Primitive mobile game stretched to bigger screen that directed all its money into graphics. But hell yeah, once you survive the pathetically long initial agreements, turn down music a bit and turn off the annoying speech and subtitles, you'll get an enjoyable arcade game whose variety of eye-popping tracks will take you around the world and remind you of good old times of 90's NFS-like racing where you're not locked up on one monotonous island. It just got a wrong name. They should have started a new franchise instead. Well, but EA suits. Scared to make a move.

Jesus is this game overhyped! Bland, copied-from-I, Legend story, uninteresting characters, repetitive gameplay, bad-scripted sequences, poor UI and chaotic crafting, absolutely terrible aiming, unbalanced resources. All that above cannot be counterweighted by still-good graphics and awesome level design and sceneries. If you want already-outdone eyecandy and some sort of zombie-apocalypse simulator, go ahead. If you get bored after just few iterations of the same scenario or tend to outwit weak AI very quickly, you'll end up fighting the controls and bad scene layout instead of the enemies or logical tasks just after few hours of gameplay. I just wonder why this Uncharted's footlicker got so high scores. It took me half a year to play through just three hours of the game due to its lack for bondage-making. Why just so few other people noticed this?

I absolutely love this game! Parkour, beautiful, well-aging graphics, divine music (which brought me to regular listening to Magnus Birgersson), anime, parkour, jumping, jaw-dropping locations and parkour in one game! This was a breakthrough. Not only did it set a milestone in usage of Unreal 3 engine and the way the games of late 00's should look like, but it brought ingenious fun for those who can appreciate it. Should have omitted the stupid and nerve-tensioning fights with cops, this game would be clear 10. Many people criticize the game for anime-style cutscenes, but IMO exactly that was one of the original and well-fitted item of the bundle. I'm aware that it may not be for everyone, but I'd like to see it admired, just for the courage, originality and good execution. I finished the game cca 7 times, almost every summer. This is the game I spend sunny evenings with after all-day swimming at the pool.

One of the most emotional games I've ever played. Hooked to TV, I finished this gem in less than three sessions. From beginning to the end there would always be something interesting about the game, either its beautiful sceneries, enchanting music or more or less original puzzles. Status of an indie title helped the game keep its signature and way of story-telling. Balanced gameplay, emphasis on atmosphere and raising appropriate emotions at the right moments make it an addictive offering for those who seek adventurous story-based third-person candies. Especially the PC players who do not benefit from Sony's patronate. + Well-chosen graphics style + Neat, encouraging and eye-catching level design + Absolutely heart-taking music + Pretty fair puzzles + Interesting story with hammering, tear-squeezing moments - Music, though generally wonderful, sometimes shows signs of synths too much - The Boy's taunting gets annoying after a while - Short playthrough - Some parts or objects not explained well - Generally overpriced for its length and low replayability

Overhyped game with bit too high ratings. I was really looking forward to getting the game, though €15 after discount is an unsatisfactory price after game walkthrough. The graphics delivers some nice sceneries worth a wallpaper, however those parts are linked with absolutely mild paths offering nothing to look at. Low-poly, often simplified graphics becomes tedious. And since the game comprises of walking back and forth through empty valleys with almost no amusing or visual content (e.g. various fauna), the game is worth a lullaby before sleep, supported by the mostly dull music. PS4 version: I cannot speak for PC version, but the framedrops were really surprising, as I didn't expect Unity so demanding for PS4. Gameplay: lacking. The game will not demand much from your brain. Map orientation, lock codes, logical tasks. To summarize it with comparison: "Take this tool here and do an evident task few meters further with it." There were just very few moments where you had to plan or deduce a purpose of a thing. The story starts very attractively. During the three hours of gameplay it gets mediocre to weak though. After seeing the main character do series of stupid decisions supported by useless paranoia, the game comes to very disappointing climax, which actually leaves player not believing this cost €15. I know it's based on real events, but at least marketing could stop selling this game as "thrilling". It's not a walking simulator, because there's almost nothing to see. It's not an action-adventure, because there's no action and almost no adventure. The game will not make you sit on edge. It puts you in situation where you would never act and react like the main character.

