As a lifelong Nintendo gamer and fan, I did not experience many Final Fantasy games growing up. Upon getting the Switch 2 and seeing the acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Remake come to the Switch 2 catalog, I had to purchase. I was immediately impressed with simply the intro to the game as the cinematic and set up to the story are on another level, production poured love into this iteration. The linear progression is refreshing as an older gamer in a time where open world games are the big thing. How Square Enix managed to expand this story all while staying within the city of Midgard is truly impressive. The visuals and as I stated above, the cinematics are arguably second to none. It's a real treat to have this experience available on the Switch 2, which looks, feels, and runs incredibly. Definitely recommend adding this game to the library.

Best Mario Kart game made to date, hand down! As someone who grew up playing Mario Kart 64, Double Dash, and Mario Kart DS before sinking many hours eventually in to Mario Kart 8, this new installment clears all the rest. It delivers better in everything Mario Kart aims to achieve. The simple fact of how well it runs and smoothly it operates, it's hard to put the game down at times. This fast paced classic series, is still a timeless joy to experience with family and friends, or on your own. Highly recommend this game to every Switch 2 owner.

Wow! As a fan of the Starfox series who grew up on Starfox64, I'm thoroughly impressed with what Velan studios accomplished with this remake. In the month that it has been out, I have played this version of Starfox more than any other to date. This game screams repayability, from the many different paths and alternate routes throughout the campaign, to the challenge mode, and addictive multi-player battle mode. Starfox for the Switch 2 is a top game for the system and easily one of the best looking/feeling Nintendo has to offer. Highly recommend giving this arcade style rail shooter a try!

A timeless top-down classic, beautifully remade for the switch. It was a joy to experience on the switch, but even more enjoyable on the switch 2 with the performance enhancements. The mystery around the wind fish keeps you pushing through happening open areas and fun, puzzling dungeons to the end to see it through. A fun experience with replay value, that I highly recommend.

The developers knocked it out the park with this sequel to Botw. The story, gameplay, and execution are in every way a buff. Ultrasound and ascend feel like they should be a must in every game going forward. Then add the expansive depths and scattered sky islands to the equation, you can't ask for much more. Let's be honest, Ganondorf is epic in this iteration. Easy top 3 game of all time imo. Highly recommend.
