This game is literally a disaster. I was like 'okay, finally a Caribbean island, a Cuba-like playground, I will buy it anyway'. I was even defending this game first, as I saw some improvements to old mechanics, such as scouted enemy stats. But after a few hours, I am stuck, totally lost my mood because of 20-year-old problems. I can't make progress, because stupid NPCs are messing up everything in every 10 minutes. Actually, stealth is not an option, because someone is showing up and alert the whole facility. I am unable to scout, because AI characters are walking into front of my camera, and when I'm trying to be clever and swim around, they rush into the army to mess it up. The whole game is about a militarized regime, but there are no ammo stashes to steal. There are no necessary checkpoints during long missions, regardless I fail something because of my own mistake or because of the poor game design, I have to start from the beginning, even the scouting. I am really in the early part of the story, so judging it would be not representative, and this one may change, but for now after 12 hours, Castillo seems to be the weakest villain of all Far Cry games with zero motivation and the act is pathetic. I wanted to play this game at all matters because of the setting, I trusted Ubisoft after the surprisingly good atmosphere of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but in the end, I regret I have bought this game. :/ I loved Far Cry 4 and Primal, but skipped Far Cry 5 and New Dawn because of stupid ideas and nonsense contents. Really should remember and warn myself to not buy a Far Cry game anymore.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time

I feel so bad to give a Crash Bandicoot game a mediocre rating, but I feel this game became such a mess to me. :/ The new ideas, the new masks, the animations, the gestures, the characters are great and funny, but on the other hand, I feel this game fails on common designing problems: - The game is not instructive - I mean not in the challenging way - Default setting options are missing, such as setting brightness. - The directions I can move are not coherent or logic at many levels, the camera also turning sometimes without a sign, without logic so it kicks me out of the vibe - Handling is awful, I experience too many times that I hit the right button in the right place, the animation is played, but the game decides I would loose anyway with no right reason - The game is too hard, and this is leading to two main problems: Despite the amazing new ideas granted by quantum masks, the game fails to deliver up-to-date feature such as ability to set difficulty. I don't think they matched the right or the full audience. The childs who had plenty of time playing original Crash games are now working adults with deifinitely less time. I would like to have fun, and not stucking (and raging) for days at one single level. -Also, there are too less checkpoints, and in many cases not where it would fit the level design. Again, if the game was up-to-date, they would implement fast reloads to "modern" gameplay style, so I should retry just the recent challenge. - In "modern" gameplay, there is not enough reason to obtain apples, therefore I loose my motivation many times - They dropped the fantastic structure of Crash Bandicoot 2 & 3 where I could choose the order of completing levels at stages. It was such a good freedome, also granting me option to chill and regenerate when I stucked on other grounds. - It seems I can not pick up another tapes until I not finish the first/previous extra levels. This is a horrible designing soultion! In case, why should I replay the whole game If I decide to play them later? I should have to pick up every tapes, but being able to play them just in the right order. By the time I start enjoying the game and its funny animations, I run into a design problem killing the feeling. After Activision decided to discriminate players who prefer physical copies by making the demo available just for digital pre-orders, I decided not to buy this game for a whole price, and waited for the first discount. However, now I see It was rather a warning not to buy this game at all. :( I'm disappointed, disappointed because they messed up a game with such great new ideas by simple designig problems., and I'm disappointed because it is a Crash Bandicoot game, one of the first beloved games I have played as a child. When I'm thinking on selling a video game instead of beating it, it indicates something went wrong.

I was waiting for this game so much, but it seems a delusion. The idea is perfect, vehicles and destroyable playgrounds are perfect, but in other terms, this game is poor and very amateur. Wreckfest is full of unnecessary loading and confirming screens. Why should I check ready after leaving the leaderboard screens to move on? The half of the next map could be already loaded. If I start something in a career, there is a summery screen, then loading, then summery again, then loading again. In multiplayer, even if the next base arena is the same like in previous race, the whole map is loaded again. Why? And what would happen if the next map was loaded when we are in the lobby? Or why can't we set and tune our car during the loading screen? Why are 'microloads' when I am switching between cars in the garage and car change menus? Is it that hard to load some data these days? These are not about programming skills, but simple thinking or at least testing. Primary multiplayer things are missing. We can't play with our friends only. We can't set up a room with our own prefered settings by a lobby host. The default ordering in Server Browser screen is the number of players – why is it good to put full 16/16 servers on the first place? Who was thinking this is good idea? The handling is buggy as hell. I hit gas then the car is starting to move backward even in perfect condition. Oh, and armor upgrades are useless. I can get dream 'strength' numbers, the car is breaking almost the same way, definitely worse then other cars with the same or less strength rating by default. The game is definitely cheating. When I hit the break in a decent distance from a wall, I am suddenly going faster than like I was hitting the gas so I would crash anyway. There are lags, many times i am sliding back for a moment. The game was delayed by one year. I could not imagine how it looked like in November 2018 as it seems still unfinished.