Absolutely amazing piece of art with jaw-dropping graphics, beautiful sceneries, amazing locations, great story-telling, thrilling action scenes and balanced gameplay. Once you start, you don't want to stop until the ending credits. The only letdowns are shallow-minded characters, weak interpersonal bonds and kind of predictable end. But it's not about the destination, it's about the trip.

This game would have been great and figure as a powerful successor to the old and beloved RtCW. Would have been... if it weren't for terrible controls and glitches on PS4. The console version is bad on so many levels that I rage-quit in 4th mission (Eisenwald). Not only the checkpoints are extremly stupid and put you so much in history that you will soon attain hystery, but it is obvious that the creators didn't put much effort in tweaking the game for gamepads. Unlike the heavenly feel of having the game under YOUR control in DOOM, you won't fight enemies here. You will fight the controls. Layout cannot be much customized. If you played DOOM first, you will be raging. If you expect any help in aiming, you will be disappointed. And when the game makes a glitch that during gunfire you will suddenly look behind and get shot in the back, you will delete that game. Especially when you find out the closest checkpoint is 5 minutes back. Graphics. Prepare for being distracted by aliasing. And awful textures. And unequal lighting. And texture popping-in (if you don't have SSD or at least hybrid I switched to). Sound. It will distract you as well. Music cannot be lowered so you could hear what's happening in your vicinity, like someone talking etc. Reaching checkpoint would always scare me as I thought something important happened. AI. Unfair. They killed me through the walls. They spotted me behind their back. Peeking is useless. On medium difficulty. The game doesn't slow or pause on weapon selection (circle system, which is not well-crafted for TVs where nothing is clearly visible BTW). I've finished many FPSs on PS4. This is the worst so far. Maybe on PC I'll be allowed to enjoy it, but not on console. Bad port.

Uninteresting, confused, chaotic product of digestive tract I refused to waste my time with after 20 minutes of playing it. Seriously, this game had me realizing that hack&slash games may not be my object of liking. The scenes are way too chaotic. I didn't even have time to realize where my character is located and trying to at least touch the enemy by hitting square frantically, I didn't even have time to watch HUD and enjoy the game in the end. The quick-time events are thoughtlessly sudden and provide very little time to react to. Controls layout is nonsensical yet disallowing to alter. The dialogues I heard so far are naive and laughable. The only positive I noticed until my nerves burst out and made me hit "Delete game" (twice! By the way. I gave the game second chance) were the graphics, level design and visualization of the ancient greek myths (of course violated to the bone).

Just after few races this game loses its breath. Boredom, monotony and demand for self-motivation to continue with playing cannot be saved by extraordinarily believable graphics. Not even speaking about the rage caused by update which makes the BR-disc-distributed copy absolutely different new game, because the weather system included within update helps gameplay very slightly. The graphics itself is amazing, though it hurts playability and design of some tracks due to visibility issues. As I'm aware of difficulties of driving a car in real life, being able to see nothing on the screen during dusk makes it hard to move in high velocities with help of what the game offers. The physics suited me, average mortal not playing with steering wheel, who demands some progress in single-player campaign, not repeating one track over and over to attain pure perfection. However some of the tasks like drifting and drags like borrowed from NFS franchise do not seem proper in this game. And they feel quite boring, because it requires me to repeat one track over and over to attain pure perfection working with physics that cannot decide whether it should be simulation or pure arcade. When you start to feel bored after 10-15 races, you start to realize that one does not need more than one car. After 30 races you start to realize that you should change the car just for making something less boring. I do not deem this well-tested game design. My last sentence hit the spot. This game is quite good in parts. Graphics, mechanics, content. But together, it feels like tremendous amount of gameplay testing would help the entire image. Unfortunately, the developers decided to solve this situation by flooding customers with DLCs, additional tracks, car stickers and even events. Like you only bought an engine with demo tracks (which do not use weather system at all) and fun needs to be purchased additionally. This could have been a good game. Every team in the studio did great job in fields they were responsible for. But after putting it all together, it feels like it only required some good decisions from the management.
