Definitely worth getting if you enjoy military or tactical shooters. This game gets better with every patch, and with over 200 hours logged I can say the game still brings fresh content every time I play. No scenario is ever the same, and with the new FREE DLC this becomes especially true. Mods will also blow you out of the water with new gear, sounds, imported maps from previous ArmA games etc. ArmA 3 is going to be popular and have a lot of players for a very long time. See you on the battlefield.

Quite an experience. This is a must play for everyone. Hilarious duologue, and a huge branching narrative will have you coming back again and again looking for every detail in the "story". Just when you think you have found everything, the game throws you a curve ball and you go for another wild journey with the narrator.

Quite a disappointment. In this installment, instead of feeling like a master theif you creep around and steel candle sticks, ink bottles, pens, and scissors. My my, I want to meet the person who thought that was a good idea. The controls are lacking, this would probably fare better as a 3rd person game. The AI are incredibly stupid, In that you can be crouched right next to them and they won't even see you, not even if you are 10 feet in front of their faces. Numerous gameplay issues with, animation, AI are all present. I couldn't progress because an NPC was stuck in a doorway just spinning in circles, or couldn't switch my weapons after I switched to the bottle and could do nothing until I threw it. Not very well done.

Got it for $1.49, and another copy appeared in my Steam inventory for some reason, so gave it to a friend. Below are our troubles: He can't connect to me, I can't connect to him. Shift+tab brings up console, not steam overlay. (who EVER maps console to tab!?) Get in game. People walking into walls, warping and laggy. Leave. Join another game. Host stops server mid game. **** VOIP always on, can't mute people in game, only in lobby. No lobby chat. No LAN support. Maybe 4 servers on the internet list if you are lucky. AI hear you at spawn through the floor below. Join Versus server with friend. There is no way to start the match. Have mouse sensitivity cranked up to max, still have to drag my mouse fully across the desk to turn 108 degrees. This game is so borked. Sorry if you paid $15 for it. I guess you could have fun in single player if you are really... patient. This is just a non working pile of code. How did this get approved for release on steam?

Wow, this is a stunningly beatuiful game. A definite tear jerker. It will have you laughing and crying. This is what storytelling is all about. A Definite must play if you like story based games. I played it in one sitting, and it was an amazing experience. Don't let the style hold you back, it is all about storytelling, and this game does it perfectly. The writing for the children is a bit off, but is still great. 9/10 Definite must play.

One of the best games ever from a story and character development standpoint. People saying this is just a movie? Sure it has 3 hours of cut-scenes, but 10-13 hours of gameplay. This story is so gripping, no other game has made you feel so attached to the characters. This is a masterpiece.

A fantastic narrative with great exploration and detail in every corner. A great indie title any exploration fan needs to play. Great graphics, atmospheric setting to the point of being unnerving exploring the house alone. Accompanied with the great voice acting make this game a winner.

Average SP at best. Mostly a corridor shooter, nowhere near as free as Crysis 1. Story is flat unlike the first. Kill the aliens. That's all there is to it. The single player was extremely short. Let's go back to the good old days of the first Crysis game.

Black Ops 2 uses recycled ideas of sci-fi that Battlefield 2142 already accomplished back in 2006. This game is way too late to a series that is burning out fast. Same engine, done future weapons, simple level design, arbitrary recycled level-up system. Pass it, demand something fresh than the same tweaked recycled game every year. Baaaa Baa sheep.

Excellent SP story! Now.... Portal 2 is worthy, but overly simplistic due to also being available on consoles that use analogue controls. Hey, at least we have the steam workshop so we don't have to deal with the simple console based level design anymore. If you want a more challenging experience look to the portal 2 workshop on steam.

By being produced by 1-2 guys, this really is a great achievement. The duologue is very interesting. It's worth two playthroughs at least. You play as the subconscious, and don't make nor really control the character and his thoughts, though can influence them. I went through it a third time without touching a single button. Just an awkward young man waiting for his date. Pretty good.

Faith is a great character, a good relief from every male protagonist in just about every game. Beautiful game, and can play organically like flowing water or clunky like a brick wall. After you get used to it, running gets really rewarding when you take guesses as to where to go and make all the right moves. Minimal gun play makes it tense and more of a survival game. Mesmerizing.

Tactical. This game has done what none other has, that is simulate real scenarios with real equipment, from opti-wands, door jams, and many less than lethal options. Your goal is to minimize casualties, rather than run around shooting everything you see. This with a realistic rating system makes this a must own. Even missing a suspects gun as evidence, or failing to report a detained civilian to trailers will affect your final rating. I played the hell out of this game co-op, and still has a very active community. That is saying something. A++

Pretty good story, though I want to know more about Elizabeth. I feel like her past is still empty. I agree she is one of the best companions in a game thus far. Her mannerisms and personality make her instantly likeable and you appreciate her company through the entire game. Stunning visuals, great sound, animation is top notch! Combat gets very repetitive and weapons become a chore. Highly recommend, as this game is brilliant.

One of the better story driven games I have played. I went into it not expecting much, but was instantly glued to my PC and couldn't stop until it was finished. Amazing graphics sound and story. Disappointed with Lara's development though, before you know it she will be mowing down waves of enemies, which doesn't fit her character at all. Definitely one of the best games so far this year, recommend it highly, even over Bioshock.

I love the FEAR franchise. I loved the action horror, and I especially loved FEAR 2. It is a sad time for the FEAR franchise as this is just another poorly ported console game. Graphics are not up to par with FEAR 2, why are we regressing? FEAR 2 flowed so organically, and I could not stop playing until I beat it. In this installment, we the PC gamers are left with an overly difficult jerky controlled game which design seems to be based around a buggy, unwanted and unnecessary cover system which leaves you looking at the poor wall texture as you wait for your health to regenerate (which is all the damn time). FEAR 2 had health packs, and it was brilliant... you the player were in control of your fate. Why, Monolith, have you forsaken your true core audience? A truly sad ending to a great series. I wont get to know what happens in the story, because this game is too frustrating to look at, and ultimately play.
