I remember being traumatized by the original film, probably because I was home alone and had the flu, although I don't remember much about it other than the clown. This film was pretty good. The kids were superb. Their characters were very well done. The images of the town and the underground were great. I'm not sure if I'm motivated enough to watch the promised part 2.

It would have been better if there was some true motivation for the killers to be killers. They do it for the views, I get it, but if they showed the barbaric obsession of the mass viewers then it would be more tragic. That's what makes Hunger Games more terrible, because the audience was obsessively invested in the games and fueled it to go on. There is no fuel in for the killer here. It wasn't really scary but it had potential.

I don't get why people love this movie so much. I admit that it was visually beautiful and the acting was great, but it was too quiet and slow. The story was okay-interesting. Why was it almost 3 hours long? Half-way through, I was questioning my decision of watching this in a theater. If I was at home, I may have not finished it if I didn't fall asleep first.

A beautiful observational film that brings the audience into the world of some folks trying to keep their head above water when they have little to work with. I hated the main character (Moonie) at first but grew to understand her and then feel sympathetic for her. Another reviewer complained that there is no ending, so if you're looking for something that ties up nicely in the end then this isn't for you. I found the ending to be quite endearing.

This is a great biopic about someone more people need to learn about. I tend to forget that there were ordinary people doing extraordinary things while navigating through a unforgiving and mean-spirited society that existed decades ago. Refreshing and inspiring.

Professor Marston & the Wonder Women6

I enjoyed the story about the emergence of Wonder Woman and its direction. I also enjoyed learning about William Marston. The relationship storyline was not believable to me and some of the characters' actions felt contrived.

Lots of people romanticize military service without understanding the struggles that vets go through when returning to civilian life. I'm hoping this film opens people's eyes to how this country does a huge disservice to our military once they're no longer useful to be deployed overseas.
