8 years since I played this game and its still one of the most satisfying shooters I have ever played. 8-9 hour game play with a great story, gameplay and top quality voice overs. Squad mechanics is one of the best I've seen in a first person shooter though the AI could use a bit more polishing, its still better than some of the NPC teammates from other more contemporary shooters. The linear progression is fine as it portrays the story in a good pace. Not everything needs to go sandbox people. Squad mechanics are well placed with a very responsive Squad AI. Enemies are brutal and will really make you appreciate the different variety of droids in the Separatist Army. Graphics are a bit dated and could have used some works even when it was originally released. In sum, this is possibly one of the best Star Wars game I've played next to Battlefront 2 and KOTOR and its definitely worth the buy.

Hearts of Iron 2 is more than just a game, its a simulation of events that have or may have happened during the history. The game features a very deep and engaging game play with high attention to details to historical events, people and places. Combat is more than just "kill everything that is not you", alliances are lasting, economics is is adequate and actually strategic planning on part of the player is needed to win. The game does have its flaws. One of which is the very steep learning curve as the tutorial was severely lacking in information. It might take you 2 to 3 restart of the campaign until you get the hang of it. Overall the game focuses more on it's gameplay rather than the graphics, it's fun and enjoyable to both gamers and history buffs. Mods are highly supported that has yielded extended game time and re-playability. I would highly recommend this game to people who like historical games but not to people who like fast paced and graphics based gamers.

Here is a great stealth game that places a bar on all other stealth games in the future. The game sports a 2D platform type of gameplay with a focus on stealth and tactical maneuvering rather than a full action combat. The game has fluid animation, beautifully created atmosphere, challenging (yet not frustrating) puzzles and encouragement of user creativity during missions, but of course like with all things, it has it's flaws. It's 2D perspective sometimes make item interactivity a bit annoying (trying to interact with object A ends you up interacting with object B). Still, this is just a minor inconvenience and the overwhelming amounts of innovation in gameplay could more than make up for it. This is a game well suited for anyone who likes gaming for their gameplay and mechanics over superior graphics. Mark of the Ninja is a simple and easy to learn game yet stands above some of the more popular games this past few years.

Here is a game that is both unexpectedly good, yet at the same time, surprisingly disappointing. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is a great social game with lots of fun activities to keep you playing for a good length of time and to be honest, prior to it's release, I was skeptical if the concept of MLP would work for a game but to my surprise, the developers managed to pull it off. The game promote a social aspect, as interacting and adding a large pool of friends is essential for the gameplay to fully be enjoyed but it is not without it's faults. The game has some critical synchronization issues that prevents some of your friends from showing up in your in-game friend list (despite it's supposed social feature) and a number of graphical/visual bugs will occur during your play time. The worst, and probably the primary reason why MLP game has negative feedback is due to the ridiculously expensive "real life" money purchases needed to unlock ponies and items needed to complete the story. The scarcity of in-game alternative to money purchases might be its most glaring fault. Overall though, I like My Little Pony - Friendship is magic, its a good game to pass the time when you have some to spare. It's not a game to be rushed and finished like your standard PC/Xbox/PS3 etc. games, so it shouldn't be criticized for being slow. I would recommend this game to your typical tablet or smart phone user and an average gamer in general but not to "completionist gamers".
