Monsters are generic, story is unsubtle and over dramatic, it's more of an action game than a psychological horror game, design style is way off, tone is way off, the protagonist is a superhero instead of an everyman, the "scares" are unsubtle and over the top, it isn't grounded in reality and there's no twisted relatability in the Dark Shrine, White Claudia and the God didn't create the Fog World, which doesn't even exist until the 1999 original and is specifically tied to the town. This is such the polar opposite of a Silent Hill game, it's embarassing they even tried to pass it as a spin-off. Dev: "But it has fog, a cult, and the monsters represent a person's mind!" That's a flanderization of Silent Hill. By that logic, Batman: Arkham Knight is a Silent Hill game. Common Konami L.
