i grew up with games just like this in the 80's so i love it. It reminds me so much of when i used to just play final fight, renegade and double dragon when i would just load up and have some fun except streets of red does it better, As its got branching Paths and the levels change slightly based of your choice.. sure its not massive but it doesn't need to be i think if they added some DLC for more levels , multiplayer online maybe even PVP arena, i would spend another £5 on it easy.. *updated my review* i didn't realise the expert mode as another feature which you can choose to increase the power level of the BOSS/ MOBS , this game is fantastic value for money score wise i give it a 9 just for the value of the game cost and the work they have put into how the game plays. its well balanced not to long not to short - so hats off to them well done. Thinking about it you can get this game for the price of a pint (or 2) in the pub... i think i would rather stay home and play this game.. p.s. in case your wondering im 46 years old and been a gamer since i was 10 years old and i love this game its easy to play and great fun :) pros. horror theme (every beat'em fan loves horror) its short play time - bad ending took me 1 hour 10mins the good ending took me 1 hour 20 mins in short bursts you can save at anytime *updated my review* expert mode allows Different options for increasing the difficulty of the Boss/mini mobs For me there is just something relaxing about being a hero and kicking bad guys butts perfect in hand held mode cons, for a game which is like £5 i couldn't really think of anything that bad but i will give it a go no weapon pickups (but hey you dont need any) on the docked mode the scrolling seemed a bit rough.. but i still played it for like 3 hours lol without a issue.

well i bought this by accident as i pre-ordered it way back in AUG 2014 from amazon and forgot about it. i had no plans to buy it due to all the people moaning about it.. all i can say is im glad it turned up on my door step and its no nothing like i was expecting due to all the bad reviews. i hated heavy rain. and this is nothing like it. To sum it all up for you its a interactive movie where you listen to all the plot walk around areas a little and then get to play all the action, all this is seamlessly bound together as for people saying its got a short play through.. then you didnt play it properly and just ran through it all without looking around after 6 hours game time (hard setting) has gotten me to Chapter 11 out of 16 and I have enjoy every minute of it from all the gun fights, quick time events and the little exploring you get to do *update* i have now fully completed the game and found every item took about 10 total hours (its got a lot of items) all trophy's completed - enjoyed it all ( boss QTE was hardest but still fun) just so you know i found the QTE's didnt spoil the flow as i normally i hate these things but i have actually started enjoying even these events as they fit/suit this type of game which again is a interaction action movie. All i can say is dont listen to the people moaning about it and try something different for once. This really game is a refreshing change from all the blam blam of all the run of the mill games we have been playing for the last few years . COD's BF's ,MMO's etc just give it a go and you might find a surprise like i have.. dont be scared of something people bring to the table just because people say its boring. p.s. for all those haters moaning about guns over powered.. this about **** a GUN if you shoot someone in the head they are DEAD.. it takes 1 head shot to kill people or 3 to 5 body shots depending on where you shoot them, again that makes a lot of sense for this type of interactive action movie game ( which as everyone points looks AMAZING), we are not playing COD or destiny any more. hmm i just deducted 2 points for the ending. as it wasn't really a ending :(

at first playing i thought WOW this game is GREAT its telling a nice story and we out to kill the first boss.. and i was praising it giving a high score. WELL WHAT A CON.... what turned out to be the first boss the first of 7 lords or something .. turned out be be the end of the game ...??? I felt like the game only just started and it finished just like that Its like they just decided they didnt like the game or just got bored of coding it. so they just went oh you just have to kill the first boss. time up thats finished it lets all go home then stopped making it total waste of time :( and it could of been so good if they put more effort into making the game bigger
