Pretty Cover, shallow core. This is not a Tarkov with 50+ guns and thousands of loot items, this is babies first extraction where the only humans on the map are the other players (everyone just teams up and cheeses the AI) and the enemies are the same 6 AI drones that are not that fun to fight after the first few encounters. I luckily was right under the refund limit for steam , as only 4 extraction maps when competitors have 10+ seemed very limited to me for a non free to play extraction shooter. The intensity of an extraction shooter wears thin when everyone on the map is teaming up because technically the real enemy is the AI drones. Skill tree is pretty basic, weapons are limited (I think 12 total?) and loot is very basic compared to many other in the genre. I could see the casuals clammer for this as it reminds me of Fortnite's casual gameplay that does not require much of a brain to excel.
Command and Conquer Red Alert remastered. This is easily one the better RTS games to be released in years. For a great price, you get good graphics, an entertaining story, and some modern upgrades for the genre, that add a lot of depth. If you enjoyed StarCraft and the old Command and Conquer games of late nineties, you will love this game. Even the music is really good and was impressive for the genre.
Best DLC prob ever made for any game. Took me 6 hours just to unlock a portion of the map, 35 hours later, I am probably 40% complete. Boss fights are even better than the base game, and their is plenty of over powered gear and skills to make the game a lot easier. The new DLC zone is simply amazing to explore and look at, new enemy types everywhere and the music is once again perfect for that dark fantasy gameplay. I would have paid 60+ for this DLC but the fact it's 40 and has more content than most games today is a testament to how FromSoftware are becoming the KINGS of Japanese developers.
More like a 7 but the amount of different types of games here and it somehow works is something to behold. It's an extraction shooter/Tower Defense/ Loot Rpg/Armored Core hybrid wrapped up in a janky bow that is tons of fun. Story and NPC models are pretty bad, along with the voice acting. Luckily the amount of depth in the combat and amount of customization is astounding for a 25 dollar game. Starts off slow as co op isn't even unlocked until like 6 hours into the game. But what's here is something very unique and very fun...
A hot girl with a **** personality. Story is shallow, not much depth in the rpg elements. Combat is fun and plays well but class balance is needed badly as some dominate over others. Overall I would wait for sale, Elden Ring really makes this game look bad as I recently put 150 hours into that before playing this and it was a mistake.
Finally, a worthy remaster that is worth your time. Everything about this game sets the bar for Final Fantasy games. Combat finally perfected with depth/strategy and action, character building on another level as it has an emotion/relationship mechanic. Then you get out into the open world with the amazing graphics, and fun side activities. It's easily one of the best FF I have ever played, and I have played them all....
The last time I bought a COD for just the campaign was back in the 360 days, but this is easily the worst of the franchise and I would take COD Ghost campaign over this any day. 1st zombies mode in a MW game and this is actually what I'm enjoying the most. It's the only casual mp experience we have and being on PC multiplayer is 30% hackers so Zombies is the relaxing mode. Missions are varied and the difficulty is your own choosing as you venture into "yellow" and "red" zones that have stronger enemies. What's great is you can extract weapons and gear that require grinding in Multiplayer and level them up. Overall considering Multiplayer is a glorified Map pack and Campaign is horrible, Zombies is the ones one "new" thing that's actually pretty decent.
One of the best games ever made. I never played a Souls game before this and now I am hooked. Literally not one thing wrong with this game. If you enjoy video games, you must own this title.
Easily the best game Bethesda has done, especially the New Game+....I would even say the game doesn't even really open up till New Game++. The lack of tutorials, occasional bugs like hard crashing, and horrible UI make this a imperfect game that wont win GOTY like a Baldurs Gate 3. But considering I played BG3,D4,FF16, and Zelda this year, I'm still easily putting more time into this. I already have about 80 hours and I'm barely scratching the surface. The gunplay is done really well, and the ship building is the best part of the game IMO. Once you get a grasp of it, the game opens up immensely.
Finally a developer that understands what players want in a RPG as this gives unmatched variety/depth/freedom in it's gameplay. I hired a Female Dwarf Barbarian who has some cool perk where she gets stronger with LESS armor/clothing on... so the game let me take everything off including underwear and she now charges into battle bare naked with just a Axe and boots on and she is easily my strongest character. I didn't think I was going to like the slower turn based combat coming from games like Diablo 4 and Remnant 2. To compare, those games feel like babies first RPG compared to the options and depth in this combat. Not only are you controlling a party of 4 but they all have their own skills/gear/personalities. And the loot system is amazing as well as 1 chest in some random ladies house you ransacked will have amazing boots for that naked dwarf barb I mentioned earlier. I wasn't expecting to get this game but I had to jump on board once I saw the numbers on Steam and I am so glad I did as this is easily one of the best RPG's ever made. Even if you don't like turn based combat/tactical RPG's I would still buy it just for the amazing possibilities the game allows you to explore that many games lack.
