I thought the game started pretty strong, the story held my interest and i liked the characters we were introduced to. It unfortunately becomes very predictable and the characters dont become anymore fleshed out than their introductions. Very by the the numbers story telling. The free running and movement is fine, although i never felt like i managed to make it feel smooth, there is a lot of starting and stopping. The way point marker you follow i thought was too slow and a lot of time was spent having to stop waiting for it to catch up to show me which way to go next. My main problem is the combat, its not fun, basic, not fluid and there is way too much of it. Overall its a pretty game and while predictable is still relatively fun as long as youre not expecting world class story telling. I'm still glad we got a squeal even if its not all i wanted, but i wouldn't be surprised if we don't see this franchise again for a long while.

I can fully understand why this game may be divisive among people. Some people thinking the twists were cheap, the class trials were too long and that they were not happy with where the game went in the end. But for me all that stuff worked. This game constantly left me wondering were it was going to go, it contains, in my opinion, some of the better twists and i found it insanely hard to stop playing, "i will just play for 5 for minutes" would always end with still plying hours later. My main problem with the Danganronpa series was that i always managed to pretty much guess the class trails result before they would happen, but with Danganronpa V3 i was still unsure who the blackend was even when it was time to vote. My main problem with this game however would be the characters..mainly the female characters. A lot of them are pretty one note and you don't start to see much growth until pretty late in the game. While ive always praised this series for managing to make you care if an "unlikable character" is killed, with this game there was a stage when i was really hoping some of them would be killed. However saying this, this game includes a few of my favourites characters of all time. In closing i can only imagine that if you are a fan of the previous games you will at least be able to appreciate this one even if the twists are not to youre taste. A game that keeps the Danganronpa series fresh.

The game could be a lot of fun if it wasn't filled for with a bunch of bugs. In my experiences the game likes to have who ever has the worse connection to host. This means the majority of the time you are left lagging and getting frustrated when you're just about to kill someone for them to then dissapear, reappear behind you and kill you. As for the pay to play aspect, personally i don't find it that important. Unless you want a new gun, taunt or player design, its not really worth the money to upgrade anything. Ive noticed in the many games i've played that players as high as level 25 will still use the same class set up you're given at lvl one. I do think this game is worth more than the five i gave it, but until the bugs are fixed i'm unable to fully enjoy.

Final Fantasy XV

Personally i feel people are scoring this game highly by solely comparing it to the disappointment that was Final Fantasy 13. Yes this game is a lot better, but that doesn't mean this game is good, in fact it is just average. The main story of FF15 is passable and kept my interest and the development of Prince Notics and his compainions was well done, but FF15 includes some of the laziest side quests i have ever played and they feel so out of place, "quests" such as find me some ingredient, take a picture for me and help me pick up some frogs are all recycled and repeated through the first half of the game which add little to no excitement and end up feeling like a chore. Multiple times i found myself thinking" why am i doing this?" and "why are they asking their prince to do such trivial tasks?" My main complain about this game is the combat system. It reminds me very much of Dragon Age 2, lock on and spam one button. There is no skill, no tactics and most of the time it becomes so frantic. This doesn't help with the terrible camera which doesn't follow the character and most of the time you've left wondering where you are and whats going on. Id also argue if this is even an RPG at all ( the second half of the game definitely isnt) You only control one character, the other three will fight on their own and will always get hit whenever you use the limited magic you can use since you cant command them to move away before use. I ended up not using magic at all since it just became a hindrance. The world is also dead, their is no excitement, nothing going on, NPCs you dont care about and most of the time is spent looking at the lifeless scenery while sitting in a car you dont really control. Overall the game does have some good moments but they are too and far between and for a game that took so long to make, everything just seems so rushed and not thought through.

