A thoroughly uplifting bit of cinema.

Up is Pixar's most ambitious attempt yet to take animation to higher (and deeper) places than it's been before, and Giacchino's sprightly music keeps the whole thing, impossibly, aloft.

It was a really funny but also sad (in a good way) movie. The poop scene was not necessary but other than that enjoyable film.

Rousing, exhilarating entertainment.

Winsome, touching and arguably the funniest Pixar effort ever, the gorgeously rendered, high-flying adventure is a tidy 90-minute distillation of all the signature touches that came before it.

As a piece of poetic compression, it ranks with the opening of Orson Welles's "The Magnificent Ambersons."

Has some great movie moments but also boring stretches.

I'm still left, though, with an unshakable sense of Up being rushed and sketchy, a collection of lovely storyboards that coalesced incompletely or not at all.

The visuals in the animated movie Up (2009) still hold up remarkably well — the animation quality is excellent. However, overall, I find the movie just average."

Just an ok movie nothing special. It has some funny stuff, but pretty much only good for a family flick.

Random, flat and stupid. Although the metaphor worked, other than that is so frustrating. I don’t think a 78 year-old and a 10 year-old know how to act and do stunts byTom Cruise. The characters are so stupid and stubborn. The whole thing is not meaningful after the kickstart. Things started to go random and boring. The ending ruined it all. Avoid this.

1. Who is the target audience of this movie? Kids or old farts?
2. Authors build the logic that they break themself multiple times. Whether it's physics, social relationships or sanity.
3. Old man lives for his wives' dream and does not have a personality apart from being an old fart.
4. The kid has a mother. Yet she is not ever mentioned and he always plays with an old fart after they came back.
5. Obviously, such boring people just needed kids in their lives. Why not adopt one?
