An entertaining and superior successor to 'Clone Wars' that brings the joy of the franchise's roots of adventure. For those who have longed for a series that continued a story outside of Skywalker's path, consider yourself rewarded to see something more fresh with new characters that are refreshing to get to know.

The first episode is not as strong as many of the season openers and feels like it was trying to half wrap things up from last season. It eventually picks up immediately and the schemes, the plots, the intrigue and action follow expectations. Yet another season of great television.

The political intrigues are far more interesting and the archetype characters feel more fleshed out this season as opposed to their introductions in the first season. The battle for the papacy has ended and creates a personal and unique take on the Pope's family.

Neil Jordan's vision is an intriguing and vulgar that plays off unevenly, but audiences will find many things to be interested in with this family and the individual characters that will be met with open arms (to an extent).

Each season gets even better and stronger than the last. As last year we had shocking moments in the middle and in the end, this time there are no stops pulled and every character becomes affected by something personal that progresses the story and every character from this moment on. This show

Season 2 is a masterfully made predecessor to it's previous year that is just as visionary, confident, inspired, and violent with a shocking finale you will never see coming.