Far Cry 4

Just like its predecessor, Far cry 4 offers a stunning environment and innovative villain but does absolutely nothing with them due to a sub par story. Far cry 4 cant seem to decide weather it was to be taken seriously, as shown in its pretty serious main quest. Or if it wants to be goofy, which is shown in its side missions having you kill endangered animals just to make a coat. This time around they do try and give the main NPC more personality, but the actual main character is never fully fleshed out, which left me confused and I stopped caring about the overall goal pretty early on. Far cry 4 seemed to lack a lot of Far cry 3s charm and survival aspect. Hunting animals and picking flowers for boosts seemed more of a chore and something which just got in the way. Its not a bad game by any means, i just wish in future installments more time is spent on story telling.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

On the ps3 console i have found this came pretty unplayable. The most important part of the Call of duty franchise these days is the multi player. While advanced warefare is better than Call of Duty:Ghosts, it suffers from one major flaw. That flaw being, only having two guns that are worth using. Most of the guns seem so unmatched compared to the BAL or the ACR, that there is really no point using them. The new Exo abilities are rarely used if your not playing competitive as the amount of boost jumping that happens in pubs makes the game lack any kind of strategy. There also seems to be a constant lag the the game, personally ive never played a call of duty as connection based this this one. The lag is mostly noticed in the menu screens and while opening loot crates which becomes annoying super quick. While i do like the looting system, nothing you get differentiates your player from the others so loots become left unoponed. While i do enjoy a lot of the maps, i just find this game gets boring and more frustrating really quick.

The Order: 1886

What i came to realize after playing this game is that The Order is more of a show piece than an actual game. Its Sony showing the audience exactly what the PS4 is capable of doing graphically and with this it succeeds. The order 1886 is a stunning beautiful game visually, no body can fault that. Its excites me for what the PS4 can offer in the future. The actually game however is very cliche and you notice a lack of actual gameplay early on. I wish they allowed you to explore, instead a lot of time (of a not very long game) is spent walking you through the game with an over use of quick time events. This quick time events arnt necessarily done badly but they do become annoying. Saying this, the game doesn't make me not interested in its universe, quite the opposite actually. It did leave me wanting more and i would love for there to be a sequel. Just one that is done a little differently. The Order 1886 really isnt as bad as people are making out, but i recommend waiting for the price to drop before purchasing.

Is this game ****. Is this game fun?.. Hell yeah. The game looks stunning and obviously a lot of time was spent creating a big and lovely environment. I wish a little more time was spent on the story. Im not saying all games have to be serious but for this game in particular i personally wish they took it a little more seriously, instead of the slap stick/ not very funny humor they went with. My other negative is the Paragon and Renegade options. This isnt a game which allows you to choose both. You have to follow one or the other. While this does gain more replayablity, in the grand scheme of things he renegade option never seem to make any sense. But still, this game is still heaps of fun, a game you can spend hours with, without even knowing it. It also has the best use of the PS4 controller we have so far seen.

I enjoyed this game but i fully understand peoples concerns/negatives about it. Pros: I loved this companions as a whole in this game, more so actually than the companions in dragon age origins (which is still a by far superior game) Bioware listened from DA2 and allowed us more beautiful locations to visit and allowed us to customized characters armors and weapons. The main story is.. passable, i preferred the companion quests. The (tavern) music is lovely and i very much enjoyed the banter your compaions would have during exploration. I found the dragon battles to be a lot of fun. Negatives: Just like DA2 i felt the main story lacked hard decisions or decisions which really effected the story long term. You are given way to many side missions at the start of the game, and as im someone who has to complete all side missions before i move on, i was pretty much always 5 lvls above what you were suppose to be at throughout the game. Meaning i found all battles extremely easy and unrewarding. The boss was the easiest battle in the game. (for me) The war table missions seemed a lot more exciting that any of the side quests, its a shame all that is done off screen. Overall I enjoyed it as i'm a fan of these kind of games and have always been a huge dragon age fan, but for people new to the series i can see them finding it slow and hard to get into.

The Walking Dead: Season Two - A Telltale Games Series

"You can never have too much **** thing" Maybe this isnt the case when it comes to Telltale games. While i will admit that i did enjoy the story and was interested enough to stay around to the end, i feel like im too familiar with the way Telltales tell its stories for me to fully enjoy The walking dead season two. Choices (bar the ending choice) dont actually matter. Having the option to save a character doesn't mean much when you know your not really saving them, your just keeping them around for a couple more scenes until they are killed off anyway. I've always found this lazy on telltales behalf. In this game in particular i noticed a lot of dialog options which make you believe you've done something significant but in reality you haven't. While i enjoyed it while playing, on reflection im not sure if this current format has gone me excited for any future walking dead games.

