Marathon is a cynical, hollow corpse of a legacy franchise. Bungie has taken a legendary name and stripped it of its identity, forcing it into the soulless, hyper-competitive 'extraction shooter' mold that nobody asked for. With a player count cratering toward the floor and daily peaks barely **** by, it’s clear the community has already voted with their feet. It’s a tedious, grindy experience designed to extract your time and money, not to provide actual fun. Bungie’s 'modern vision' is just a glorified loot-treadmill that serves as a testament to how out of touch they’ve become

A bloated, cinematic slog that mistakes constant hand-holding for 'accessibility.' Ragnarök takes the tight focus of its predecessor and dilutes it into a repetitive mess of unskippable puzzles and tedious crawl-spaces. The 'Marvel-fied' dialogue is grating, the pacing is a disaster, and the companions won't stop shouting puzzle solutions five seconds after you enter a **** is an interactive movie that is terrified of letting the player actually think for themselves. When you compare it to the original God of War trilogy, the decline is staggering: those games were 1,000 times better in every single way. The trilogy offered pure, focused brutality, iconic level design, and a sense of scale that this modern, soft version of Kratos simply cannot replicate. Ragnarök is a massive disappointment that sacrifices the visceral, triumphant spirit of the series at the altar of 'prestige' storytelling.

A hollow, derivative slog. Saros feels like Housemarque put their entire design philosophy into a blender and forgot to add the soul. The 'bullet hell' mechanics are just a chaotic mess of visual noise, and the narrative is so paper-thin it’s practically invisible. It’s an exhausting, repetitive grind that proves even a talented studio can lose its way when chasing trends. Save your time and your sanity—this is easily the most forgettable title in the current PlayStation lineup

Honestly, Ghost of Yōtei feels like a massive step backward. It trades the soul and refined focus of Ghost of Tsushima for a bloated, repetitive open world that lacks the same sense of wonder. The combat, while flashy, feels like a hollow retread, and the narrative simply doesn’t capture the emotional weight of Jin Sakai’s journey. It’s a beautiful-looking game, sure, but under the hood, Tsushima was miles ahead in terms of pacing, atmosphere, and sheer joy to play. This is a classic case of 'more of the same' but with less heart.

Another soulless cash-grab masquerading as an expansion. The Revelations DLC feels like a bloated, recycled mess that completely misses the frantic magic of its predecessors. It’s a cynical product for a dying studio, prioritizing forced backtracking over actual innovation. Save your money; the only thing 'dark' about these ages is the state of the industry

"DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations is an absolute masterclass in kinetic combat. It takes the series' signature brutality and refines it into a visceral, high-octane experience that feels both fresh and nostalgic. Every encounter is a symphony of carnage—it’s not just a game, it’s a adrenaline-fueled triumph that proves the franchise is still the undisputed king of shooters.
