Final Fantasy XV9

Royal Edition adds a ton of content and this game went from an 8 to a 9. The joy and sheer amount of content earn this game high marks in my opinion

Final Fantasy VII Remake9

This is SquareEnix best showing since FFX on PS2 a game this shares a lot of world design with. They took the stagger system from FF 13 added it to FF 15 and created a rewarding combat system. The story beats are excellent. Wall Market was the most fun I have had gaming since Doom Eternal two weeks ago but same deal near perfect. Some texture issues stopped me from a 10. This game is pure on your seat fun strap in for a focused hard hitting opening to FF 7 remake.

Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster10

This game is really something else. This to me was the last great Final Fantasy title. The atmosphere was fantastic. A religion banning machina with a doctrine of living in a world where death is inevitable due to a specter of judgement called SIN. To save the world is to destroy it, a contradiction from a past war created a spiral of death that is **** is it? This is your Story! Beautiful remaster, Remixed Music, Sharpened 1080P visuals. Fast battles and a giant sphere grid to populate (Level up). This is a game of Celestial proportions do not pass the blitzball on this one!

The Legend of Dragoon10
Dec 23, 2014
I was a teen and just had finished beating FF 7. I was somber because I feared I would not find another experience to match. As I walked into the mall and knocked people over to get to my local software etc. (now defunct) I saw a cool looking Lithograph/Poster (A flying armored red knight) and without question purchased Legend of Dragoon. I put into my PSX on a Wednesday and suddenly fell ill until the weekend. This games atmosphere is incredible I was immediately Hooked with Dart and Shana and Lavitz. The addition system trying to time attacks perfectly for an incredibly rewarding combo. When Dart made his ascent unknowingly into a Legendary Dragoon to fight a crazed Giant, I was like what?? I put a great deal of time, 80 plus hours engaged in a timeless fight with complex characters. The Legend of Dragoon gave to me my first experience in the area of philosophy portraying a world that is not Black & White however Grey. I found myself empathizing for enemies and enraged at supposed heroes. This game was my, "Allegory in a Cave" awakening. This adventure spans four discs and is worth every moment. Whomever calls the plot simple needs a MRI. An ancient race, enslaved Humans and a calamitous battle. LOD has a rich history that drives the plot and opens up from a mere human war for territory into the fight for its future due to the distant past. A collision of past present and future and a philosophy and character design that delves into the complexity of a human being and it makes you question whether a hero could actually be a villain. The one negative for me was that you can only have a certain defined amount of items in your inventory and it becomes a struggle to choose what you is necessary for your journey hoarders beware!