Ok so this game is more of a 8/10 but I know many will boot it up, play a match or two, and think it has no variety, maps, etc.. I thought the same thing but the AI Chat GPT narrator/DM made a 10 player co op raid where it combined the two teams (that usually compete against another) into an epic boss fight that was not easy and lasted nearly 20 minutes. We barely beat the boss and I thought "WOW that was one of the most fun moments I've had in Co op in a long time". Sure the story is oddly placed behind secret files you randomly get through playing and it will seem like your going through the same maps at the start but eventually things start changing and new enemies appear, along with new bosses and hopefully more 10 player raids. Gameplay is fast and well optimized I locked at 60FPS on high settings at 1440p and GPU use is low 30's(3070). IMO game needs some balancing as rigs like Barrage are so OP he can hold down entire lanes by himself while others struggle. Also game has no team reqs as you will spawn in and everyone is playing attack and no tank or healer is present or required. We have actually won matches with no healer as this is no overwatch meta. Now the Elephant in the room is the forced PVP, for me I actually enjoy it a lot as it brings something fresh to the horde mode shooters. I have had matches where we are losing badly and the enemy team gets cocky and decides to run over to our area to PVP and my char will team wipe them leaving their obj open to be destroyed for an easy comeback. Overall if you want a FUN co op and somewhat PVP horde mode shooter that is free on Gamepass def pick this up.

Def washes the horrible taste Callisto Protocol left.... This IMO was the greatest action horror game ever made when it released in 2008. This new re make is something every dev needs to take notice of as it's simply amazing in every way. They have added several side missions to the game that did not exist in the previous version that actually flesh out the story a little more. Sound and graphics are where this game excels as I was running everything on ULTRA settings @1440p and getting 90+frames. You have to play the game with a nice headset that has 7.1 surround sound as it really draws you into the atmosphere. Game still holds up well today gameplay wise and I look forward to a DS 2 remake. Thank you EA for actually making a well made product. Now go re make BF: Bad Company 2 please!
I've been gaming since the old NES days of the 90's and I can easily say this is a GOAT type of game. It's everything you want in a AAA title, as it has the amazing graphics (PS5 60FPS mode), the amazing story and characters, amazing music and sound design, and amazing gameplay. After my 50 hours of gametime I was thoroughly convinced it's GOTY. Yes, Elden ring was an amazing game that I did put over 100 hours into, but I did not feel the same emotions or fun factor as I did while playing GOW Ragnarok. This is a type of game where if you're huge PC/XBOX/SWITCH fanboy/girl you need to put that away for a few weeks.... Go out and buy a PS5 along with this game and get ready to see SONY SANTA MONICA STUDIOS put all those other developers to shame. The bar has now been set very high for a AAA single player title done right, and now its up to ROCKSTAR or maybe NAUGHTY DOG to come try and top this game but I don't see it happening anytime soon.
I'm a HUGE Deadspace fan and was really excited for this game but once I heard some troubling things in reviews about difficulty spikes and to play on EASY. I was skeptical... but sadly had already pre ordered on PSN (which has horrible return policy). I was actually liking the game until the final act when the game goes from Survival horror to boss fight mode. And I mean ANNOYING boss fights that put ELDEN RING to shame. And I was playing on EASY and still struggling with these broken bosses that you can't melee in a game that focuses on melee. Wait for deep sale as it's not very long and I beat in like 10 hours and should of been like 8 without repeat dying.
Grind fest. First 12 or so hours are a lot of fun but then you realize it's random loot in the shops with the same 4-5 weps and hardly any character depth in the skill trees. Nvm the fact you get 0 xp for killing enemies and only rewarded for clearing stages that are the same 6 levels over and over. You also have to have a pretty good PC to run this as even my 3070rtx could barely run this at 70 frames in 1440p on LOW settings. Wait for sale if you like horde co op shooters as it's not worth full price.
THIS IS A REVIEW FOR DMZ AS I DO NOT PLAY WARZONE. If you're Tarkov fan you will enjoy DMZ as it's a lot more forgiving and can be a lot of fun with a coordinated squad or even SOLO if you like a challenge. It's in BETA so crashes, bugs, and AI balance are it's biggest issue so far, but what is there to play is something that has a TON of potential. Since DMZ's release it's all I really play on MW2 anymore. It has a very "1 more run" type of feel as the risk and rewards are all dialed up to 11 and you can have some crazy outcomes compared to Warzone. Can't wait to see what they do with the mode considering it's the first of it's kind in a COD and IMO the best thing they did for the franchise for us people not trying out for the FAZE clan.
