In a hacky, derivative, and sequel-filled world, Spirited Away is a stunningly original masterpiece that is rarely seen, and sets new standards for animation as an art form.

Alien is near-perfectly paced and incredibly tense horror flick that slowly progresses from a space trip gone awry into a waking, breathing, nightmare.

Army of Darkness is an 80-minute comedy gem filled with witty one-liners, awesome special effects, and a great cast. Though it isn't as groundbreaking as the originals, its still a great and overlooked action movie.

Evil Dead 2 is a delightful mix of eye-popping gore, wacky special effects, hilarious slapstick comedy, deliciously campy dialogue, and Bruce Campbell's best performance yet. Groovy.

Paced superbly with thrilling climax and the standard **** finesse, Dial M for Murder is a surprisingly enchanting for a movie that is mostly spoken word.

Perfectly tense and occasionally tragic (although occasionally silly), Rise of the Planet of the Apes is both a great origin story and a cautionary tale.

Pokemon Heroes does not feature anything worthwhile for parents or outsiders to the series, but will keep children entertained and may suffice as a guilty pleasure to fans.

The preachy, witless and horribly dubbed fourth movie is no better than the others, and it still feels like utter garbage in comparison to Spirited Away.

Although its less hypocritical than the original, it still lacks the qualities **** movie, and it doesn't bring anything to the table for people outside of the fanbase.

Pokemon is a delight for fans and young kids, but it features choppy animation, a weak script, hypocritical morals, and forgettable characters, and is easily outclassed by other animations like Princess Monoke.

Like all good superhero movies, its a slow buildup to great action. Unlike bad superhero movies, its incredibly well-acted without being too dark or too whimsical.

Finding Nemo is Pixar on their A-Game once again, with some brilliant performances from Albert Brooks Ellen Degeneres, a unique concept , some rich morality for adults and general hilarity for children.

Up is as charming and funny as any adult movie, and it keeps the morality and gentle humanity of a Pixar classic. This is a cinematic masterpiece to behold for all ages, as its flaws are few and far between.

Where a copy of the original would have gone wrong completely, this takes a great horror movie and turns into a gripping action story with remarkably memorable characters, gripping dialogue, and ramps up the horror to eleven.

It pushes the horror-comedy formula to new grounds, all the while being intelligent, funny, and occasionally emotional -- however sometimes too much so.

While it is still lacking in the charm, charisma, or characters that made the originals so great, Revenge of the Sith is refreshing, yet brief return to form for the Star Wars franchise.

The dialogue is excruciating, the characters and performances range from unbearable to decent, but the story and special effects are fascinating enough to save it from complete failure.

Although it's certainly accomplished from a technical level, the characters, dialogue, and story are certainly lacking, and this is a major fall in quality for a Star Wars movie.

If you're a hardcore fan, this is nonstop entertainment from start to finish. It you're not, most definitely give it a pass, for this is very, very weak.

This made me laugh once or twice, and it didn't make me mad. But it still harks upon other influential teen movies a bit too much for it to become worth watching.

This movie doesn't effectively capture the dry wit of the books or the ups and downs of preteen life. What i does capture is a person with a bloody nose sneezing all over the audience.

The effects are beyond breathtaking and the story is so emotional that it almost overshadows the awesome action of Terminator 2. A blockbuster beyond comparison by all means.

This movie so perfect shows a brilliant story of redemption, friendship, hard work and both the beauty and the corruption of the human race, that is hard to understand how making this was humanly possible.

This may be the most accurate portrayal of children in cinema, and the laughs are hard to deny. THe cast is energized, the plot feels fresh, and the adventure is grand and will satisfy all.

Though the ending is padded a bit, it is still another brilliant Lord of the Rings adaptation,and will forever stand as an example of quality big-budget cinema with impeccable acting and a satisfying climax.

It drags at time, and isn't as complete as the first, but the Two Towers is nothing short of breathtakingly awesome, and will satisfy any fan of the franchise and gives us new characters (like the irreplaceable Gollum) for us to ponder at.

A journey like no other, a grand adventure never before filmed, and a movie that is exciting from start to finish, this movie has an undeniable epic sweep that will take you in to the lush atmosphere of Middle Earth.

While it's certainly not the most sophisticated or subtle satire, all flaws are forgiven for the simple fact that this is about as funny as a comedy can get.

As gory as "Dawn of the Dead" and (almost) as funny as "Ghostbusters", this is satisfying, fairly low-stakes comedy that you lets relax, laugh and have a good time killing zombies.

This bloated and insufferable waste lacks the timing, tension, acting or the epic sweep that made the original such a good movie. If you want to make a bad action movie, don't go for silly or unintelligent, go for boring.

WHile the action sequences are ramped up to a very exciting extent, it lacks the intelligent story arc that made the original stand out, and occasionally slips into self-parody.

Though it is neither as original or as good as the average sci-fi fan would make it out to be, THe Matrix features a rather intelligent plot, eye-popping action sequences that will leave you satisfied.

Brilliantly crafted with moving characters, delightfully evil antagonists, Raiders of the Lost Ark certain to hark up nostalgia of early black-and-white escapist films.

Although Cowboys and Aliens featured some decent performances, it lacked the energy **** action flick or the intellectual depth of a decent sci-fi film.

Puss In Boots delivers where other animated kids fail. It delivers humor for both adults and kids, as well as appealing to the common Shrek fan and cat lover. It you don't like a nice story with a good spin on folk tales then this is not the movie for you.
