Total Annihilation is my favorite RTS of all time. I spent countless amount of time playing this game, so you can guess how thrilled I was about Planetary Annihilation. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. While the concept of playing on planets (being small spheres) sounds cool, it just didn't work for me.

One of the best strategy rpg since Baldur's gate! Challenging turn-based combat, checked! Complex character systems, checked! Cool DA with old-school 2D isometric, checked! Great immersive soundtrack, checked! .... Larian studios can be proud!

Another Amplitude game that nails it!! Dungeon of the Endless is a bold new take on the roguelike genre, including tower defense mechanics, and strategy rpg elements. It may sound like a strange mashup, but it just works! Like the other Amplitude games, levels are generated procedurally, so expect 'endless replayability'... Add awesome pixel Art, and the usual great music by FlybyNo and you got a gem. One you shouldn't miss especially given the ridiculously low price tag!! Dungeon of the Endless deserves no less than a 10!!

The team of Amplitude got my attention with Endless Space and with the innovative way they are developing their games (aka Games2Gether, a great crowdsourcing initiative). Now they deliver a fresh take on the 4X genre, the scifi/fantasy setting works very well. The GUI is at its best (and I am rather critical on that aspect, having a long experience of GUI modding in several other games). The visuals are really cool (from artworks, to the table top like procedural map). The asymetric factions offer 'endless' replayability (and are really something different from any other strategy games)... This is why this game deserves the best score I can give! If you like grand strategy games, give Endless Legend a try, you won't be disapointed! And the price tag is really low compared to any other new games of that level of quality !
