing about this game is that there can't possibly be a worse CoD, surely...?
PlayStation 4
Oct 2, 2017
Destiny: The Taken King8
Oct 2, 2017
Destiny: The Taken King is a big improvement to the original Destiny and it's first two DLC packs. The sheer amount of content and quality of life improvements, make Destiny feel for the first time, that it may someday reach it's true potential.
PlayStation 4
Oct 2, 2017
Destiny: House of Wolves5
Oct 2, 2017
Destiny: House of Wolves is an improvement to The Dark Below, but that isn't much of a compliment. With a story lasting 2-3 hours, House of Wolves feels more like something to keep Destiny players briefly entertained, while more significant content is being created.
PlayStation 4

Destiny6
Oct 2, 2017
This game is a massive disappointment that I can't stop playing. Destiny serves as more a trap, where one is lured into it's amazing gunfights and addictive RNG and loot, rather then a game that is played for fun.
