I am not much of a fan of detective games and didn't particularly like Papers Please, but something about the atmosphere and information gathering of this game completely **** me in. The only issue is that the coolest part of the game is seeing new scenes for the first time, but you spend most of the game staring at your notebook and thinking, but that's the only thing keeping this from being a 10 for me.

An extremely cool little game with a small solar system full of puzzles and mystery. One of those games where the less you know about it the better. It seemed to want to tell a story of optimistic nihilism in my judgement, but hearing every player's different interpretation of the game's message is part of what makes it so special. The haunting soundtrack will inspire feeling of fear and awe in you. Truly a gem **** that I will remember forever.

Excellent in nearly every way. A truly evolved version of the original HK. Hornet is an absolute joy to play as. The controls are refined to a razor's edge and the fluid movement makes evem running from point A to point B a blast. The Knight felt more precise and rigid to control, but Hornet feels like a ninja. The variety of crests and tools gives you a ton of options to change up your kit if you get stuck on a hard fight. The boss fights are awesome, especially the ones that are small and fast. They demand focus and strategy. The only criticism I can give is that the soundtrack isn't as memorable as HK in my opinion.

Sort of felt like they spent most of their good ideas on the first game. Story is ok. The reasoning for getting to continue playing after hitting credits doesn't feel well thought out, even to the characters themselves, who are constantly questioning "why are we doing this again?" The soundtrack in the water level is superb but most of the rest is pretty forgettable. I have almost every aspect unlocked at this point but I really only like two of them. The rest feel like they're underperforming DPS-wise in comparison. This made it more annoying when the game picks its "weapon of the day" compared to the first game where I liked every weapon besides the sword.