At the moment i'm enjoying the game but i don't know how much longevity it has. Will i still be playing this after the rush of games at the end of the year are released...probably not. This is definitely a game where the fun comes from playing with friends. If your a solo gamer i can see you getting bored...even lonely. I have to admit i am very disappointed with the story mode or lack there of. For a game that cost so much money to make they could have least focused on story. Instead your told to go to point A to B, kill enemies and retrieve some item. Each "mission" i never really understood why exactly i was doing this. the repetitiveness is something you notice pretty early on. The game is beautiful and the locations made me want to explore, but with the lack of loot crates or hidden objects, all you find are enemies which made me ponder whether there was any point in exploring these locations at all. I spend most of my time in the tower than in the open world, which shouldn't be right. All my fun comes from the multiplayer, playing with friends is highly enjoyable, kills feel rewarding, movement is smooth and the customization of the characters and weapon upgrades is whats currently keeping me playing. Its not a bad game by any means but it feels like there's just something missing.

I will always praise games that think outside the box and doesn't follow a set formula. Jazz punk is weird, wacky, hilarious and totally out there. I haven't laughed out loud while playing a game, like i did with Jazz punk in ages. The swing wing commercial alone ,shown at the cinema early on in the game should really make me give this game a 10. Personally i would have liked the game to be longer and you could argue weather its wroth the price. If you're not someone who likes to explore, you'd finish this game in around an hour, and you'd also miss out on some of the better gags. This game shows that sometimes you don't have to take things too seriously.

For me this is the last good Final fantasy which was made and i'm ecstatic that its now been remastered and looks better than ever. Final fantasy X is simply JRPG at its finest. I've read reviews stating that this game hasn't aged well and now seems dated which i think is nonsense. The only negative i can think of with this remastered addiction is that there are times when the voice and animation isn't in sync which is pretty noticeable.

A visual appealing game with some creative boss fights, suffers for a complete lack of gripping story, exploitation and repetitiveness. While graphically this game is amazing, i didn't see any purpose to the end goal. Climbing high buildings, running away from crumbing floors and fighting waves of enemy's is fun at first but quickly becomes repetitive and feels like a chore. The camera angles are also something left to be desired, with your character sometimes getting lost mid fight in all the action.

If your a fan of Batman Asylum and Batman Arkham city then this game will not disappoint.. Origins offers a high class story, fun side quests and Enigmas (Riddler) puzzles are also back. I do wish the game played more the the "Origins" aspect. Apart from some key story plots, the game kinda forgets that this is suppose to take place before the other two games. The new gadgets you are given, in my opinion, are more advance that ones you own in previous games. There are some other small complaints, mainly that some of the assassin boss fights are hit and miss, but other than that this game provides hours of entertainment.

I've never been a fan of Call of duty campaigns and even though i didn't particularly like Black ops twos campaign, i praised it for being different and trying something new. Ghosts campaign however must be one of the most boring in the whole of the franchises history. Every level is more or less the same, follow a guy, stop when he tells you to, follow him some more, kill four or five bad guys, then repeat. The implementation of Riley the dog i personally thought bordered of ridiculous and the characters were exact carbon copies from past games. The mutli-player was marketed on having "dynamic map changing events (similar to battlefield), yet all i've ever seen in the oversize maps, is a petrol station blowing up, one map change due to a kem strike and being able to move dumpsters. While ive now got used to the multi player, after originally being frustrated with how fast you die, I still don't necessary find it all that fun to play. It was always going to be hard to compete with last years higher standard call of duty published by Treyarch and sadly, ghosts doesn't come close.

Its hard but you really have to play this game without comparing it to the studios predecessor, heavy rain. Heavy rain focuses on important decision making, while Beyond two souls main focus is on story telling, which it does well. The story is well acted and at times gripping but suffers from a lack of edge of your seat moments, due to the way the story is presented. There's also a lack of moments were you feel what you're doing is actually effecting your ending. I also personally felt it sometimes looses it way, the desert chapter comes to mind as a time i thought it story got a little lost. Its not a game for everyone, but a game i personally enjoyed.