Been playing COD since the original on PC which had 64 player MP and a lot of bunny hopping. This also has (finally) a 64 MP mode and a lot of bunny hopping. Some hardcore fans will hate the new attachment system for weps as to get the best red dot for the M4 AR you need to level up the shotgun, etc. Gunplay has more recoil than 2019 MW but that's a good thing as it feels more satisfying. Sound for guns is top tier for FPS games and blows games like BF2042 away as far as sound design. Maps for 6v6 range from very good to WTF were they thinking. I prefer the bigger maps on Ground War as they seem like a mini BR with tons of buildings and vertical gunplay. The Single player campaign is also one of the best in the series and has no loading screens and is shot like a Hollywood action spy movie. The main reason I knock off 2 points is because of bugs causing crashes and a lack of certain things like Hardcore mode (which I don't play) and a combat record to see KDR and weapon stats. Other than that if your a fan of FPS games this is an easy buy. If not wait for sale on Black Friday....
With only 1 tank allowed per team if that guy isn't very good and the other team's tank is elite.... Get ready to be dominated and possibly spawn camped match after match after match. After struggling to connect to servers for hours after playing about 35 matches I had enough as it's just the same old OW but without the ez lootboxes to obtain and a POS battlepass. Plus the game is such a sweat fest in unranked you have no chance of trying out a new hero unless you wanna get steam rolled.
Amazing game, that spoiled gen z babies want to run perfectly. I remember when skyrim released on ps3 and ran worse than this yet was praised by everyone. We as gamers have become spoiled and this is an amazing game with great gameplay and open world.
As a huge fan of the first two in the series, I was very disappointed in this game. After the appeal of recruiting anyone wears off after a few hours, you realize this game has no variety in missions and side activities. The story has no cohesion as their all played in different chapters. Once you get a hitman and a albion uniform recruit the game is easy mode. Af
Easily the most beautiful game ever made! Even better is the gameplay, open world, and music are just as amazing and it call comes together to make one of the best open world action games ever made. **** Punch did an amazing job and the game should be played by all PS4 owners especially on a pro with a HDR enabled television.
Easily one of the best games ever made. Any of the haters on here are sheep who wanted a spoon fed more of the same story from the first. This game is a emotional rollercoaster that will make you play characters you hate and see their side of the story. Gameplay is the best you can get in an survival horror game.
Game is really a 7 but I wanna balance out the haters. I'm a huge predator fan as I grew up on the original two films. And if you love those movies this is the best game to make you feel like your playing those movies. Games framerate will crap out when it's chaotic but it's very fun and has a good progression system.
Easily the best DBZ game since Budokai 3 for PS2. Dimps has done a great job making a easy to learn yet in depth fighting system, while incorporating RPG elements into a core fighting game. The character creator is well done, the story is a nice twist on DBZ (how nice to fight along the bad guys and smash Goku's face in) and the co op is a lot of fun and runs very smooth. Overall It's not perfect it has some fine tuning as far as connection with the servers and some minor bugs, but if your a fan of the show this is a must own game.
The Exo suit puts this series into another level of fast paced combat. Sure Crysis, Halo and Destiny have done similar things but not this fast and mobile. The Pick 13 has endless combinations and the new loot system makes the already addicting multiplayer even better. As a person who has played every single cod (Including the 1st for PC 11 years ago) this is a step in the right direction for the franchise and easily the most fun MP game of this year.
While a huge fan of the series this game is another stellar entry in the series. While we all know the Main mission is short (I beat it in 1 hour 25 min) gameplay wise its the best the series has done. On PS4 this is easily the best looking Next Gen game and the music and voice acting are also some of the series best. The enemies are smarter and the open ended gameplay make it highly re-playable. While the ranking system earns you bonus rewards making you wanna replay the missions over and over trying to achieve that glorious S rank. If your a fan of the series buy it ASAP and even for new comers their is a nice backstory to catch you up easily worth the meager 30$.
Easily one of the best episodes of the entire series just simply amazing writing and intensity. The game (and the TV show) is so much better when the zombies are not focused on and the human drama is really implemented. Michael Madsen does a tremendous job as the villain Carver and the ending is so crazy I easily want to replay it again just to see the different outcomes. Any fan of Season 1 or the TV show needs to get the Season 2 pass because this is true entertainment and IMO at times beats out the TV show in terms of writing and character development. Also playing as a 11 year old girl in a zombie apocalypse is just great and Clementine herself is slowly becoming one of my all time video game characters, well done TellTale 10/10.
Good game just filled with bugs right now. I played the Ps3 version at launch and this does look better with some added game modes. The biggest problem is the game keeps crashing on the 2nd level and for some reason when making a private game It keeps joining me with random players hindering me from playing with a friend. Though we did eventually get into a game after a few minutes, It was just a shame to see a re-release of a 3 year old game didnt get fully tested and is having more problems than the original. Now that can all be patched and the game is a tough but very fun twin stick co op shooter but I cant go above a 8 with major problems like that at launch.
