BURLESQUE IS HOT! Cher is HOT! (The old girl's still got it!!) Christina is HOT! The chorus gals are HOT! The guys are HOT! The music is HOT! The sets are HOT! Even Stanley Tucci is HOT! (And always great!) To all you freakin' critics, you can pick all you want; most of you are so full of your own self importanc...e that you have forgotten how to enjoy a movie. Okay, so there's no groundbreaking storyline and it hints of Cabaret, Showgirls and Moulin Rouge! So what! Just suspend your belief for a couple of hours and enjoy yourself. You won't regret it! This movie is HOT! I've been in the movie business for 45 years now and very, very, very few movies have I had this much fun watching. And, that's what it's all about. Have fun, let this flick flow over you and carry you toe-tapping and cheering for a couple of hours. This is one time the ticket price is worth every penny. Did I mention? THIS MOVIE IS HOT!

A mish-mash celluloid mess! Not the least bit scary or frightening! ANOTHER HUGE MIS-USE OF 3D! COME ON, FILMMAKERS! NOT EVERY MOVIE HAS TO BE IN 3D! CAN'T EVEN TELL THIS ONE IS 3D!

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps5

If you're not savy to "wall street speak" it can be a little confusing. But, all in all, above average performances by a stellar cast, very good storyline and, that most important thing to me in a movie, great pacing.

Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole10

Star Wars, Avatar, Lord Of The Rings all rolled up into one grand epic. 5 stars doesn't do it justice! I loved every frame of this film. Magnificently beautiful, spellbinding, exiciting to the nth degree and finally getting 3D right. Don't miss it! [However, not a children's tale!]

Resident Evil: Afterlife1

Yawwn, yawn, yawn! Nothing new! Boring! Terrible 3D! First 20 minutes makes for a good nap. Another classic example of Hollywoodthink that more is better! Not everything has to be in 3D to be good. Studios are killing the 3D process in its infancy. Don't waste your money.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World9

HOW TO WATCH "SCOTT PILGRIM vs. THE WORLD. Get yourself an over-priced whopper sized soft drink along with a gut buster bucket of fake butter drenched popcorn, find a seat that's not torn in an area where your shoes don't stick to the floor, suspend your disbelief and leave your preconceived notions at the door and settle in for a cinematic rollercoaster ride worth every penny you've spent! Hats off to the best edited film in years. The fun is not knowing where this film is going and the quick cuts and fast pacing will leave you as high as Michael Cera is tall. You don't need to know the books or the back stories. Just sit back and let the magic flow over you. DON'T MISS IT!

Piranha 3-D0
Aug 27, 2010
The only horror I experienced was watching kids at the box office buying tickets to Piranha 3D. This movie is a massive mish-mash mess with no redeeming social value what-so-ever! Shame on you Elizabeth Shue and Eli Roth for participating! Your body of work reflects much better choices than this. You should take your salaries, buy up all the prints and destroy them! A perfect example of Hollywood deceit think; using the trailers to put a positive spin on a piece of celluloid trash!

The Last Exorcism0

The first 45 minutes of this movie mess is nothing but talk. Audiences, especially teens, expecting to be scared or shocked will be so restless by the time anything happens they'll probably storm the box office demanding their money back. When the action moves to anything the least bit interesting, it is so staged as to be laughable. Paid critics everywhere have become so full of their self-importance they've forgotten how to criticize a movie for it's worth. This movie is a waste of good film stock. I don't get today's critics. They feel it necessary to tear apart a worthwhile movie while letting clap-trap like this one slip by. Common sense will tell anyone with any intelligence to head for the exit post haste! I did not find one frame of this film interesting or believable.
